Kara smiled as she trotted through the meadow, amongst the breeze and the wildflowers. She stopped every once in a while to sniff one, then moved on, looking for something fun to do. This was a perfect day to play in the sun, and that was exactly what Kara was aiming to do.
Suddenly she spotted a ladybird, and she immediately crouched down in the grass. She silently stalked her prey, eyes intent on the little bug as she inched forward. Slowly, carefully, Kara moved closer and closer, waiting for just the right moment....there! The young Palui gathered herself and sprang into the air to triumphantly pounce on the hapless beetle! Or at least, that's what she was aiming for. Instead, she tripped on a tree root, somehow did a somersault, and landed on her back among the flowers. Stunned, she stared up at the sky, and sneezed as she inhaled a cloud of pollen. Well, that could have gone a bit better!

It seemed as though it would yet another uneventful day. Lia sighed as she came to a stop in the tall grass she was walking in. Her tail swished side to side as she looked around ears alert for any sounds in the area. She blinked a few times, breathing as the wind blew past her, her feet planted firmly against the ground. She shook her body quickly and then stretched all four of her legs, before yawning. Shaking her head, she began to walk forward again. It wasn't long before she once again came to a stop, but this time instead of looking around and stretching.
A playful smile appeared on her face as she stepped back a few times and then started running forward. The smile remained plastered on her face as she sped up, running in a straight line in the tall grass. She couldn't tell where she was going, nor did she know if any danger was around or nearby. Honestly, she didn't care. At the moment, she was running as she pleased, the wind hitting against her face and the sun shining down onto her and the rest of the world from above.
She continued to run for a few minutes until her ears caught a nearby sound. Her head turned in the direction the sound came from, trying to slow down into a stopping. It took a couple of seconds, but she soon got to the point where she was trotting, coming to a complete stop. She remained like that for a few more seconds before her ears laid against her head. Slowly, she crept in the direction the sound came from. She stayed low to the ground as she crept closer, finally spotting what had made the sound she heard earlier. She sighed lowly in relief since it was just another Palui as she was. No danger.
She watched from the distance in the grass as the Palui sneezed from inhaling a large amount of pollen. She giggled somewhat as she watched the other Palui.

Kara froze as she heard a faint giggle, coming from somewhere off to the right. Was there someone there? Perhaps it was a friend she could play with!

Lia continued to watch the other Palui, blinking as it suddenly froze. Did he or she hear her? Perhaps. But it didn't matter so much since there was no danger. She smiled slightly as she lowered the front part of her body, the bottom end up in the air as her tail stood straight up. She wiggled side side before a small playful smirk appeared on her face. She stepped back a couple steps until she figured she was far enough, stopping, she looked ahead one more to make sure the Palui was still in the same position and then broke into a flat out run. Once she came to the edge of the grass, she jumped over towards the other Palui, pouncing on her, if the poor palui didn't move in time that is.

Kara never saw it coming. One minute she was looking around for the source of the giggle, and the next she was flat on her stomach, pinned under something heavy and...soft? What?! The dog Palui let out a squeak and wiggled a bit, trying to get out from underneath whatever was pinning her down. Could this be the source of the giggle? Perhaps this thing was trying to play, and that's why it had tackled her. Kara squirmed and tried to twist around to get a good look at whoever was on top of her. She glimpsed orangey fur and a playful smirk, but not much else. Unable to wiggle her way free, Kara huffed and gave up, flopping down and waiting to see what would happen next.

Lia smiled as she looked under herself. The poor Palui wasn't very strong it seemed and had given up from trying to pull itself from under her. She quickly pulled herself off the smaller Palui and planted herself on the ground next to her. She smiled, her bottom on the ground as she watched what it would do next. She giggled somewhat before she finally started speaking her tail moving from one side of her to the other. "I didn't think I'd find another one of us this far out. Sorry if i startled you earlier. You were practically asking to get pounced." she said smiling. She wrinkled her nose as she watched the other Palui, holding her face down as she sneezed.

[By the way, you don't have to put Lia's image in every post. Just the first one is fine :3 ]
Kara pulled herself to her feet, and blinked at the other Palui. At least, she thought it was a Palui. It looked different from any she'd seen before though. It had funny flat sections on the ends of it's ears and tail, and tufts of hair hanging down from its face. Kara tilted her head and studied the other animal, and flinched a bit when it sneezed. Well, it seemed normal enough.
"What are you?" Kara asked, immensely curious. "What's your name?"

Lia smiled, her tail continuing to swing back and forth behind her as she watched the other Palui pull itself to it's feet. Her smile then disappeared as it became one of curiosity. She blinked as the other Palui blinked, almost as if it was examining her. It wasn't anything new though. Other Palui often did that. Whether it was staring, or pawing her to see if she was real or not. She was use to it by now, and it wasn't like they were being mean or anything. It was just different is all. When she sneezed, she saw as the palui flinched and then stood up on all fours, shaking her fur before sitting down again.
She smiled gently over at the other Palui, cocking her head to the side. "I'm one of you. Just a little different is all. My name's Lia. What's yours? Sorry for pouncing on you if you don't like to play" she said. Lia watched the other Palui, wondering what it was going to do or say next. It was getting really boring doing the same routine as she always had. (( It's a habit. I like to see the pictures ^^ ))

Kara stared at the other Palui for a while longer, then grinned. "Okay then. I'm Kara. Nice to meet cha!"
The dog Palui pricked her ears forward and said, "Of course I like to play! I was just a bit surprised, that's all." She suddenly scooted forward, bopped Lia on the head with a paw, then turned tail and ran. As she scampered away she yelled over her shoulder, "Tag, you're it!"

Lia blinked as the other Palui stared at her a little bit longer. She wondered what she was thinking until she finally spoke. A wide smile appeared on her face as her long tail wagged happily. Her ears perked up and then twice as she stood up on all four of her paws. "It's nice to meet you as well!" she said happily, smiling even wider as she said she had also liked to play. She laughed somewhat. "Sorry about that, but you can't blame me too much" she said as she looked down at the doglike Palui. Watching as it drew closer.
Lia blinked as she watched Kara scoot forward, bop her on the head with one of her paws and then ran for it. She was a little confused for a few seconds before she heard the palui yell tag. A playful smirk appeared on her face as she ran after Kara. "I won't be for long!" she yelled, laughing as she ran towards her. She felt a little confident she'd catch up easy since her legs were probably longer then Kara's.
