Kohaku had always heard about gods. Nothing praised, as the Pridelands didn't have a direct belief in them, but then Kohaku had never really cared about what the general population cared about. Everything seemed easier if you didn't care; you only had to act like you did.
"Okay...let's see if this works." She had heard once from a stranger that gods answered prayers. While she wasn't really praying, she was certainly hoping for something to happen.
Hiding herself away at the very edge of the borders, behind a cropping of rocks. She merely began to hope that it would actually come.

Ugh. That tug, again.
Why couldn't anyone just leave her alone? With a grunt, Talayeh let herself be guided to where a mortal needed her help. They always needed her help. As long as it wasn't a blasted freak of nature, she would do as asked and move along.
Feeling herself 'pop' into the mortal realm, the goddess opened her eyes to bright orange ones.

It worked! Kohaku could hardly believe herself! She kept to where she was, licking one of her forelimbs in triumphant bliss. Now she would get what she wanted. She stared at the goddess, her mind blank as she admired the being for what she was. Beautiful. It was almost alluring, and for one moment Kohaku was quite pleased that she was not a male. It would be a little too tempting, especially to some males who were too foolish to keep their tonuges shut, she thought with a smirk.

"What do you want?" Tala asked, diving straight to the point. She never did the dance, not with female asking for help. And it was only ever them that wanted her help. She couldn't stand to be near hybrids, as they always asked for the impossible. There was nothing she could do to help a system that was never developed to bear or produce children. They neeed to learn to leave her alone.

Kohaku blinked. Well, this wasn't exactly what she was hoping for, but at least it worked. So she'd get right down to business. "I need your advice," she asked smoothly. "No help with anything that you...gods do." No, she didn't want any sort of powers, or help from those powers. She just needed to know what to do, and who else to ask but a god? Then she wouldn't recieve any awkward questions from her mother or grandmother if she asked them. Just thinking about it made her shiver.

Tala's eyebrows perked upwards as she looked at the lioness. Well, this was new. Usually mortals just begged for the impossible; tons and tons of children. They could just breed more later! Wouldn't that make more sense anyways in the long run? She certainly thought so.
"Ask away, then. I make no promises."

Kohaku nodded "I understand. Mainly, I want kids." She was vastly jealous of those eyes always staring at the mothers, doing what they asked...Kohaku wanted that. She wanted little minions. The desire was there, but the knowledge was not. Hopefully this goddess would fill in the void that she needed to know so she could do what was needed to get the results she wanted. Needed. She convinced herself that she needed children. How wrong would she be.

Tala grunted. "You're asking for a lot when you can just make them yourself, y'know." Tala didn't mind 'helping' when it was needed, but there was no way she could help a female. There was no gender hopping in the god realm. Thank god. Talayeh was quite happy being a female. It gave her much more fun than she would have being a male. The only thing she would change would be the cub factor. Ugh. At least she always found places to dump them when she could.

The white lioness shook her head. "No, no. I would make 'em myself if I knew. Mainly, I don't want anyone to know where they came from." A thin smile grew on her face. "Because I plan on staying here in my pride, I don't want any...unnecissary strings to tie me up in something I don't want."

Talayeh's tail shifted behind her as she thought about it. "A point," she said, knowing that she did her best to avoid any strings that were attached to her. Damn males, thinking that just because they bedded a god they owned her. It made her bristle, but at least she had always gotten away from them.
"You would need to travel, then, to do that."

"Well, yes...but where should I go?" Kohaku asked warily. "I've never left these lands, and I don't know anything about the lions past these borders. While I want children, I'm not going to risk my health for this." Or saftey. She had heard of lions that enslaved others, especially females. She wasn't going to stand for that.

Talayeh chuckled. "You can go anywhere. If you're really frightened of the outside world, go south. The lands there are more to your liking if you're not looking for a little danger." She sweetened the last word, hoping to tease the cautious lioness into doing something more...risky. It was always more entertaining that way.

Kohaku stood her ground though, much to the goddess' disappointment. "I will. What would I do if I find a male that would work? I admittedly don't know the first thing about any of this." She snorted, more disappointed in herself than the fact of what she was doing.

The goddess truely laughed this time. "Now this is advice I can give." She grinned, quite pleased that this request was one not normally asked, but easily offered. "Mainly you need to make yourself desireable. Most males don't realize that what they want is someone who knows exactly what they want."

Kohaku looked mildly puzzled at the goddess as she tried to sort it out. The poor thing just wasn't one for that sort of acting, but she could certainly try. She would just have to tell herself that it would be the right thing to do.

Sigh. How boring, that she didn't hop onto it immediately. "You need to press against him, offer yourself. Be firm, for otherwise you will probably frighten the male, if you're looking for the guillible type." She raised a brow. "Though I do think that is what you should look for. They're quite easy to ensare, and can be quite fun as well."

This talk was starting to embarass the white lioness, but she knew better than to really worry about that. She had to get all of it out of her system before she went on this trip. Hopefully she wouldn't have to travel too far, but she would go where it was needed. She didn't bother to think about the return trip.

"You are so silent all of a sudden. Are you rethinking your plans?" The goddess asked with a facade of surprise, though the corners of her mouth continued to twitch towards a smile. She doubted as much, but it was always fun to poke at a mortal. They were so cute when they got so defensive over something so small.

"Never! I am merely wondering exactly where I should go, that is all." It was a sublte hint for the goddess to give her more than just one direction. South was so broad, she knew that much. Their southern border was large, and Kohaku had been there a few times to realize that there was much more than the flourishing lands of the Pridelands. She had just never had the temptation to actually leave.

"Good. Very good." Talayeh was actually tempted to revisit this lioness to see if she actually succeeded. She assumed that she would, but she would wonder just how successful she would be. Plus, what did she want to do with the children? There had to be a reason that she was so intent on getting children. Something was missing here, but Tala didn't care enough to ask. She would find out later, and then it would give her something to look forward to when she would check in on her later. Moons for the lioness, just a blink of time to the goddess.

Damn. The hint didn't work. Well, she got what she wanted, sort of. It would only have to be worked out once the situation happened, but hopefully she could relax enough to be able to do it. It didn't seem that difficult....but she was never completely sure of herself when it came to acting as something different. Especially when it was so different than what she was used to acting.

Tala ruffled her small wings. "I assume that was all you wanted to ask," she said calmly, almost looking bored. The fun was over, and now Tala only had to see if it would work out in the end. At this point, though, she just wanted to go off somewhere and sleep for a while. Sleeping never did work well, as there was always another tug at her for answer a damn 'prayer'. Ugh. Some days she wished she could just cut that string and leave the world be. Not today, though.

"Ah, yes. Well, thank you for your help." Or what little it was. Kohaku had plans to make on this, and she needed to get herself ready for a true test of character. She'd let someone in her family know, just so they wouldn't worry too much, and she would return before they really began to worry about her. Yes, that would work.

Tala smirked. "Okay, one more thing. Try around the sea, once you reach there. They're all the gullible kind, I'm sure you'll find one there." With a twitch of her wings, and as she shifted her long mane of hair close, she let herself disappear. It was always much easier than actual flying, and it would reming the mortal that she indeed was the one in charge here. At least she didn't have to use any sort of power for this request. Now, to find something interesting to do as she waited...

Kohaku blinked, surprised to see the goddess disappear just as soon as she had appeared. "Well, that was interesting." Shaking her head slightly, she'd remember to see if anyone knew what this 'sea' thing was. She was sure to find it if someone pointed her out in the right direction.
Hmph. Finally, she would aim to get what she wanted. Took her long enough, but now she got the ball rolling. Only thing left to do was to chase after it!
