Tokyo is a strange city. It is so focused on progressing towards the future, reviving itself like the phoenix way and over again, however it was the same progress that kept the city chained in the heavy chains of those who got lost in the rising tide of advancement. Those spiritual bonds held strong and could as well demolish the city to mere ruins if they actually knew how to combine and evolve as well as humans did. Fei's last name was Seiyu as far as anyone was concerned but in truth she and her twin brothers were children of her father's late wife and another man, belonging to the Getsurei clan of onmyouji. And as such Fei had always been able to do things other people couldn't... The way of the Onmyoudou wasn't as easy as one would want to believe, but things being how they were one didn't get a choice anyway.
In her free time she liked to practice fortune-telling through cards. It was easier than it sounded though it was never accurate. No one could tell the future at will, no, not this way. However they could receive an omen or sign that they could interpret one way or another. But since it was boring to practice on the same people again and again she had made a habit of stationing herself around train stations in the late hours where there were less people and practice on any passerby that were interesting in getting their fortunes told. She remembered that her mother did the same thing when practicing her skills at cheiromancy.
"Have a nice day too." she bid her last customer farewell. She had a good omen for her, that she would probably meet a person that she hadn't seen in a long while. The young woman seemed overjoyed. Fei liked that, however sometimes omens were quite grim and that made her sad. However that was her fate as an onmyouji, warding off spirits, excorsising hauntings... none of those entities were bad by nature and they all had a sad story to be told. But one must learn to deal since this is life after all.
She tilted her head backwards and looked away into the crowd, while shuffling her exactly seventy eight cards for the next drawing.

And the day is just starting <3.... The sky was already dark, but it was never really dark in Shibuya. All those amazing illuminations and street lights... Back at home, it was never like that. Finally, he felt like living again. So he decided to take a late-night stroll around the city. But somehow, his feet ended up bringing him to the train station. Not that he really wanted to go anywhere far. But since he already got here, might as well look around... Maybe there'll be a destination name that'll strike his fancy. He had all he needed with him, so might as well go his own way whenever he thinks he'd like to... But instead of the map, what caught his attention was a woman with a deck of cards. She looked pretty suspicious. He remembered Misa telling him to stay away from suspicious people. But suspicious was interesting. He wondered what the woman was doing. Didn't really seem to be playing for money, but who knows? He fixed his skirt absent-mindly, and continued to wonder, looking in her direction.... If she minded the staring, she can always tell him to stop.

"...he's... looking at you..." Fei lifted her eyes from the neatly illustrated backs of her tarot cards and looked over at the individual who was looking over at her. He didn't seem like a stalker or anything... and he was dressed in girls' clothing. It was a little funny, she thought to herself and couldn't help but smile invitingly at the stranger.
"Do you want to get your fortune told?" she asked tilting her head to one side while untangling her legs that so long have been kept neately crossed as she shifted a little to be more comfortable. All sorts of people came to her, that was one thing to be said, weird people, people that she didn't know. She got to know them for a little while and then they simply dissapeared in the jungle that was the world never to be seen again. Sometimes it just hapenned that the same person would come again. Fei was happy then, but those were but a few rare times.
So she didn't mind, no matter how strange the other looked it was still okay. Because everyone is a different person anyway, and being strange makes you individual. Individuality was a good thing after all.

"Fortune?" Ciri looked at the woman, and blinked. "So you're, like a psychic? Not a gambler?" He moved closer, eyeing the deck of cards she was holding, and then the woman herself. "So you, like, REALLY can read someone's future from cards? That's totally sweet! How do you do that? Do you have some special powers or something? Wow, you're, like, great! So what does it say for me?" A wide grin appeared on the blonde's face, as he was paying all of his attention to the fortune teller.

