Terentia smiled sweetly as she followed after the stalion that she had been following the whole day she had been told here was the place where she was going to meet the rest of his family and she was really looking forward to it. She chuckled and tilted her head her mane and tail bouncing as she walked. Her ribbon shinning in the sunlight.
"Are we almost there."
She asked him in a soft voice as she turned to Ares and them moved to stand next to him she seemed to feel safer when he was nearby. She looked around this place was nice in scenery. She wondered what these other people were going to be like and even more so what this meeting was going to turn out to reveal. She had heard so little about this family she was curious to find out more. She smiled up at him and waited not knowing what to expect.

Ares looked at her and nodded his head. The plot was to introduce the female, Terentia, to his psychotic and dysfunctional family in hopes she would stop stalking him around. It sounded easier than to do this, then tell her to buzz off. He started to walk a little faster, "It's just up ahead." he replied. Most of the family came here once every few moons...so today word had supposidely got around.
Isis was trotting on the other side of her brother, amused at the situation. She knew he hadn't though that the family would think that they were intametly together and would soon inquire about childeren. Oh gods, that would be hilarious. Her mother and Ares had a strange relationship but they still seemed to accept each other. It wasn't soon before she saw her father up ahead. "Dad!" she galloped up to him and nosed him. "How've you been?"
Erik had a bit of sparkle in his eye when he saw Ares and Isis coming up the pathway, his family consisted of mostly winds. He nuzzled his youngest daughter and looked to Ares. "You showed up?" he smiled. "What a nice suprise, and a lady?" he inquired. He gave a curt bow and looked to the angeni. "Pleasure to meet you, not often Ares comes around and a lady...two his in one? Eh Isis?" he bumped her with a smirk.

"Its nice to meet you sir my name is Terentia. I am guessing you are the father of my friends. Its a real honnor." she smiled and then gave him a polite bow of her own before lifting her head to look at them all, they where a odd family unlike hers who all looks round about the same. She wondered how Ares would react to her family she got to meet his so she guessed it was only fair if he knew hers. She looked at them all before tilting her head with a sweet smile her vois trying to observe every detail of them. She wondered what they thought of her?

    The sight of his uncle approaching with the strangest females he had ever seen excited the young minded stallion. Someone new to play with! Khet raced towards Terentia, full speed. He dug his hooves into the ground mere feet from the mare and stumbled into a full stop having done this many times before. "HeyuncleAreswhoisyourmareshelooksdrifferentwhatswithherwingsheylookshehasblueonherwingtoohowdthatgetthereoooshesgotwingsonherearstoowhydontwehavethosewhyisthereribbonalloverherdoesshewannaplayhuhuhuh?" Khet didn't seem to breath as he fired one question after another, nor did he look winded after he stop talking. Khet's head shot around as he head his father, Atum, groan loudly at Khet's action to the mare. "Hi dad!" Khet yelled as he troted back over to his father and playfully tugged on one of his braids, much like a foal.Sekhmet waited until her grandson retired to his father's side before moving to Erik's side, her blue eyes looking over the angeni once before speaking. "Hello." There was a slight sound of distrust in her voice as she wasn't too sure what to make of the mare. More to the pint, should she really care?
Sekhy's attention wavered slightly as she felt the presences of one of her younger sons was felt. Sure enough, a glimmer of gold could be seen in the shadow of a near by tree. Nebu was there, but he'd mostly keep to himself unless someone came to him. He was always like that.

 Erik looked to Ares as in 'friends?' haha, sure yeah right. With perhaps an eyeroll. "I suppose I am, but you may call me Phantom or Erik whatever you wish." he smiled gently and nosed Sekhmet as she got to his side, reassuring her and also telling her to play nice as it was Terentia was a guest. His silver orbs looked to Khet, with wide eyes and a bit of shock...though that was pretty much EVERY time he saw Khet. He never really got over Khet's childishness, he assumed it would grow out of him. However it hadn't yet.
Erebus emerged from the distance like the dark prince that he was. His head stood tall, his eyes narrowed in a seductive and devious manner. His walk was a saunter, as if too show off every muscle that rippled through his body. He and Ares were the same heigth and the tallest among the brothers. Atum coming in second and Aureate not even half a hand below. Isis held her ground either way. It was a tough family. His electric eyes were a charge and he gave Khet a warning look to shut up or be beaten, he couldn't give a damn if the rest of the family was around. "Mother," he said in a monotone voice. "Unfortunately my dear brother Set will not be able to make it...and if he does will be late. He has other things to do." By that he meant he was playing with his toy or training with the kalona. Erebus looked at the female a bit with disgust, she looked weak, he wondered how many minutes it would take for him to break her...he was getting good at it. He saw Nebu in the distance, a recluse he was. Then again he didn't care much.
Ares looked at Erebus warning him, he wouldn't mind beating up his wise a** younger half brother. He had done it before he would do it again. He needed it the egotistical son of a ...he was soon cut off by his thoughts as he was reminded Tere was beside him. It felt wrong to have these sorts of thoughts with her so close..

