Linnetsong was not happy. It had been a few days since she had been captured, providing that her time skills weren't off. The only place where she could see from her cage was the sun was a small window that was blocked by the tree. She couldn't remember how many afternoons and nights she sat through, waiting for some sign that showed that she wasn't dead yet. It was a lot though.
That's why she was startled when a bunch of strong scents appeared one day. Strong scents from the forest. She waited until the Two-legs had left the room before she started calling out to them.
"Hello? Who's there? Anyone from the forest clans?"
She tried speaking as loud as she could, not being sure as to how many cats there were or where they were among the walls lined with cages. The two-legs would be annoyed at the persistent meowing, but she didn't care right now. She wanted company. She shouldn't have went exploring that night either.

Rumsplash was freaked out she clawed at the door the two leg had snapped shut after tossing her inside. The floor was cold like snow and shinned brighter than any ice. She yowled with frustration, but then heard a voice coming from the wall to the left of her cell.
She padded towards it and sniffed trying to understand the smells around her. Rummy could smell Thunderclan just faintly among the other strange smells.
"Yes!" Rumsplash called with a frighted voice."I'm Rumsplash of Shadowclan...where are we? Are you a Thunderclan cat? Or have I lost all my senses?!" Rumsplash pressed her face against the cage door and tried to peer into the cage beside her.

The dry Twoleg pellets crunched underneath Plumgaze whenever he moved, causing his neighbors - two kittypets - to complain angrily about the noise. He did not care. His first act upon being caged had been to knock over the food dish and its foul contents. A warrior wouldn't deign to eat that filth.
To be honest, though, most of his activities at camp had involved food. If not eating, he was hunting. In this state of entrapment he was at a loss.
So he gazed listlessly into space as cats howled and metal rattled, his mind running in circles. One thing, though, kept coming to the front of his mind. Teardrop. At last it was over. Plumgaze would be taken by the Twolegs; then she would be free to love Tigerheart.
But his family...he wished it were possible to speak to them one last time. Dysfunctional though they were, he still loved them. It was going to be very hard, being without them.
Plumgaze's ears flicked back, then forward as they caught Linnetsong's question. The black warrior leaned closer to the bars and sniffed; sure enough, mixed among the many unfamiliar scents was the green scent of the forest. He'd almost decided not to answer when Rumsplash's panicked voice rang out.
"Rumsplash? How did you get here?" he cried, trying to catch a glimpse of her. If Rumsplash was here, could there be other warriors of ShadowClan caught as well? Like Darkmist, or Ebonyheart? Much as he would miss them, the last thing he wanted was for them to be trapped in this place.

Berrysnow blinked her eyes open, letting out a moan. Her head was throbbing as if it had been struck by a badger. The last thing she remembered was a sharp pain in her flank, then passing out. She sat up, confused by the jumble of different scents, and the matel frame she was staning on. Then, she recognized a scent. "Linnetsong! Are you there? Are you alright?" She mewed, forgetting her headache, flicking her tail, thankful her only possesion, a star charm was still with her.

"Plumgaze is that you?" Rumsplash called looking about trying to figure which way his voice had come from. " I was hunting and snap! Then there were two legs and I sorta panicked and now I'm still panicking but I'm in the cave of shiny ice!!! Where are you?!! We gotta get out of here!! I don't like it here!!!" Rumsplash threw herself against the cage door a few times hoping it would budge. "ow......." Rummy muttered.
Rumsplash head others beginning to speak and move around. There seemed to be a few complaints from strange cats Rummy could barely see. Where was she, where was her father? If Thunderclan was here was her mother or siblings here. Just what was going on?

