It has come to my attention that not a single person in this guild seems to have any idea how to react to me...At all. You know we really don't have to be antagonistic, opposing forces. We can get along but you need to meet me half way. It is to that end that I submit to you The Matasoga Care and Handling Guidebook.
So you'd like to own a Matasoga. Matasogas are not easy pets and are not recommended for inexperienced handlers. There are, however, little tricks that can make your Matasoga experience easier and more pleasant for you and your pet. Matasogas are very easily agitated by things that he feels are idiotic. Unfortunately, they tend to have a low threshold of what they consider to be idiotic. For these reasons, sooner or later his sense of humor will bite. When this biting (or snark, as we call it in the field) happens, don't panic. Do not attempt to snark back, as he will likely just snark harder. If the snark is really painful and unbearable, politely and civilly ask him to stop, using logic wherever you can. He will always back down and often slink away. There is another technique, recommended only for more advanced handlers and that is called "Ribbing." You can turn the snark around on him but (and this part is key) take it with a sense of humor and good naturedly (your tone here is important) rib him right back. You will notice that while he may still snark it will be a playful, usually relatively painless snark. This is how Matasogas communicate in the wild and how they play. Matasogas are not for everyone. If you encounter a Matasoga and feel that you are unable or unwilling to handle him properly, just stand perfectly still and ignore him. He may snark, but without further provocation he is unlikely to snark twice.
Now that I have given you all thorough advice on how to manipulate me do you think we can maybe just attempt to get along?

I had already figured all of this out though... and this is not meant as an offense in any way at all, but that little bit that you wrote made me laugh, really hard at that. The way you worded it was quite hilarious.

Other people seem to be having serious trouble understanding though. Hopefully, this will ease a few conflicts.

I'm very sure it will, although you are very blunt and state your opinion even were it isn't needed, you are not that hard to get along with. In many cases, it is fairly easy to have an ongoing conversation with you.

In many cases, it is fairly easy to have an ongoing conversation with you. I can be curmudgeonly at times, but only when I feel intellectual deprivation or a topic warrants it. You, have at least a normal ability to read people, a skill that (evidently) is in very short supply here. Anyway, please spread the word of this thread to other members. Even I am getting tired of all the bickering.

I have it bookmarked so I can link it at times when I feel it is needed, but I also know that those who need to see it will be able to, for it will most likely be on the front page for a bit of tomorrow.

Currently were I am it is 2:20am, as is for many others as well. I have noticed that the guild loses its activity around 12am(again, my time) Most of the members have gone to sleep, for they have work and school in the morning.

I have been staying up until 6-7am for the past 2 weeks, waiting to see if either of my parents will comment on it... They haven't. I guess as long as I do my schoolwork they don't give a s**t.