A smile came onto Terentia's face as Keht came rushing over to her she laughed slightly at how fast he was talking. It reminded her a bit about her father with her younger sister how his words echoed through her head now.
'Hey-no-males-getting-close-to-my-little-princess's-there-mine-and-no-one-elses-here-me-so-you-too-better-be-careful-if-a-tall-dark-shady-guy-starts-taking-to-you-and-he-tells-you-to-come-with-him-dont-be-scared-to-kick-him-in-the-nose-then-tell-daddy-he-will-kill-him-for-you-my-lovloes ;-;'
This thought made Terentia think for a moment as she side glancesd at Ares.
... Tall.... yes
...Dark... even more yes.
... Shady.... hmmm >.<;
.. Guy.. hahmmm
...Tells you to come with him... god I just spent last night at his teepee my poor father will be having a heartattck if he knew >.<;;
A small sweatbeed appeared at the side of her face before she snapped back hearing the male talk. "These I have many wings... I have them on my feet too you see." she smiled and raised one of her back feet to show it to him.
"The Phantom.... o.o" she blinked why was that? I mean he doesnt look all that scary so why did he have such a odd name. She could imagine the black clouds rolling at his feet. Erik seemed the more friendly option but if that was his title. "Its nice to meet you Mr. Phantom infact its nice to meet all of you. My name is Terentia Rafealo from the Imp Clan." she smiled and tilted her head in a sweet foal like mannor.
She turned around to here Erebus talk about a Set. There were more wow this family was so big she loved it. Her family was only small from what she had seen but she was a decendent of Reaper and the Trio... the family was huge and apparently it was not too nice in some strings but the members Tere knew seemed nice... just scared.... perfect suffering? she thought before putting a smile back on her face not wanting to be rude to the others.

They were late- he of all of his siblings! was going to be late- it was unforgivable. Isis? Sure, she didn't seem to like them anyway? Atum, less likely, but entirely possible. But HIM? Aureate was demanding and continuously curious, and he always wanted to see, know and do before everyone else.
Hell, the first thing he had tried to do after leaving his basket was FLY!
"Hurry up girls!" He ordered as he folded his wings and dove out of the sweet blue of the sky, unerringly headed for the clearing in which his family was meeting. He could see his sire and dam easily, and the spread of his siblings made a perfect bull's-eye.
"INCOMING!" He sang with a laugh, snapping his wings open enough to slow and control his dive. He landed unerringly on all four's taking a few prancing steps that ended in a rear.
"Stars and SeaBreezes, sorry father." He rumbled as he trotted over to nuzzled Erik and Sekhmet in greeting. "Mother... You know I never... Nevermind. It's wonderful to see you, and forgive me for being late... We got off to a bit of a late start, and with Masque..."
Reaching out with one wing, he tapped Atum in greeting, his smile widening as he took in Khet. "Brother mine, it has been too long."
Isis he bowed deeply to. "My Sister..."
"The girls will be along shortly." He added as an after thought. As his eyes moved around the group they came to rest on Ares and Terentia, a smile curling across his black muzzle. "Elder Brother... Is this the lovely lady?"
After hovering over her sister to make sure Masque would make the proper turn, Kaishara set her heart on speed and darted after father.
"Hurryhurryhurryhurry." She sang under her breath as she neared the area she had seen him dive from. She overshot the mark a bit and had to bank sharply, spiraling down rather than doing a death-drop dive like the one her Sire favored.
She could do it when daddy wasn't around... 'Do as I say, not as I do, Princess...'
The thought made her smile as she came to a gliding landing at the edge of the clearing, in the air one moment and cantering on the grass the next. A few prancing strides saw her coming to a halt, a smile on her face and delight in her eyes. "Hello... Sorry... Masque will be along in a moment."
"One quick moment, I assure you." The groundwalker mare muttered tartly as she came cantering in a moment later.
She gave her father and elder sister a glance, one that roamed over th winged-ranks of her family. "What I wouldn't give for wings sometimes, Papa... Let me tell you."
She shook her lovely head then trotted toward her grandparents, performing a half rear to nuzzle Erik's cheek. Of the family, she was the baby, and the shortest of the lot. It didn't bother her, just made her feel protected when the others were around. "Grandpere, Grandmere... Bonjour, je t'aime..."