"Yeah. I'm Linnetsong." The said cat replied back to Rumsplash, whoever she was. That's quite a leap the two-legs made, from trapping cats from the forest to the marshes. And why they were doing it, she had no clue.
There was also Plumgaze, from Shadowclan. She was starting to feel lonely again, noticing that most of the clan scents were from other clans, but she noticed some hint of trees. And then Berrysnow spoke out.
"I'm here Berrysnow!" Linnetsong shoved herself against the bars again. "Is mom and dad and my brothers and my sisters alright? They haven't been captured too, have they? Oh Starclan, they must be so worried about me! I hope they don't think I'm dead or anything..."
Wait a sec. Rumsplash? Wasn't there a kit named Rumkit in Thunderclan a while back? Except she was killed by an owl?

"Linnetsong? You must be the missing cat that Thunderclan patrol was talking about?" Rumsplash spoke pressing her face against the cage again. Thunderclan or not at least there was a clan cat near her, she pressed her paw out of the cage and tried clawing at the edge of Linnetsong's cage, hoping the is might open from that direction.
"No use...though I can't say I'm surprised if I can't open mine by slamming into it. Two legs open these things though so there has to be a way out. What have you or have you tried anything so far Linnetsong?" Rumsplash seemed to be calming down a little, but still sounded very upset.

"Yes, yes. Spiderheart, Fishertail, and the rest are fine. They were frentic when they found out you were missing. Its a wonder we couldnt find you!" She mewed, stopping to listen to the others. so ShadowClan was here too?
Rum...why did that sound familiar? she focused on scenting, trying to decifer any other cats from the forest Clans.

Rollinggust was silent, listening for any voices of fellow Windclan warriors. It was like she was reliving a nightmare... except worse. There were other cats, and therefore more in danger, therefore the two-legs must have a big plan. A big plan equals... bad. She sat up uncomfortably, and her ice blue gaze flickered about, trying to see any hints to where they really were. Near the forest? In the forest? Far away? But she could not tell anything from their surroundings, they were in cages inside of a bigger cage.

Fernstar's hearing gradually heightened again as consciousness returned to the ragged Riverclan leader. The pale tortoiseshell was curled up at the very back of the cold, shiny den she had been locked in. She blearily cracked her eyes open, but shut them again when her vision was too cloudy to make anything out. Her ears swiveled slowly, listening to the mews and yowls of many cats around her; were they being invaded? She wasn't in her camp, so why was everyone so upset?
...Twolegs.
Memory was returning to her at a frustratingly slow pace, but Fernstar was beginning to piece together what had happened. She had just let her clanmates know about the compromise between Riverclan and Windclan and had been on her way back from seeing the other clan off when a sharp pain suddenly struck her flank. Bewildered by the sudden attack, she had hurtled into a nearby group of fronds by the river. It wasn't long after that that she fell unconscious; her low bodyweight meant the twoleg's poison traveled swiftly through her blood.
As her hearing cleared and came back at full power and her sense of smell returned as well, the Riverclan leader listened to what her neighbors and 'denmates' were saying and began sifting the scents around her. Among the plethora of kittypet, loner, and rogue scents, she could detect the scents of the other three forest clans. So she wasn't the only clan cat who had been taken by the twolegs. Fernstar refused to move from where she was, even when she was able to open her eyes and stare out of the grated entrance of the small den. Her body trembled and she flexed her claws against the slick floor of the den, worried about many things.

Plumgaze still felt the aches from his capture. The Twolegs had gotten lucky - he'd almost walked right into their paws. He heard Rumsplash's determination that they ought to escape, and didn't have the heart to tell her there was no chance. He shook his head, willing himself to at least speak to the others. No point in lying here and brooding.
He listened to the two she-cats talk with his head cocked, and blinked bright purple eyes, suddenly recognizing Linnetsong as ThunderClan's missing cat. "Your parents miss you, all right. They went straight to the border to accuse us of kidnapping you." he meowed.
The young warrior shuffled closer to the edge of his cage, sticking his long black nose through the bars in an attempt to see or sniff out where the others were. Oddly enough, the cage directly below him smelled of fish. Why did the Twolegs give fish to only one cat? He hated fish, but if it was between that and the pellets, there was no comparison.
Then it hit him. RiverClan! He rapped on the floor of his cage with a paw, trying to catch the other cat's attention. "Hello? Can you hear me?"

