Grass Field
The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustled the flat grassland arena, sending small clouds of harmless pollen into the air. The land is completely flat, making manuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS type attacks.

Hopping out into the trainers box, Choppi was really pumped for this battle. It'd been a while since she wore her hair in a solo ponytail, and it felt a little odd, but it was for the best.
A new trainer had come to Katarina and needed a pokemon to battle with. Cassie was the pokemon for the job. Tugging the pokeball tied to her hairtie, she tossed it into the air above the arena. "Let's go Hannah!"
The grass field was one they'd fought on before, and it was time again to use it. However, this fight was a first. To battle against her own pokemon was going to be tough, but she knew it would only make them all a stronger team in the end.
A flashing red light lit up the ground as it formed a cubone, and once the light faded Hannah was ready for battle. Tail wagging, she twirled her boneclub as she smiled happily. "Cuecue!"

Jacqui could feel her legs shaking as she looked down at the pokeball she held in her hand.
It was very nice of Choppi to let her borrow her pokemon, but what if she did something wrong? She'd never battled before.
Taking a deep breath, she threw the pokeball into the air, "Go Cassie!"
The pokeball opened revealing a red light that quickly took the shape of the Stantler.
Jacqui smiled and waved to Cassie, “Hullo! Let’s make this a good battle, k? Forgive me if I don’t really know what I’m doing here”
Cassie looked a little unsure of this new girl, but she nodded, and turned to face her opponent/friend.

Nodding to the opposing trainer with a smile, Choppi pointed to the field. Not wanting to point to her pokemon directly, she kept it open a bit.
"Dynamic Punch Hannah!" She called out, and watched as the cubone nodded.
Hopping across the grass field, she made way towards the stantler. It was rather unnerving fighting such a close friend as this, being that Hannah helped rescue Picasso. Still a fight was a fight.
Forcing all her attack power into her fist, it flashed brightly as she swung at the reindeer. Almost looking away, she wondered if the attack would really hit.

Cassie flew back slightly from the impact of the punch, and she shook her head to try and get composure again. It felt strange fighting against her friend but Hannah seemed to be taking it seriously so she knew she should too.
Jacqui frowned slightly, “Are you alright Cassie? You’re doing fine! Let’s try Energy Ball!”
Cassie nodded that she was ok, before focusing on her opponent; her antlers glowed as a green ball of energy shot from them directly at Hannah. Cassie closed her eyes; not wanting to see what damage it might cause her friend.

The attack struck Hannah and knocked her backwards. Shaking her head furiously, she managed to get the feeling of the energy attack off her, and back in the battle. The cubone had experienced much worse.
"Rock Smash!"
Another attack was to be executed in a timely fashion as battles go. Digging her clawed toe into the dirt, the hunk of rock flipped into the air. Almost in slow motion, Hannah swung her boneclub like a bat and smacked the piece of earth through the air towards the stantler. It might be easy to dodge, but then again not all battles were perfect.

Cassie tried to dodge the attack but was hit by the bolder as she was jumping out of the way.
“It’s ok Cassie! Now let’s try Earthquake!” Jacqui smiled, feeling slightly more at ease, “I think I’m getting the hang of this” she thought out loud.
Cassie reared up on her hind legs, then stomped hard on the ground with her front legs, there was a loud rumble through the earth, emanating from where she stood.

((It did 150 damage, so the total is 700. No worries. ;D))
The Earthquake was nothing to her really, forcing her to stumble a little bit. Catching herself with nothing but a few minor scratches Hannah jumped up and started to run towards the stantler.
"Dynamic Punch!"
Hannah's hand immediately lit up with a powerful light as she tried once again to smack into her opponent, warming up more into the battle.

Cassie tried to get out of the way of the attack, but was still hit pretty hard in her side.
“Now, Energy Ball!”
Cassie closed her eyes and her antlers glowed green as before, shooting out a ball of green energy right at Hannah.

Hannah was knocked back head over heels and fell face down into the grass, her head spinning. That attack really, really packed a punch. Cringing, she shook her head and hopped up. Cassie really meant business.
"Rock Smash!"
Another rock was ripped from the ground and now soaring at the stantler. Maybe she could turn this battle around, but it might have been a long shot.

Cassie hated fighting her friend like this, but Hannah seemed serious so she felt she had to be equally as serious. She saw the rock flying towards her, and tried to bound out of the way, she nearly made it to, but it just grazed across her back.
“Ok Cassie, try Psychic!”
Cassie’s eyes and antlers glowed blue as she sent a powerful Psychic attack at Hannah.

The attack blurred Hannah's vision and sent the cubone falling flat on her stomach. Eyes closed to keep the world from tilting more on her, she layed there with a small...'Cuuuue'...slipping from her mouth.
"Return!" Choppi called, a red light zapping Hannah back up into the saftey of her pokeball. Giving it a light kiss to the top, she smiled. Her little pokemon has fought a good fight.
Winking to the other trainer, she gave her the 'V' sign in honor of her awesome job in her very first battle.
"Lets meet up at the pokemon center, okay?" She smiled, and tied Hannah's pokeball back to her pontail. Then turned and left the arena.

Jacqui’s mouth dropped open, “We won? Wow!” she ran over to Cassie and hugged her neck, “You did such a great job, thanks for letting me play trainer with you!”
Cassie was a little shocked by the hug at first but smiled and nodded, “Stantler”
Jacqui returned her to her pokeball, and smiled at Choppi “Thanks for letting me borrow her, it was a great battle! Ok, see you at the pokemon center then”