Erik looked to Masque and shook his head, "I would have it no other way 'zo ma petite," his thick accent coming to the surface. He was so proud of Masque and her name delighted him, his little bird Kai was a beauty too she would have to watch out for those males. He chuckled at Aureate and his lateness, "Out of you three I would've expected you to be first my son." he head butted him a bit. "But it was Isis and Ares who came first," he eyed him, he wondered how Aureate and Isis' relationship was faring. "Terentia, it is a pleasure to 'ave you here.
Isis looked at Aureate as he bowed and she bowed her head to him. She watched him, "Tis a pleasure to see you again Aureate." Isis could only watch Erebus wearily, there was no telling what that young stallion would do. He was so angsty and even more cold hearted than his mother but so beautiful that it made her sick.
Ares snorted at Aureate, "Lovely lady meaning what?" he had often made snide comments about Aureate breeding with two different mares only because he knew it bothered him. Ares had never thought of having kids though he as a softie for them. He saw Terentia eyeing him and he hadn't a clue what she was thinking, but she seemed to be enjoying this mad house.

"Cousins!!!" Khet raced over to Kai and Masque, giving them both a nuzzles before tugging on Kai's hair. "Wanna go fly? I'll race ya!" Khet egerly trotted on the spot. Everything was a game to him.
Sekhmet nodded to Erebus to acknowledge him though she looked disappointed that Set would probably not be coming...One god damn day.....She'd yell at him later. She snapped out of that thought when Aureate nuzzled her. She of course returned the nuzzle. He was her son after all.
Atum slowly walked up to Terentia, smiling and bowing to her. "I am Atum, dear lady. You have ummm...Met my son Khet...Not too sure if the rest of the family will join. 'Naci is busy, Naika has her stallion and Fen has been seen with a mare as of late-"
'BROTHER HAS A GIRLFIREND!" Khet howled at the thought.
Atum let out a sigh at his son's outburst. He was so embarrassing some times. "And because you haven't probably noticed him, that's Nebu," Atum jerked his head in the direction of his youngest golden masked brother. "Over there. Don't take it as an offense if he doesn't say hi or really come near here. He's never been much of a talker or really one for the masses."

Terenita smiled at Eirk's words she was glad she was welcome. "Thank you, I am glad to be here and to meet everyone. I have to admit I did not expect such a big turn out. I hope to get to know you all as time goes by." she nodded. The family really was something to be amazed at and for the most part they all seemed friendly and good hearted. Even the quiet ones did not have a particulally bad aura around them
She caught hear of Khet as he shouted a wide smile comming onto her face. "Really congrarulations love is a great thing. Which brother? and who is the lucky mare <33?" she asked as she tilted her head once again totally oblivious to the situations.
She then herd the mention of the other as she tunrf around to see Nebu in the trees. She gave him a quick bow and smile before looking at the other three who had just joined them it was going to be hard to keep up with names but she was sure she was able to manage, she just didnt really know were to put herself at the moment she felt s little overwhelmed.

"Je vous ai manqués ainsi le grand-père!" Masque crooned delightedly as she nuzzled him before moving to greet Sekhmet, her grandmother. "Il est joli de vous voir de nouveau la grand-mère."
She eyed the newcommer who stood beside Ares with interest and laughed at Khet. "I don't know if now is the best time for a race, Khet... We're suppossed to be having a family reunion of sorts, non?"
"Ares was born first... And this party is all for him anyway..." Aureate shrugged with a wink of a mirth-filled eye. "And as I said, we were delayed briefly with Tashika... Nothing to be concerned about... And I am here now, at any rate."
He turned to his sister and bowed to her. "And you, Sister... I am glad you are well."
Aureate smiles at Ares with a fluff of his wings. "A little bird told me this and that, mon frère... Ne sentez pas de honte. Votre Lady est Jolie, très jolie."
Kaishara folded her wings to her back and shot her grandsire another smile. He was perhaps her favorite member of her often-scattered family... At least outside of her sire, sister, and step-mother. Erik was the patriarch of their line... The reason she lived for music, soared with song. The reason she sang and flew and was.
The new mare she eyed carefully, noting the inherent kindness. She'd heard her uncle could be a little bit of a pain at times, but Ares seemed to care what this stranger thought of the family, and surely that was the first sign he was conscious of her feelings! After all, it would be rather peculiar to introduce someone to one's family if one did not plan on that person remaining in one's life...
Wouldn't it?