A sudden racket from above, followed by a questing meow, brought Fernstar's attention abruptly to the silver den above her own. The trembling in her pelt subsided slightly as she recognized the thick scent of pines and marsh, Shadowclan. "I....can hear you." She mewed softly, her voice trembling slightly as she responded, "You are from Shadowclan, right?" The Riverclan leader's nose twitched and she tried a little harder to discern just how many of the assembled cats were from the clans. The den above her held a Shadowclan cat, and it seemed like a little further down there was the scent of Windclan. Somewhere across the room, she detected the scent of Thunderclan... two cats it seemed. Also, another Shadowclan cat was near one of the two Thunderclan cats. "It seems the twolegs have captured many of us..." She mewed again, at last, peering up at the den above hers.

With a groan, Bramblestone slowly regained consciousness. She closed her eyes slowly and opened them again. The world was blurry, like she was waking up from an illness. Under her fur, she felt something cold, like ice, and her side ached dully; as she groggily took stock of her senses, it increased, pricking her hard. Around her she could hear a buzz of meows and talk; none of it seemed familiar.
Her nose was assailed with a dry, vaguely meaty smell, and the scent of too many cats in too small a place at once; a Twoleg place, all stone and the odd, smooth bark they covered it with. Dry scents, artificial, the smell of the web around her that she could see if she cracked her eyes open; shimmering like sun on ice. Worse than sun on ice, really...
Suddenly she smelled a woodsy smell--moss, mouse, leaf, loam; the smell of ancient cats so numerous their smells had molded into one word: ThunderClan. There were warriors here! She sat bolt upright and looked around. Marsh, frog, pine; reed, mud, fish. "Hello?" she called out. "I'm Bramblestone of WindClan, are there any other WindClan warriors here?" Please let her not be alone since she chased the rabbit into the knot of Twolegs...she couldn't be the only one of her Clan...would WindClan risk several warriors just to rescue one?

Twilightblaze let out a groggy mew as she came too, speaking without even opening her eyes. "Crashsmoke....Did you have to hit me so hard?" The she-cat stumbled up to her paws and found her face pressed against cold bars. Well this was different. Her eyes shot open as she realized she wasn't home anymore. "Crashsmoke?" She mew again, becoming panic stricken. "Crashsmoke? Vemontogue? Whiskeyhaze? Mom?" Twilightblaze asked, waiting for an answer that would never come. The female then backed up into a corner, her ears fanaily catching some of the talk. Seemed like there was a lot of other clans here. "Twitlightblaze from Thunderclan" She mewed in response to everyone giving their names.

Rumsplash continued with her attempts on the bars if they were like ice they should break after awhile right? She sniffled slightly as her desperation started to give way to sadness.
"Plumgaze I'm scared." She whimpered, Rummy didn't know if he cared she was there or not, but they were from the same clan (sorta). She wished she could see him, he was familiar to her from seeing him around camp and such. In that way at the least he could give her comfort.
Rummy perked her ears to listen to the other as the they slowly came too. It seemed cats of every clan where there and in a sizable number as well. Just then an almost familiar sounding voice announced herself as Twilghtblaze from Thunderclan. Rumsplash gasped and pressed her nose against the cage door once more. Just barley across the room she could make the color out it was her sister. She knew so, because her father had pointy out her siblings whenever they had appeared at the border. She wanted to say something she wanted to call out to her, but it would only make matter worse. There were other Thunderclan cats here and Rumsplash was supposed to be dead. If she said something and it got out that she was alive, both her mother and father would be in trouble. Well that's if they got out of here? What if they didn't? Her sister would be the only thing she had, should Rummy say something? For now she decided it best to keep quite, though that didn't stop her from staring at her sister.