Fei smiled. She had guessed that the stranger was a gaijin already due to his looks so she hadn't expected much of a different reply. After all most either got excited about it or shrugged her off anyway. She found herself giggling. Placing one hand over her mouth politely as she did so she studied the strange boy. "I'm not really a psychic, nor can I see the future, not like psychics you see in movies do." she explained with a smile. She didn;t mind talking about. "Onmyou can actually be taught and studied." she explained. "But little people manage to become full-fledged Onmyouji." she started shuffling her cards again as she spoke. "My family are Onmyouji by blood." she said taking a card out of her pile and placing it on her lap. "We can see spirits, exsorcise spirits, see visions of the future, and there are countless practices like reading the cards, faces, hands." a second card was placed next to the first one on her lap. "There was a great-great-grandfather of mine who was said to be able to tell what one was in their previous lives." a third card was placed on her lap and Fei looked up at the blonde mysteriously.
"Do you believe in life after death?" she asked openning the three cards to reveal a spread of the Wheel of Fortune, seven of wands and Death.

He listened to the woman's explanation curiously, nodding from time to time, with a look of excitement on his face. So she was, like, from a family of psychics? "That is, like, so totally RAD!" Wonder how did her childhood look. Did she go to a special school for psychics, and studied stuff like reading minds or bending spoons or stuff? Or...or maybe she had a special teacher only for her, who was always following her, giving her wise advice and making her sit under a waterfall in an uncomfortable pose? Or...or...or maybe she actually met a demon who gave her the secrets of all his magical tricks? "Sooooooooooooo cool! I totally envy you, it must be really great to do all that...that onmyou stuff!" Whatever it was. "...life after death?" Ciri wondered for a moment, finger on his chin, but in the end he only smiled cluelessly. "Wouldn't that make the world, like, really crowded?" But then, he noticed the card. The pictures were pretty nice, he had to tell. though he didn't really know what they were about. "...what does that mean?"

"Is he really as ignorant as he seems to be?" the male spoke giving Ciri a cold glare. He tended to dislike people like this, who acted only without thinking much, however the boy didn't seem dumb. Fei giggled at the blonde's reaction, her smile was only half-hearted though. She didn't really believe the path of an onmyouji to be one to be desired -envied even- by any logical being. "Maybe you could try learning sometime." she laughed. "I don't know about aquiring precognition, but almost anyone can brand a simple seal with the correct instructions or do other things like that." She looked at the card spread on her lap, while rapidly glancing on her right then back up at the male. His words were wise in a way that was almost funny. His words may have been stemming from ignorance and had a childish naivety to them but that didn't kep them from being true. The world was crowded. Like, really crowded, to put it in the boy's way. She refrained from making a comment nontheless. "Do you think he knows?" Fei shuddered at the cards as she studied them. Such a strange dealing. So many changes. So many violent shiftings... as if one had tossed a small wooden raft in a wild sea. She blinked looking at the cards then up at the blonde again. "Changes." she simply stated, replying to his question about what it meant. "Every one of them..." she allowed her eyes to drift in between the cards trying to interpret the hidden meaning behind them. "A chance taken, will change everything, the outcome is only known when one has reached the final destination." she finally decided. "See, death is not really a bad card." Fei smiled. "Death signifies passage, rebirth, a U-turn, however it is an active card, powerful card. What will come of it... no one can know. Like when you die... you don't know what you will reborn as." she sighed and lowered her eyes, she seemed to fidget a lot, but wasn't sure if this was good. It was almost as if, almost as ifshe was being restless. "It is that time again." "Of course you can say it is supperstition." she yawned picking the three cards up and playing with them between her fingertips.

"Learning? How would I learn that?" The idea sounded amusing. More amusing that most of the time-killing ideas he had so far. Who knows, maybe he might try, if he'd get bored enough? Ciri kept looking at the cards, even after the woman took them back, holding them in her hands. "Changes, you say... Changes three times..." How interesting... Especially that since recently, everything around him was changing... "A chance that already happened, or one that is going to happen?" And Death... He wondered, despite the woman's comment, if it could really symbolize what it was named after. His death, someone's he knows... How interesting! But this, he wouldn't let to happen. Ciri smiled, pondering at that thought for a moment. No matter the real meaning, something was bound to happen, she says... Superstition or not, there are always chances when you're looking for them. Maybe it's just a reminder to look. And then something fun is bound to happen. He could hardly wait.

