Anata wa watashi ga zutto mae ni "sayounara" to yutta hito wo omoidasaseru. I little fun project me and some friends are throwing together. We threw types into a hat and drew to see what kind of decks we would have to make. I, luckily enough, drew the old gem of spellcaster.
Remember them? The old "warlocks" of the game with their broken effects and counters?
No?
Well, try really hard to because I'm putting this out to you guys.
While I have already made a spellcaster-based, exodia draw-engine, I want to see what others can think to make out of these forgotten souls.
Rules: 1) You can not use any monsters but spellcasters. 2) The format is traditional. 3) (Optional because of a little wager between my friends and I) Don't include Dark Magician or its support cards.
Sidenote: Yes, this DOES belong here. I am not asking for help creating a deck, I just want to see what others would do in my situation.
You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago.

I'm gonna assume we can't use the cards from the new spellcaster deck so here is what I came up with:

Dark Red Enchanter and Magical Exemplar are in the new spellcaster deck, unless you meant cards that come specifically from the new deck.

Vinny Vinchenzo Dark Red Enchanter and Magical Exemplar are in the new spellcaster deck, unless you meant cards that come specifically from the new deck. That's what I meant cause currently you can get a hold of Exemplar

i'm still working on this, but here's the skeleton: 3x royal magical library 3x Mythical beast cerebus 3x blast magician 1x skilled white magician 10x (any three-star, psychic tuner) 3x teleport 3x emergency teleport 3x Magical Citadel of Endymion 3x magical blast 3x dark synchro (no that's not right... It spec. summons a synchro from the grave) 1x monster reborn 4x (haven't decided yet... best card ever!)
this depends on the cards in your opponent's hand being considered 'cards your opponent controls.' Is that true, or do i have to scrap it? anyone know?
if it is true, this deck can win in one. with Endymion, teleport/emergency teleport, royal magical library/cerebus/white magician, and magical blast

Psychic Commander is currently the only 3-Star Psychic Tuner. + And the card that special summons a synchro from the grave has not come out yet. + And E-Teleport is limited to one. + Teleport is a terrible card to run at 3. + Plus, he asked for cards not available outside the new structure deck, Endymion is not one of them. + Cards your opponent controls are any cards that are on their side of the field, no matter how they got there or who actually owns the card. So no, that does not include the hand. = Scrap it. Try again, preferably with more of a focus on the spellcasters and not turning it into a Synchro deck.

Vinny Vinchenzo Cards your opponent controls are any cards that are on their side of the field, no matter how they got there or who actually owns the card. So no, that does not include the hand. grr. but I would probably question that. "A card you control is a card on your side of the field. You are the player that gets to make decisions regarding that card." the exact text from the rulebook. My question is: does it say 'A card you control is a card on your side of the field' because that is the requisite for 'control,' or because 'You are the player that gets to make decisions regarding that card' is the requisite for control, and if you have control, it is automatically on your side of the field.
