The Merry Bones
The Fox manned (and womaned!)ship the Merry Bonnes is indeed as it sounds, a rather merry ship, but don't let the facade fool you! The Merry bones is a rich ship always full to the brim with plunder. Her berth is the mysterious 'Fox Isle' Far to the north of The port of Anthros though she is often seen sailing heavy in the water, docking in the Port of Anthros stocking up on food and other such essentials **coughs**rum**coughs**

About The Captain

Dylan Foxglove has been known to be one of the odder captains sailing the seven seas. he has no accent, claiming to have been struck by a bad case of the booklearning when he was young, but he is ornery in a fight, and annoyingly sharp-witted to boot! He is loyal to his crew and trusts them with many tasks, however will only rarely ask the impossible of them. (He stopped asking it of them so often after seeing the results he got when telling them to aviod the rum in a bar.) Overall, however, he is not such a bad captain to work for!

Captain Foxglove patiently awaited his crew on the deck of The Merry Bones. He could not say what made him think he'd even get a new crew, surely his last crew had caused him enough heartache as they parted ways in their adventures. They had shared their victories, endured their failures, had saved each other lives in daring adventures, seen breathtaking vistas such as few had seen before, and then they left. They left him one by one, forging their futures or dying in battle, leaving him with the future he had chosen, and a shipful of memories. He didn't know why he didn't leave with the rest. But he supposed that with the amount of bloody-minded stubborness circulating in his family's genepool that it was very natural for him to continue to be a pirate, and just a little odd that he was bothering to even feel a twinge of regret. He had enjoyed watching his fox crew part ways with him, going about on their own adventures, and spinning their own tales. He was sure the new crew he was waiting to greet would be just as well, full of new hopes and promises, and hopefully less complaints about the grooming habits of bunkmates from the cleanlier pirates.

Mary RedWaters was wondering the port looking at each of the looming ships. As she progressed she noticed how full each ship looked, crew members hanging off masts and clambering about busily. Then she spotted a ship that looked desserted, she grinned to herself and ran up the plank onto deck spotting another fox dressed in fancy green clothes, he must be the captain. Mary ran up to him, " I assume you be Cap'n Foxglove? I be Mary Redwaters an I be wantin' to join your crew, sir." She bowed politely after this being a rather well brought up fox.

Captain Foxglove gave Mary an amiable nod, then asked "Why do you think I'd let you join? Prove to me you are not a romantically inclined softie, and I will let you aboard." He looked at the fox measuringly, seeing if she was strong enough for the life of a pirate.
