http://dragcave.net/user/Hakumeithis person got a neglect dragon but I dont know how they got it sad I want one... EDIT: have you noticed that it only had 1 day as a hatchling?

Since it was quite a while ago, I can't remember how I got it.
I think it used to be a caveborn egg, though.

Yup.
View the date, June 12, 2007. That was 1.5 years ago, when the site first opened.
Back then, those were cave drops, as the owner said, and it only took a day for dragons to grow up.
Look at the scrolls for other older people, and you'll see that.
And I mean, the really old people.
I joined over a year ago now, and that was long fixed by then.

The chicken is an egg stolen from the cave. The neglected dragon was originally an egg in the cave. It has since been discontinued there. It is supposed to be possible to cause an egg to become neglected, but the way is secret and must be figured out by the scroll owner.

Beecher I feel like such a novice! We were all there once. Just do yourself a favor and don't ask how to get a particular dragon, especially over at DragCave Forum. Asking that question is against the rules.

I've never seen the vampire one before ... that sounds interesting.
The neglect, I always thought, was by having your egg sickly, but not killing it, and maintaining that for hatchlings. I remember that was how people told me it was done when I joined, but I haven't kept track of changes since then, and I've been playing for over a year.