Fei shrugged. "Some bookstores even sell books about magic and spiritual procedures. Most of them are placebos, some of them are a real deal however." she smiled slightly again and got to her feet while putting her cards away at the small purse she was almost always carrying. "I don't know." Fei spoke the truth. "A logical deduction would be that since the first card was Fortuna and the number of the Wands was high the chance is already taken and the 'plan' is already in effect." "Fei!" A train's light illuminated the station even though the train was to arrive in about another minute. Extending a hand to keep the blonde boy from walking towards it she simply waited. The train departed and another one entered the station at its designated time. She knew the other couldn't have possibly seen both trains, however she still feared that ghost-train running its course. Ever since that day in the blackout, the apparition would appear again and again. Following it one would find that the ghostly train departed normally from its mother station and kept going until it reached just outside Harajuku station where it stopped and dissapeared. No one had been able to send the train away so far, and for one, Fei knew that someone of the Aoyagi clan had gotten involved which meant it was pretty serious if they couldn't send it away. Even so the train had never harmed anyone as long as it existed.
"Do you want to go somewhere? It is not the safest thing to stay on a deserted station at such a time." she made a small motion of the head towards the train as she took another step, her shoes making an empty sound like clapping when they collided with the floor. She had taken a sort of liking to the strange blonde which she couldn't explain since she had only just met him. Not everything could be logically explained though, she knew that.

"And how do you find a good one?" The boy looked at her, and then laughed quietly "Or is it another form of a test? Zabawne...." He opened his mouth to say something more, but then, suddenly the woman moved her hand towards him, between him and the train tracks, like she wanted to stop him or something... What a peculiar person she was... He liked her already. When the train arrived, and the woman finally moved her hand, he looked at her curiously. "Would something happen if I went there to wait before the train arrived?" Another short laugh. Yes, he was glad that he came here, despite not really needing to do so. This might be a reason. Company. "Ofcourse. Where would you like to go?" Ciri smiled, and took a few dancing steps towards the train, and boarding it. "...the chance...maybe it was me coming here after all..."

"A test?" Fei blinked. "No, not really." she laughed. "You have to try things out or being told what is real." she shrugged. A lot of people where interested into the occult and many times they would come across something interesting. A real magic circle, a potion or scrolls with instructions to real blood-pacts. That usually meant things would sooner or later get messy since most people never understood when enough was enough.
"There was this train." Fei mumbled under her breath, unsure if the other would believe her. "Ever since the blackout incident last month it has been appearing on the lines, running its scheduled course until it stops and dissapears just before Harajuku station." she sighed and looked away, gently tugging at the blonde's sleeve to get him into the train. "It was on the news back then." she sighed. "A lot of people got killed and a kid dissapeared..." she really didn't feel like getting deeper into the matter, however she felt like she should tell the other. "And no, it's not sure anything would have hapenned. So far no one's got hurt, no one can be sure however." she shrugged.
"I don't know for sure, could be." she replied to his words about the chance. "You should simply wait and see." some things took time to come into effect anyway. "I was going to simply spend the night to my brother's, so you can tag along anyway. He lives alone in this huge appartment and all and his cooking is spectacular... when he is not just eating from McDonald's that is..." the 'I'm going to spend the night at my brother's' was a pretty vague term when reffering to Fei's family, however, seeing how she was one of thirteen siblings. By the description she meant her older brother however, Outa, the lawyer. "Of course if you have anything better in mind..." she trailed off, leaving all options open.
"I never introduced myself." she noticed and made a small bow of the head to show respect. "My name is Seiyuu Fei." she smiled. And that was all who she was.

"...so things like that happen here..." Ciri looked around, not even a bit of cauciousness in his eyes... And all curiousity. "..'killed' and 'disappeared'? So, like, some were found, and some not? Like, what happened?" For such things to actually happen... Yes, this is a wonderful place to be in. Never to be bored again... ...those japanese people have it good. "Off to your brother's then." He smiled at the girl's statement. Wonder what is he like? Does he talk a lot? Or will it be easy to outtalk him? "Not that I had any plans for myself. I was just going to, like, walk around and get to know the city. 't's just my first day here after all." "Fei then." When she introduced herself, Ciri quickly took out his pink cellphone, took a picture of her, and added a note with her name. You never know when your memory'll get blank on you. "My name's Ciri. At least that's what I go by, anyway. Nice to meet'cha."

