"Criofan, what are you doing now?" Whether it had been almost a year and a half or not, Texas still couldn't quite process Criofan's mannerisms. Why was he sitting on the floor surrounded with piles of piles of random things that shined? As an adult, didn't he get some kind of life beyond shinies?

"Ah, Texas! Well, what does it look like ta' ya'?" With a wink, Criofan laid back in the pile of shiny objects and let out a sigh. He was a leprechaun. Being greedy was built into his blood, even if Texas could do nothing but roll his eyes.

Of course, Texas wasn't exactly in the mood to stop him either. There was no good reason to, anyway. Let the leprechaun have his fun... even if they were in the middle of the Pae'il Headquarters. "Well, have fun there. I'm just going to go back to the Pae'kippu Beach now." Criofan only vaguely waved over his shoulder and Texas strolled out of the room and to his destination.

Finally, he was alone! Not that having Texas around particularly mattered, but it was certainly easier to roll around in shinies and screech happily like an idiot if no one was bothering him. And he did just that for a few moments, before lying flat on his back and laughing hysterically. Ah, he loved life.

Okay, there were a few things missing from his life, but it was nothing that shiny objects couldn't replace, right? Who needed romance anyway? Criofan had quickly realized that such pursuits were annoying and well useless, though he supposed situations could change. Either way, it was certainly easier to pursue brilliant objects without matters of the heart.

It was also a bit more fun to live a solitary life with only family as friends. After all, the less people who knew of his true trickery, the less who could foil him. After all, the people who owned these belongings certainly couldn't've seen his trick from even a centimeter away. Criofan stroked some of his new belongings with a tender smile on his face, almost seeming to have affection for the shiny objects that most would place in a pet or even a good friend. Gold and silver were certainly some of Criofan's best friends.

The leprechaun hummed to himself while stroking various pieces of shiny objects. In some ways, it was silly. In others, it was perfectly Criofan... even if he was lying in the middle of the Pae'il Headquarters in a pretty easy to access room...

Erylia brushed her long golden hair in the mirror, bright amethyst eyes gleaming brighter then any known jewel to the world. With a slim body of a barrage of colors, she was easily seen as one of the two mardi gras demonics of the pae island. She reached to the side and picked up a glittering silver necklace, the one she had worn for years. So long, she almost forgot time to time how she came across it.

"Erylia?"

She sighed at Tartara's voice, pulling her eyes away from the mirror to eye her sick mother in bed. Ever since Zana grew to an adult, the woman had never been in full health. "Yeah, yeah. Hold on. I'm going." Not that the pink demonic was anywhere in sight now a days. Leaving her to bring her mother water every once in a while and do the chores. Not to mention, carry her outside twice every two weeks. The adult pae swiftly crossed the room to the door, exiting out into the hallway. A hand reached up to her golden bangs, shifting fingers through the soft locks. It wasn't like she minded going to get water. In fact, it was her only excuse anymore on getting out of the room. Pae activity seemed to drag to an almost halt in the past few months. She sighed and headed down the hallway. It was just...so...boring. Erylia rounded a corner, idly thinking of past parties to amuse her mind during the trip. The most fun she ever really had was at that Halloween bash a year back, though everything was a blur. Did she have any of that spiked punch?

"What does it matter?" She uttered softly, shaking her head. Another corner. It was a stupid party. As she recalled, that night she almost gave her heart to- the female stopped, sharp ears hearing a sort of...screeching coming from a room. She drifted over to where the sounds came from, putting her ear to the door. Was that in pain or...glee? Either way, she HAD to be a part of it! Any sort of commotion was entertainment! Her hand found the cool doornob of the door and twisted it as she pushed forwards, eyes fixating on the source of the previous noise before. Oh...no. "...Criofan."

Erylia was one of the few people who was ever capable of making Criofan jump in surprise, and even now it seemed to remain the same. He suddenly dropped a particularly shiny piece of jewelry he was stroking and instead turned around with widen eyes. Who was in his room, bothering him?! Never mind the fact that it wasn't his room, it was for the moment...

He hardly seemed to calm when he realized who it was. Erylia?! He hadn't seen her in ages! When he looked up to her, he became even more flabbergasted. When did she get to be an adult? How quickly had time gone by? It had only been a few months since he had seen her last, right? Maybe the leprechaun was over-thinking things.

