What would you do...
I liked a friend,
and apparently he's liked me for some time too.
Then we were close and pretty much kissed while we were hanging out with some friends.
Then he said he didn't want to be in a relationship, he wasn't up to it.
It's been MONTHS and I've always wondered why he.. didn't let things continue since things didn't really start and there wasn't anything to break.
His best friend whose my friend hinted at me that he did it for another reason that he can't say because it would ruin his friend.
Well I finally asked today and he said that I'd get mad if he told me (which it's almost impossible to get me mad, trust me).
Apparently, he already had a girlfriend and I was the girl he was cheating with.
I never thought I'd be the girl that a guy would cheat with.
Now I have this sick feeling that I've both been cheated on (with an older relationship) and cheated with. I mean, I didn't know his girlfriend or anything, but still. What do you do?

Well, there's not much you can do. He didn't kiss you right? So then you didn't do it. It's not your fault girl. You didn't know. Besides, nothing really happened. If you didn't go around kissing and holding hands, then I would have to say you are more then in the clear. Just know now for future reference not to go out with that particular guy. ^_~

yah karu its not you fault the guy was hiding something from you that he shouldve i mean he did say that he didnt want a relationship..and now months later you find out that hes been cheating on her with you...to me thats low...even for him (and i dont even know him >.<) but anyways yah you shouldnt feel that guilty about it since you didnt know the butthead was keeping anything from you but i guess it just goes to show you cant trust everyone you meet >.<

And that's exactly why I feel horrible, we DID do that stuff >_> We were good friends before he did that to me which is why I never thought he'd be THAT bad.

I can understand you feeling guilty about it. No matter which way you look at this, the fault lies with him, not you. How could you have possibly known? He lied and kept the truth from you at the time while it was going on. That was a terrible thing to do to you. He should be the one feeling guilty knowing what he was doing and letting it continue on. In a way, he betrayed you both. He took advantage of your trust and friendship and her's. By no means is this your fault. The only reason to feel guilty is if you had done it knowingly or if you let it continue on now that you do know the truth.

your welcome karu^^ and lenelees right if you knew that he was doing that then you shouldnt feel guilty about it just cause the butthead didnt tell you about that other girl which in turn was his fault for the whole mess in the first place he shouldve just chose which one of you he wanted to date...instead of this..and for doing what he did he was a fool
