WARNING: the following post/topic contains large amounts of rant. Proceed with caution.
Oh, my, freeking, God, if one more person calls me a cat, I'm gunna scratch their eyes out! I've been wearing my ears and tail after school for the past two weeks, and I'm tired of people saying I'm a kitty cat! I'm not a kitty! I'm a wolfie! Not a cat, not a dog, a WOLF! A big fluffy canine of the wild! Not some domesticated cat! I spent a lot of time trying to get ears that weren't kitty ears, and a tail that wasn't a fox tail, yet I'm still getting called everything but a wolfie! I...am...a...wolf! I know there aren't a lot of girl wolfies(I've noticed that most wolf furries tend to be male), but I am a wolfie!

I must confess, I 've not really been confused. Then again I've only known like...three people in the fandom IRL my entire life? Not many people discuss it in these parts.

I'm a girl wolfy! 4laugh And I know how you feel, people call my friend who is a fox, a cat like all the time. It annoys her to no end, but everyone seems to know I am a wolf. It must be the ears. >.>

Oh wow Atsu, that reminded me of the old ladies in the cartoon movies that would sit in the park and throw bread to pidgeons and go like "Here pidgey-pidgey." xD
Still no referrence to calling Sunny a pidgeon though. @.@

How can someone seriously mistake a cat and a fox? It's like:
-Shows person a drawing of my little fox chibi-
"Oh! What a cute little kitty~!!!"
"It's a freaking fox, not a cat -.-''
But yes, it seriously annoys me.

Recently on IMVU I have been called a cat. 10 times in one day...
What happened to switch it around?!
Azuna looks nothing like a cat! Her avi here or there.

Hmm, I sense a failure of perception in the common populous... *sighs* Ah well, I suppose all we can do is persevere, niet? Good luck to all those whom the masses mistake for something else.