Criofan scrambled to his feet and attempted to get the strange expression of shock off his face. "Erylia! What a surprise!" It was a bit odd that he was actually being honest about something being a surprise, but then again, he was honestly surprised. Currently ignoring the tense air, he commented, "Ya' look older."

It was a bit hard to tell if he meant that in a good way, a neutral way, or a bad way. His expression had become more curious than anything else while he still tried to recover from the surprise.

Two...three...four months since she saw him last? She was just a teen then, foolishly trying to tempt him with promises of a treasure she knew didn't exit. She let a small smile on her lips as she nodded. Still she could make the boy jump in surprise. Good. "Its been a while." All at once she was suddenly embarrased about the piece of jewelry around her neck. Then was embarrassed that she had been. If she wanted to wear a necklace, she was going to wear a necklace. Wasn't like he'd remember where it was from. Or that this room wasn't too far from the one where they had first met. "What do you got there?" Never for a minute did she show what she was thinking, maintaining her old cool, almost flirtatious tone.

Criofan definitely recognized that jewelry. It was a shiny object. How could he possibly forget it? Upon noticing it, a smug smirk crossed his face briefly before he settled back into the contemplative expression he had before. "Quite." Something felt odd about the air around them, but Criofan wasn't one to care all that much. After acknowledging it, he began to ignore it as if nothing had happened at all.

"Ah've got shiny things, a'course. Valuables an' other such expensive things." The leprechaun gestured to the pile he had just been rolling around and screeching in. "Ah... removed these belongin's from people who're too stupid ta' see what's goin' on under their noses! Bunch of eejits." Criofan snickered under his breath, a bit of that smugness from just a few seconds earlier returning to his face.

"An' what brings ya' here?"

Typical Criofan. He hadn't changed a bit. Feeling relieved, she sashayed over to the male to crouch beside him. Close, but not too close. He hadn't grown up. She was safe. "I was getting a glass of water when I heard this peculiar...screech." Erylia lightly inspected each object with her eyes, knowing better then to touch one of the Leprechans beloved shinies. "How do you plan on moving all of these undetected?" It was dangerous being around him, she knew. But this was the most interesting thing she had found in weeks. Besides, she was older. She knew better now.

While it may have not seemed that way, Criofan had certainly settled into his adult role. While he had been an adult last time he saw her, now he had settled just a bit more, seeming more collected than he ever had been just months ago. "Ah, wata'? Well, ya' come ta' the right place, anyway. Ah believe there's a sink over there." He pointed behind him, and indeed, there was a porcelain sink. It seemed that he had settled in a kitchen.

"How do Ah plan on transportin' it? Ah, that's an easy one. Ah'll just use Aysu's bag while she's not payin' attention." Though he did seem relatively cool and collected despite the conflicts they tended to get into when one or both of them were teenagers, his mind was buzzing with thoughts. Erylia was older. She didn't seem as extreme anymore. Did she change? Did she change so much that what interested Criofan in the first place was gone, or did she change to the extent where she was no longer as annoying but still interesting? Hm. While Criofan didn't particularly care for matters of the heart, he was still plenty curious.

Her eyes glanced up where he pointed, making a mental note to get a glass of water before leaving the room. "The bag will fit them all?" She guestured offhandedly to the pile of shinies infront of the two pae. "I could offer my services, should you need another hand." Everything was very uninterested sounding, though in reality she mentally held her breath. Which was silly really. Why did she care if he took her help or not? Was she that desperate for companionship other then her mothers? Her behaviour in the past ten minutes was rather disgraceful, just short of begging for recognition. Thank the goddess she had practiced her tone and mannerisms enough to give off whatever facade she so wished.

Criofan shook his head. "Not exactly. The guardians gave 'er the bag. Basically, ya' can pull anything ya' want out of it. So, if Ah swipe the bag, Ah kin wish for all the items Ah stole an' then pull them out." The leprechaun offered a toothy grin to Erylia. It turned out that he probably wouldn't need her help because the task was so simple, though he certainly found it interesting she was offering to help him. When was the last time she did that?

Scratch that, when had she ever done that?

"Buh Ah suppose ya' could hang out for a bit anyway." He was a bit interested to see if anything else about Erylia had matured, beside for her attitude and, most obviously, her physical appearance.