Fei nodded at Ciri's words. Yes, such thing hapenned there. It was sad but it did. The boy seemed excited, however. She wouldn't deny that there were those thril-seekers out there, however it made her scared to see them walk right into the wolf's den without knowing what to do to defend themselves, without weapons, without the slightiest knowledge of what they could find there. She chose not to say anything though. Most of the time a person's warning mattered not to people like this. It only helped fueling their excitement. "Why are you taking him to Kazuhiko?" the male asked from his place, comfortably seated next to Fei while he eyed the blonde again. Something appeared off about that guy and he would find what. She sighed, thinking back to the events of a month ago. "No..." she trailed off, grasping on the last part of the boy's question. "They found him two days later... but he wasn't himself anymore." she shook her head as if regretting something she, herself, did. "As for the rest most weren't killed by any means known to man. There were no flesh wounds and no traces of substances that could have caused death were found after autopsy took place. We've been called to investigate a couple times but not even occultists were able to determine a cause of death. It almost was... almost as if somehow their hearts just, suddently, forgot to beat..." it wasn't a pleasant subject to discuss, that was for sure. At least Fei didn't find it amusing. It was certaintly intriguing but somehow, she knew she didn't want to come face to face with whatever caused this. "FEI!" the male was getting irritated by her lack of answers, especially when he knew she could just talk to him through her mind without giving his existance off. She remained silent for a few moments, as if the reality of all that she spoke phazed her then moved into the next matter. "I'm sure you'll like him." she smilled thinnly. "Kazuhiko is, like, a saint." she brought her hand up to allow her fingers to play with the hem of her jacket. "So you're a newcomer, eh? Didn't know I snatched you off on your first day, maybe you'd preffer something more interesting..." she tried to think of a place where most young people went and could only think of either Shinjuku or Harajuku, both being too crowded for her taste. After all she had spent her whole childhood training out in the mountains. She never knew what 'crowded' meant before she came to Tokyo. "Fei, if you don't-" suddently the familliar voice rang in his mind and he could at least reasure himself that it was alright. "Don't tell me you didn't sense it. He feels... the same as that boy." "Ciri then." she smiled. "It is nice to meet you too." still, there was a faint atony in her voice as she spoke those words. Last time she ever said something of the like was ...a long time ago and that time it didn't end up well.

"Wasn't, like, himself..?" What an interesting choice of words. Ciri raised his head, and looked at the woman. "As in, what happened with him? He got loony or something?" Another moment of silence, as the woman described the unusual deaths. It seemed pretty similar to what was happening back in Poland - people dying just like that, in the middle of a walk or something... "...so it's really happening here too, eh?"If it happened in two places, it probably happens everywhere. Tough luck for all those idiots who started escaping in panic. "Should've guessed." "Interesting is definetely something I like." The blonde laughed "But that saint of yours sounds interesting too, so let's not keep you out of home for too long."

Fei looked away from Ciri, and looked at the other people around. They were only a few in the same wagon as them though concidering the time this was understandable. She looked down as she thought of the right choice of words to describe what she saw that day. She shook her head. "No, not crazy." she said. "Just..." was there a way to actually say it and being accurate? She had spoken with the boy herself, however the word she was about to use was maybe a bit too much, 'not human' maybe was going over the edge. "He seemed... vacant." she finally said and heaved a sigh.
Fei looked up again. "Was it hapenning in your homeland too?" she questioned. "Might I ask were are you from, anyway?" she questioned, leaning back on her seat. If she had to guess she'd say he was from some part of northern Europe, that much was clear by his features, not that it wasn;t possible to find such fair features towards the south and in America you could find about everything anyway.
She giggled at the boy's words. "Do you like Japanese cuisine?" she asked, that because in the best scenario they would starve if they just went to Kazuhiko's home without being prepaired, and then it wasn't really a wise thing to do, walking back to buy food.
