Name: Moriko Faye Kuze Nickname: Mori, Hime-chan (princess) Age: 18 Hair: Long brown Eyes: Deep green/ left has crimson spots (partial heterochromia) Race: Human Purity: Pure-blood Marital Status: Single Occupation: Student Weapon/Power: Dagger and magic spells/charms
Random Info: Grew up with her father, who raised her by himself after her mother died. Coming from a noble pure-blood family, she grew up in a wealthy enviroment- large home, servants, etc... She basically never had to worry about a thing. She decided she wanted to attend C.M.A (Crimson Moon Academy) because she was tired of staying home all the time.
Other: She wears a moonstone cross with sapphire stones decorating it. It belonged to her mother, and is supposed to be a good-luck charm. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Draqx Smith Nickname: Draqx, "the M.A.D. Scientest", "That guy in the labcoat" Age: Appears mid-20s, but has been around a lot longer, some rumors say that he has been around since the academy was started, maybe as a founder, a teacher, or as one of the first students, but none can say for sure, and when asked about it the only answer is a shrug of the shoulders Hair: Long M.A.D. Scientest style hair, that no matter how damaged by experiments is somehow the same as it was the next class. Eyes: Hazel, a mix of brown, blue, green, grey, and arranged to seem to change dominance depending on some things. Race: Human Purity: uncertain due to the amount of experiments run causing side effects, thought to have been at one time Pure Strain Human ( PSH ) but now classified as changed, in what way no one knows, but most agree that at least his non-aging and his ability to bounce back after experiments means that his is not quite human anymore. Marital Status: Single Occupation: Teacher, sciences and inter disiplinary classes Weapon/Power: Inventions and Science ( notably enhanced via tools and supplys )
Random Info: Draqx has been teaching at the CMA for a long time, so long that even with his memory he cannot easily recall such a time that he has not... though it could have been that one of his experiments in the past could have effected his memories. Draqx mainly teaches the sciences, but also fills in as a substitute when needed, due to subsitiuting so long in so many other classes, he also teaches some inter disiplinary studies. This means that sooner or later just about anyone has a class with him teaching. While Draqx is a somewhat relaxed teacher, he will not tolerate some things in his classroom, and has a habit of throwing things at students that are sleeping in his class or doing other such actions, as a human this means the thrown objects are more of a nusance then a danger... untill he runs out of chalk and starts throwing whats at hand, which are usually vials and test tubes from his pockets of his labcoat... some of which have a tendency to explode or cause really random occurances... though all somehow non-lethal and eventually reversible. This means that most of his classes run smoothly and are somewhat entertaining while imparting knowledge.
Other: Much speculation has been made of Draqx and his labcoat, in particular, whats in his pockets. The white garment seems to hold an unending supply of random vials, test tubes, parts and bits of inventions, and just strange random stuff such as flash lights, collapsable ladders, books, various goldfish bowls, and one time a marble bust of some historical person with the face blank. Some think that the labcoat, or at least its pockets, access some sort of dimentional storage space or some esoteric way of storing and accessing items. Draqx is allmost never seen without his labcoat and as such can be easily identified at a distance.

"...and so, without further ado we here at Crimson Moon Academy would like to welcome all new students into our school!" The HeadMaster, Jaques Romanus, finished his speech welcoming the years new students.
~Finally....~ Moriko sighed inwardly, clapping unenthusiastically as she sat in the audience. She was one of the new students joining the school. After years she finally managed to convince her father to leave their manor and join the school. She glanced around the room. It was easy to tell who was what here.
Angels always had the lightest hair color- white, silver, blonde... sometimes a light brown or a soft gray, but it was usually the other and their eyes were normally blue or white. They were also pale white, sometimes like paper or snow. That, and their uniforms- which were white with blue trim and had angel wings sewn on the arm- had to be altered so their wings could be left out.
The Demons had some sort of mark- a birthmark symbolizing their breed, or clan or something. They had darker hair and usually very colorful- black, dark brown, dark red, dark blue.... sometimes a lighter shade, but almost always the former, their eyes amber or red. And their skin was normally pale, like the angels. Their uniforms were black with red trim and had a pentagram sewn on the arm, and were altered depending on what features they had- wings, tails, claws and such.
The Humans had normal hair colors unless it was dyed- brown, blonde, black, and so forth. Their eyes could be any color too- green, blue, hazel, brown, blue-green, or a mix. Their skin color was the same- pale, tan, dark tan, peach, black... Their uniforms were blue with white trim with a cross sewn on the arm, and had the least changes and alterations. They usually were the most normal looking of the student body.
As for the Vampires, well that was a different story. They so closely resembled humans, after all. Their hair could be any color, as could their eyes and skin. Their uniforms were red with black trim and three moons sewn onto the arm, which was really the only way you could tell what they were. But without the uniforms you wouldn't know what they were until they showed you.
The teachers were different, however. Unlike the students they didn't have uniforms. Instead, they wore some sort of symbol- a vampire wore a cross in plain view (they kept their powers sealed), a demon wore a collar or choker, an angel... well, their wings gave them away easily. As for the humans, they didn't have to really wear anything unless they chose to.
~I just hope I won't get bored....~ After a moment, she spotted one of the teachers. He looked kinda.... well, crazy. And like a scientist. ~Nice.... a crazy scientist is a teacher.... DEFINITLY won't get bored....~