Stupidstupidstupidstupidstupid! The female mentally barraded herself as she smiled at Criofan. "Intriguing bag. Your sister must have gained the gaurdians favor." The female reached up to tuck a piece of golden hair behind a pointy ear, her tail giving a single flick. He was tossing her a bone? The realization almost made her blush again. Almost. She was being so foolish today. And now even criofan seemed to realize it. Or just plain intrigued by her odd behaviour. "And what would we be doing, granted I did come along?"

Criofan shrugged. Honestly, he hadn't anything further in mind besides rolling around in his shinies some more and perhaps attempting to fool his ridiculous younger brother Magnus Vis by posing as a girl and joining his silly little 'harem' idea. ...Wait a second. That was perfect. It was just devious enough to work if Erylia hadn't lost all that made her fun.

"Well, Ah did have a li'l somethin' in mind. 'haps ya' could help. See, my eejit brother Magnus has decided that he wants a bunch a' girls o' somethin'. Ah was goin' ta' pose as a woman and play 'long, see how long Ah could keep 'im tricked. If ya're interested, perhaps ya' might want ta' help out?" The leprechaun gained a devious grin so characteristic of the adult fae.

It was certain; Criofan was still a tricky leprechaun, even if his ideas had gotten a bit more complicated. To the leprechaun fae, that just made life more interesting. Now, would Erylia agree or was she more inclined to get the water and leave him to his own devices? Admittedly, a partner in crime wouldn't be a bad idea, as solo of a creature as he was, at least in this case, but he would manage either way.

Slowly, very slowly, the female began to grin as Criofan unfolded his devious plan. Finally, something else besides a boring date dinner or the like! Partly why she indulged in Criofans company more then any other guys. "Could prove fun. When do we start?" No questions about what she would be doing. No concerns about who else might be involved. She never really cared about self image to other pae anyway. Her amythist eyes gleamed slightly above her almost devilish grin.

It looked like he was going to have a partner in crime today. This could prove advantagious. After all, Criofan was not particularly feminine-looking no matter which way one looked at him, even though his features were softer than those of the average demonic Pae'il. "Well, Ah was gonna' get this stuff back to my place first, but it'll be safe 'ere. 'less ya' got a better place to put it.

Hopefully, she did have a bit of a better place to set it. The leprechaun didn't care much either way, but at the same time, the leprechaun didn't particularly want all of the things he had snatched to end up getting stolen back by those who originally owned the objects. That would be awful, although getting the items back would not be too terrible. "Either way, afta' that we need ta' get some good costumes."

It did sound like a great deal of fun, since she always did like playing a seductive type role. Not that she wasn't aware that she fairly oozed sexuality anyway with her new curvatious body and silken hair. Another place to put his stuff? "Well, there is always my stash room...if you're interested." She didn't even mind showing Criofan himself it, dispite how many treasures he'd be drawn to. They were all gotten on a mere whim, mainly gifts from pae at parties or the occasional pretty thing she fancied at the moment. The only real important piece was the one she never let go of. "Should only be a three minute walk from here."

While Criofan was a tricky type and did love taking others' belongings, there was no good reason to take Erylia's things... yet. For all he knew, she could very well give him a reason to place her on his mental list of 'people that are eligible to have their stuff stolen' later, but for the moment, Erylia needn't worry. The leprechaun shrugged. "Sounds good ta' me, as long as putting my stuff in ya' room doesn't make it yaurs." He winked at the demonic before heading over to the sink.

Not letting her have a chance to question why he would head over to the sink, he leaned over and snatched a cloth bag out from behind the sink. After pausing briefly in his leaned over position, he swirled around and headed back to his pile of stuff, only to begin scooping some of the shiny objects in it. "This'll make it easier ta' transport. All we hafta' do now is drag this bag down the hallway." If the bag was big enough. It seemed Criofan was having trouble fitting everything, but he was never one to accept help.

As he crammed everything he could in the bag, he asked, "Ya' keep collectin' stuff over the years, or is this stuff all things ya' have from bein' little, like that necklace ya' wearin'?" It was a subtle way of pointing out that he had indeed noticed the necklace. A grin tugged at the corner of his lips when he remarked on it, but he said nothing to hint on what exactly he felt towards the necklace in a very typically Criofan O'Kane manner.
