starcraft,warcraft,halo,comand and conquer,company of heroes these are but a few examples of the games today.
This post is to meet other gamers, talk to other gamers and discuss anything about games you want to talk about don't be shy speak out to the guild cause we're all people of Gaia (^_^)
To start of I would like to introduce my self I'm November blues zOMG mercenary for higher, school kid and most importantly a full-time-gamer I like Real Time Strategy games like starcraft what games do you like ???

What would you do...
I've heard of Starcraft, played it a bit myself but not online with other players.
My brother however plays it.
I guess I'm more of into strategy games like Final Fantasy. But being a girl (even though my brother plays them as well XD) I like things like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon but only for a week.
So I guess I can say that strategy games keep my interest.
I love the Resident Evil series but I'm no good at the games so I've withdrawn to watching other people play it and I just read the books XD!

Er.. Karu? Final Fantasy games are not Strategy, they are RPG. I should know this because I have played nearly every single FF game in existence. 3nodding There are some FF Strategy games though, such as FF Tactics (PS1) and FF Tactics Advanced (GBA).
I, myself, am a RPG gamer. I do like some RTS and Shooter based games though. But, I LOVE level based RPG games. And, it's only natural that since I love level based RPG games so much, that Square Enix be my favorite gaming company. heart
I do own Starcraft, but, I do not play online. I do not like playing RTS games online. I also own Dawn of War and Dawn of War: Winter Assault. Very fun games.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that there are over 20 FF games out today. whee With more on the way. whee

What would you do...
The first Final Fantasy game I've played was Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced so I always get it mixed up for strategy XD
RPG would be my favorite as well, I remember some games that are old but very good. Chrono Cross and Legend of the Dragoons ESPECIALLY come to mind. Love those games with a passion, but we don't have them anymore which makes me very sad.
I liked the Fire Emblem games as well which are strategy if I'm correct.

I prefer rpgs doesn't matter what platform. i especially like old school rpgs. and not to be cocky but i am a master at them

back when i was littler i was a hardcore gamer (or at least to my brother) cause i used to play the playstation all the time whenever my parents would go out i would ask them if i could play the playstation and whatnot but anyways the games i would play would mostly be the kingdom hearts games both the first and second and the one for the gameboy as well and also the jak games as well (like jak and daxter, jak2, jak3, and jak combat races) but unforently we kinda lost our playstation 2 so i cant excatly play anymore until we get it back>.<

Umbra and I are both hard-core gamer geeks. I prefer RPGs mostly, specifically Final Fantasy. I also enjoy the Need for Speed series, DDR (dance dance revolution) the murder mystery games I play on the Wii (they need to make more!) and Nintendo of course.

..Sorry. XD I guess I got a little carried away. I am a hardcore FF fan. I nearly let out a fanboy scream when I saw the trailer for FFXIII @_@

WOO. Video games!
I have never really played Final fantasy. I think the closest to those i got was a demo for FF7, but that is irrelevant.
I dont really know what genre games i tend to follow. I like to play games like Legend of zelda, metriod prime series, need for speed underground(both 1 and 2), and all of the older marios that were on the NES and SNES. And i do pick up a pokemon game once in a while. Unfortunately, with school work, working, homework, and gaia. I have not been able to get back to any games for the past 2 months. But that will be great for me, i get better at games if i dont play them for a while.

So, Phoenix, I think I know what Genres you would follow. Judging from the games you listed, I would say.. Action/Adventure/Racing. 3nodding

I think about everyone loves the Final Fantasy series.
It's just a well made game that's been put a lot of time and effort, and the games never let you down.
No worries Pistl, Square Enix, in my opinion, is the best company out there that produces games due to it's quality.
My favorite games from back when was from Square Enix (though I also knew them as Square Soft and even just plain out Square)
Metroid Prime was fun, it's just it was also a shooter type game which made me uneasy. I'm not good at shooter games at all. I played it very much and loved it with a passion, though, my brother always got motion sickness from playing that game so sometimes I would play for him.

my fave games are the old skool mario games, pokemon, an rock band/ guitar hero (even tho i am not that good...) and I have a DS, a Wii and an n64
