Just curious, what do you plan to do as a career? Or do you do as a career?

I personally, want to be a mortician/funeral director. No one was surprised when I came up with that one. xD

Full time, Directors PA from mon-fri. Part time, bartender/barista/waitress only on weekends.

@ Gorrific: Mortician/ funeral director sounds like fun & interesting. xd

@ Mega: There's no need to rush into a career you might end up not liking in the future, just because someone told you to do this or expect you to get into to this or when everyone around you is doing the same as everyone else... Take your time on deciding and one day you'll wake up and say "that's what I wanna do"... Other than that, I shot gun the first copy of your comic book biggrin

i've actually got a friend working on the art for one right now, i've handed the script over to her and seen some of her character sketches. now i'm just waiting on the pages so i can do the lettering and then give them back to her so she can do the colors.

Multilingual Management Assistant, BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) or tradenomi, HSO (Helsingin Sihteeriopisto) in Finnish.

I'm currently studying in a Degree Programme in Modern Languages and Business Administration for Management Assistants. Hopefully that went right. O.o

I was thinking of getting into demolition.

I really want to do mixing and mastering, perhaps even one day owning my own recording studio, but the way the U.S economy is going I need to think of something that I can use more in the future. I could go to school for sound engineering and music producing but I know within the next ten years no one is going to be spending money on such luxuries as recording. So I need something to hold me off until I can actually afford to go to school for something like that. Now I just have to figure out what part of demolition I want to go in, I was thinking maybe heavy machine operation since there a school for it near me.

I seriously have no idea.
I've had no idea since I was asked this when I was younger either.

Maybe something along the lines of art or designing..?

are you kidding? in times of recession, sales in the entertainment industry always go up - that means movies, music, books, comics, etc. people may not have as much affluent wealth, but they are in greater need of an escape - something that will let them fantasize and forget about their troubles for a short time. yeah, the industry may not do as well as in normal times, but it'll be one of the better ones to be in

yeah, that may be true. the thing about trades is that there is always a need for them - no matter what state the economy is in, people always have some need for a person experienced in one trade or another.

Yeah, now I just need to narrow it down to which one I want to do, I already know I don't like electrical.