"...we here at Crimson Moon Academy would like to..."
Draqx moved his shoulders slightly as the speech went on, though it was approaching its end. Draqx was not one for cerimony too much, and he was glad that at least he was able to sneek in some slight work as his hands in his pockets worked by feel putting something together, he did not know what, but the almost absent minded tinkering helped calm him, and prevented him from visually figeting in front of the new students.
Draqx let his mind wander to one year where he had been tinkering in the open during one such cerimony and the headmaster had asked him what he had been thinking what he was doing, this had at the time naturally surprised him and caused him tojump in the chair he had been sitting in at the time, causing one of his tools to activate the thing he had been working one, and it had shot out a spray of lubricant that spattered everyone on stage...
The sound of clapping brought him out of his memories and he finished up his tinkering for the moment and watched as the students sat down. There seemed to be quite the mix this year, Draqx hoped that perhaps this year they would settle down fast, or else he would have the infirmary people yelling at him again like after that one time when they tried to clean out the polkadotted neon plaid semi-permanent dye from that student that had been acting up in class... it had faded eventually... it had only been a few weeks after all... it was just bad timing that there was that it happened just before one of the school breaks... oh well, it had ment that the classes for weeks afterwards went by quite smoothly after that, so that was a plus after all...

Moriko stared at the teachers, sighing heavily. "Just let us go already...." She murmured.
"Now, all the students may report to their designated dormitory, or explore if they wish." HeadMaster Romanus fiddled with his thick black mustache. He was the decendant of the human who had helped create the school. "Just please behave yourselves! I wouldn't want one of the teachers to have to bring you to my office on the first day!" He had a thick Russian accent and bright blue eyes. H.M. Romanus turned to the teachers and waved his hand, signalling they were allowed to leave as well.
With that, the students stood and began to scatter about either talking amongst themselves or just going off by themselves. Moriko sat still for a few more moments, then stood and began to wander off. She had arrived early, and all her things were in her dorm which gave her time to explore.

Draqx watched the students leave and waited till almost all the students had left, then with a nod to the other teachers he left, intending to get back to his lab before he got roped into helping out at the information kiosk like last year, and the year before that, and so on and so forth. While Draqx did know the way around the academy better then just about anyone except those on the maintenance staff, the routes and "shortcuts" he liked to take usually were not for the faint of heart and involved going through some of the older sections of the place, where some thing or other sometimes decided to take up residence, though maintenance was usually good about clearing those areas up quickly.

His quick escape would've been perfect if he hadn't run into a snag. Or rather, hadn't run into someone.
Moriko and Draqx had been turning the same corner, both in their own little worlds, and as such had run smack into eachother.
Moriko gasped slightly, stepping back and rubbing her nose, which had been smashed against the much taller man's chest, then glanced up and realized who the man was. ~Ah s**t, a teacher... good job, Mori...
"Excuse me, Professor." She apollogized, bowing her head slightly. She quickly took note he was human. Or, at least looked that way.

The impact surprised Draqx, and brought him out of his thoughts with a slightly confused look as his thoughts jumbled together in a sort of trainwreck coming together all at once.
whatdiddawhointhwhat...eh?
Draqx almost missed the the student saying something and Draqx made an apology.
'Oh, sorry about that, I was a bit lost in thought eh. You allright, that was a bit of an impact.'
Draqx rubbed his chest where the student had almost made like a soccer player, the action obviously hammed up to convey that no permanent harm was done.

A bit flustered, her cheeks reddend alittle. "Ah, no it's fine Professor, I'm alright.."
Her head hurt alittle, but she figured it was from the overwhelming thoughts of her first embarassment on her first day of school. ~Wonderful....~

Draqx tilted his head to the side as he noted how the student addressed him. A raised eyebrow a moment later accompanied the realization that this must be one of the new students that had just been at the assembly.
'Well its good that you are okay, though after having to sit through all that talking I am surprised that your ears are still on, you are a new student are you not?'
Draqx smiled then so as to put the student at ease, and make a bit of fun at how long the previous event had draged out.

Moriko couldn't help but laugh alittle. "Yeah, that did last a good while." She was extremely thankful that he hadn't scolded her or anything.
"But should one of the teachers really be speaking that way about the HeadMaster's speech?"

Draqx nodded seeing that the student was more relaxed now and Draqx shrugged and make a pun of a common saying.
'Youve heard it once, Ive heard it a hundred times... but as you say its notspeaking out its an observation of fact... but that is nether here nor there, it did however have a few insites for new students. Skeaking of new students, how are you finding it here, all well and good I hope, though most new students have a bit of a hard time finding out where everything is you know.'
