Namesake IRUSAN: King o' the Cats and Lord of Felines in various folk legends.
He's a very large cat — and when we say 'large' we're talking size-of-a-cow. He lived a regal life of royal splendour in a cave near Knowth on the Boyne, attended by fawning felines and kitty minions.
If you think this all sounds cute, be warned. One day, Senchan, the Chief Bard of Ireland, mocked him in a poem — and was never heard from again.
So it is best to err on the cautious side and regard IRUSAN as no Earthly type of mog.

Personality Baby: Irusan is curious about his surroundings but a little wary of strangers. He's never far from his mother who has managed not to hurt him yet by falling over him, though there have been close calls.
Teen: By now Irusan has learned to speak, rather well too. He's still curious about everything but now he's more than willing to go poke around and explore. Dierdre has to keep a close eye on him so he dosen't just wander off on her. Again. She drags him to work with her most days, making him carry her stuff, though he grumbles the entire way and acts like he's somehow a martyr for this he does it every day, no matter how many times Dierdre tell him he can stay behind.

Rider Name: Dierdre
Physical: A young twenties girl, more of a sprite than anything. She stands just shy of five feet with large dark eyes. They're brown but with undertones of red matching her mulitcolored hair; blonde, gold, copper and red, usually left in messy loose waves, or pulled back into a ponytail. Dierdre has an average body, bordering on slender and willowy, making her quick but not terribly strong, the snag is that she tends to be graceless, because part of the time she's lost in her own mind, and her natural lack of coordination, and she just has that kind of luck. Things tend to just end up under her feet. Which is part of the reason she was so shocked to receive an egg. She has the ability to look polished and elegant, but rarely takes the time, less so once she got her egg.
Mental: Dierdre tends to seem flighty, mostly because she's so often in her own mind. She has the bad habit of not paying attention to her surroundings if something else even remotely catches her attention. Loyal to a fault to her friends and prone to making snap judgements about people, usually in their favor. She likes to believe the best in everyone, even the Drake Clan. As a new member of the Spirit clan she's still trying to sort out her opinion of things, expecially the animosity between the clans.
History: Dierdre worked as a designer under a larger label and always made known that she wanted a dragon of her own. She grew up with Reis' rider as a childhood friend and supporter. He didn't always understand her love of fashion, nor share her borderline obsession with dragons but he always supported her at least. With them now on opposite sides she dosen't know how to react. She always had a kind heart and a desire to do good for others, and watched the Spirit Clan with admiration for their deeds. While dragons were always worth more than just tools she infatuated enough with the Spirit clan to not notice their use of dragons.
