The guild has become complacent. What once was a place booming with imagination is now ghost town with little to offer. To remedy this I will destroy this place, topic by topic. Those who wish to oppose me, do so, your reasons are your own. Those who will join me must be willing to confront their most beloved RPs. When we are finished with our retribution the guild shall be remade, from the ashes, into our paradise.

Each Sub-forum is like its own kingdom. Each topic inside the sub-forums is its own reality. To destroy these places we must find the center feature in its reality. A building it all takes place in, an item the entire RP revolves around, anything that sets that thread apart from the others must be purged...even if it's the very people inside it. Beware, participants may be forced to fight and perhaps kill themselves in those realities. First we must put the Sub-forums to flame by burning every thread inside of it. We will methodically destroy one sub-forum at a time until there are none left, and then we will set our sights on the main forum, where reality is more difficult to imagine.

Those who join must use their real avatar names and characters. For example, I would use Kynum, wielder of blades. We are not regular humans, our power extends well beyond physical boundaries. Therefore we must execute this in the most epic manner possible. Battles will range from ground-level to above the skyscrapers. Physics are highly bendable.
NOTE: THIS IS IN FACT AN RP! I HAVE NO DESIRE TO ACTUALLY DESTROY THE GUILD VIA MALICIOUS INTENT SUCH AS COMPUTER VIRUSES AND STUFF.

Each topic has its own focal point which must be made to discontinue existence in some fashion. If it's a building, explosives work pretty well, but we try to use as much style as possible. Extra points for style biggrin ! Maybe your character is feasibly strong enough to slash or punch through support points to make it collapse, remember we can bend physics to a very high extent. For example, Kynum isn't technically strong enough to put much of an impact in a building. He may be able to go through a wall, but nothing terribly awesome. However with his extensive training with blades he may be able to slash through many things including support structures, but even that has its limit. And when it's over...strike a pose! biggrin . Try not to steal everyone's thunder, though. Work together, both those for and against this Armageddon.

We begin in nothingness. Kynum stands, with his arms crossed, on the floor of the ever extending white. Well...it's a floor as much as a floor can be in nothingness. His shadow further denotes the existence of a "floor". Other than that there's nothing, but almost blinding white. He waits for something to ignite the struggle. A companion? An enemy? He'll take either...

After waiting for what could have been minutes or years (it was difficult to tell in this nullspace) Kynum felt the need to begin the rebirth. He uncrossed his arms and sighed, looking upward with closed eyes..........
.............................
... He faded suddenly from existence....

...to appear again like condensing smoke. He opened his eyes slowly. Around him was a nullspace, much like the previous one. Completely white and boundless. The difference about this place, though, was that the feeling of time was apparent once more. He knew this place...

Spread the Joyness, in the Announcements sub-forum.

There was no-one around except for a single figure. The image of Margem stood silently and statically with an outstretched arm. She had an open palm of welcoming facing toward the only piece of apparent landscape in this nullspace. To some it may have looked like http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/index.php?gmode=index&guild_id=5741. , but in this reality it was a wooden plank bridge. It connected the two sides of a huge canyon. The nullspace began to render an image of itself. The canyon took on the rocky visage of ages of erosion by wind and water. Waist high grass grew on both sides of the edges of the canyon. This imagery made itself vivid as any reality can make it, but it stopped at a certain point. The grass gave way to the emptiness of the nullspace after a few paces away from the bridge.

((My character is ripped straight from a story I'm writing and subsequently an RP I might start, but meh. Shin is the son of flames, capable of creating, bending, distorting, and commanding fire as he pleases. Technically, he is a demon; to be more precise, he was given a new body after death by the devil. His new body appears very human, with the exception of his stark red eyes, but possesses superhuman strength and endurance. The nails at the end of Shin's fingers have also sharpened and hardened into claws. Shin fights with two massive swords: Hybris, (pronounced hee-bris) a red-and-black flat sword that serves to crush more than slash and can disappear into the flames surrounding Shin whenever he commands it, and Temperance, a more traditional horse-cutter that tapers to a point. Shin rarely uses Temperance, and he only ever uses one sword at a time.

Shin considers himself an evil person for things that happened in his backstory, and acts as an "enemy of justice." He believes that order is an illusion and that all things are destined to return to the abyss, and sees himself as a guiding force of entrophy.))

Kynum walked through the waist high grass. He stopped shortly where the grass met the bridge, to scan the landscape once more. No-one.
"Well, this sub-forum's going to be easy to destroy."
Kynum began to cross the wooden plank bridge, being careful to keep his hands on the rope supports. The only thing that seemed to be the focal point of this reality was the statue, so...

Shin lay prostrate, his face down against the ground. Without opening his eyes, Shin felt the area around him; it was devoid of air, heat, or life. The crimson-haired demon opened his eyes and turned his head to get a better look. Everything around him was black, except a white circle illuminated around him.
"So you can sleep, even at such a time."
The voice seemed to be everywhere, but coming from nowhere. Shin got to his feet and dusted his black-and-red vest off.
"What makes this time special? Aren't I free to sleep when I want?" Shin called back, not fully certain where to direct his voice.
"A time when stillness will turn to ruin, and ruin, to rebirth, does not seem like a time that an agent of hell should be slumbering." The voice retorted. Shin couldn't figure out if it was male or female. He wasn't even sure he heard it at all; it was almost as if the words visualized themselves inside his own head.
"Alright, alright. You want me to go brutalize someone or something so they'll leave this world alone. Can I go out of this abyss now?" Shin said, ever impatient.
"How grand of you to use that word, abyss." The voice smugly replied. "Fight, hate-filled demon. Fight, and be consumed."
"Hey, you can stop with the cryptic bullsh-" Shin was cut short by the floor below him opening up explosively and light surging forth from the opening. Shin was forced to cover his eyes and all of his senses were overtaken.

Shin regained self-awareness in a grassy field. The sky around it was pure white, lacking any depth or detail. Before him yawned a massive canyon, spanned by a rickety wooden bridge.
"This is it? Is this even worth rebuilding?" Shin pondered aloud.

Kynum heard an exasperated voice behind him as he was crossing the bridge to the other side of the canyon.
"Oh, don't worry. There's much, much more..." Kynum said in response, turning his gaze backward to the voice while still keeping his hands on the ropes.
"...And it's all for us to take! It may look like nothing now, but once the deed is complete, it will be paradise once more!"
Kynum continued spanning the bridge to the unmoving statue of Margem.

Shin listened to the man shouting about rebirth and steadily plodding along towards a large statue of a nice-looking woman.
"Darn fanatics." Shin muttered to himself, taking long strides over to the bridge. "What exactly are you trying to say?"
PostPosted: Sun Oct 11, 2009 2:10 pm

Kynum stopped his trek on the bridge to fully turn back to the newcomer. Kynum wore a perplexed frown on his face as he asked,
"Wh...Well, don't you know? We have to destroy everything of the guild. All of it has slowly coagulated to this frozen state!" Kynum indicated, with a gesture, the non-moving statue-esque form of Margem welcoming newcomers to the guild.

"So you'd just crush things that aren't up to your standards? That doesn't impress me much." Shin scowled. He vaguely motioned to the bridge. "That looks pretty flammable. I wouldn't anger me if I were you."
PostPosted: Sun Oct 11, 2009 2:36 pm

"What, is it up to your standards, then?" Kynum grinned with the words he spoke, keeping an eye on the newcomer's hands.

Shin grinned. "Devoid of humans...while it may be quiet, a world without man is a safe one indeed. And here you are, to entice man back here? You're just dooming it to the same fate again."
