He trod forth into his old stomping grounds with a lively bound in his step. Nothing could ever ruin the stallions playful mood- more troublesome then playful. His family though he loved them were boring and he was tired of pulling aimless pranks on them. And they probally were tired of the same thing. They just didn't 'react' the same way as when he was younger. 'bleh just boring....he needed some excitment'.
He threw his head up into the air and let out a long whinney. Had anyone been near him they would have quite easily noticed his call of boredom. Though it was at there own risk they'd actully approch him. This mood mad him abit fisty and slighty in the mood for a good rumble- nothing territorial mind you. He was on a strictly 'wanderer' diet anyway. Why would he own a patch of land? That was so droll; when he could go where ever his hooves took him. And in case he ever got bored he could always go back to mom, dad, and his grandparents.

(I'll go with Tooki.) Tooki had been running about, enjoying the nice weather. He been trotting around this new area, looking to spot a new face. His head tilted when he heard the whinny, pausing to see where it came from. He walked toward the sound, "Hello? Someone there? I hope you're not a monster...."
Actually, he sort of hoped it was a monster. He didn't want to be eaten, but seeing it would make a good story all the same. He wanted his own stories to add to the ones his mother and father had told him.

Apparently his bored cries had attracted another. He paused for a second then trotted forward so he could now see what was talking to him. "Naw I'm not a monster." He wiggled his bicolored tail for a few seconds. "From what I'm aware- monsters are ugly creatures...and I by far am not ugly." He made a slight snicker at the thought of him being anything but handsome.
"I'm Avery." He made a slight bow getting right to the point. "And you my fine blue friend are...?" He smiled trying to figure out what sort of trouble the new pair could get into...or if the other wasn't game for that- what trouble Avery could get him into. At least monster hunting sounded alot more interesting then what he was doing...

"I don't know," Tooki shrugged to the other stallion, looking at him curiously. "Momma said that sometimes monsters aren't ugly. So they can fool you."
Tooki hoped this other knew he was teasing. He walked a few steps around, looking at him, and the ground around the area. "What are you doing out here? It's kind of nowhere, isn't it?"
He looked at Avery, "I'm Tooki."

"Well I'm..." He paused trying to think of a good reply. "Out looking for an adventure...though if I'm not mistaken your right on about this area- it's plain droll. You wouldn't prehaps know of anyplace more exciting? Would you?" He cocked his head thinking about good looking monsters. It was just plain inconcivable in his head. Monsters were ugly. He obsessed over it again not quite catching on that it had been a joke.
"It's nice to meet you Tooki. And why might you be in these droll lands? Are you monster hunting?" He wiggled his tail at the thought of this game. He had heard some rumors about Soq that could turn into animals. Prehaps Tooki was hunting those.

"I'm just exploring in general. Looking for fun places I can show my friend..." Tooki told the other stallion, then frowned a little. He didn't want to tell him about Melanie...she was his friend. "I just like looking around. Don't stay in one place too long."
He walked around a little, looking around. "This place looks like one of the stories my grandmother told me. Where undead roamed the land, and huge dragons would swoop out of the air. Was just a story...I don't think there are big dragons like that. She came from a land far off...I think they invented stories to scare foals. But, all the same...I like to see if there really are monsters out here. Be fun to tell my foals someday. If I ever have any, that is."
Tooki looked at Avery, "Exciting would be the beach near the sea, where the kelpi are...or the mountains. Maybe near the forests....I heard there are all kinds of things there. I once saw a soquili with feathers and scales, now she's in the family, my aunt now I guess...by...whatever."

"Undead?" His ears perked at the word. "I'm up for finding undead if you are!" He pranced back and forth like he wanted to get moving. "Though I don't think we'd find them in this feild-" he paused and looked around. It just seamed to peaceful for undead. "They'd probally be in this neato two-legger gravesite I passed awhile back." He sighed. "It was daytime- and the two leggers camp was KINDA close by- so I didn't go into it...but if you want we can travel back and try to inspect it late at night. I'm be more then happy to see an undead Soquili floating about - maybe even a two-legger zombie!"
"We should be there by dark if you don't mind the travel time." He then stopped and looked at Tooki. "We can stop by and get your friend if they are close." He smiled. "I'm sure it'd be a fun adventure!" Though the other stallion probally had reasons he didn't want to tell Avery about the mare he was friends with. He might have thought that he was prehaps going to steal her away. But what Tooki didn't know was that he was already involved with a beautiful mare of his own; Mali. He'd have to take her to the graveyard on there next outting together. She'd probally enjoy the adventure too.
"Foals..." He paused and thought about being a father. "Yea I'd like some foals too. But before I have them I'd like you tell me some of those stories your grandma told you- they seam fun. My kids probally like them- you know when the time came."

Tooki blinked a little. "Well...I'm not sure about zombies. I think I've seen some little tiny soquili things that smelled dead. I didn't go near them."
He thought about the graves, then shrugged. "I suppose we could go and see what we find. At any rate, it'd be an interesting tale for my father. He can't come on land often, or for very long. So, he never gets to leave the beach...or river beds. I like to tell him about my adventures as well."
The stallion shuffled his hooves, then looked at the other male. "They're just stories from her family and stuff. From the place she came from. She's kind of scary, but I know she's not. She has big tusks...so does my mother. They have accents too, but I never picked it up."
Why's this guy thinking about kids? Or telling my grandma's stories to them....I'm not babysitting his foals.... Tooki thought, watching Avery curiously.
