Isen wondered around, it had been a while since he left the place he resided in. He had found his way one day to a stallion named King, and as such was invited to stay with him and his herd near the lake. But he had grown restless and craved to roam for a short while before returning back to his recent home. The ice on his face blurred his vision, to the point where it was so thick as to make it hard to see. He could only really see if he went close up to the object he was trying to look at. As he moved the ice on his hind feet crackled and hissed, making the noise of breaking as he moved.
If Isen didn't move, his feet began to freeze to the ground. And though he could break free of this, it was rather uncomfortable for it to happen. Keeping his head and ears forward he listened as he walked through the forest. His legs moving swiftly and strongly as he trudged through the thick snow. It was a decent day out, this he knew of could be noted. The birds didn't really sing their winter songs, but the normally icy wind didn't carry the cold today. It was just one of those silent days.

Terentia yet found herself wondering through the endless snow planes. She never seemed to see anything but snow. Her home in the mountains was constantly covered in snow and as she came down from her home when reaching adulthood it just happened to be winter. She had heard so much about the other seasons and the wonders that spring brought. Her father had always talked quite passionatly about flowers and she was hoping to watch some bloom in the upcoming warmer months.
The snow crunched from under her hooves. Making tracks where ever she walked. She smiled and looked back at the prints that seemed to streach on forever it looked like she had been walking for a while. She looked ahead once again seeing another set of tracks in the snow. She tilted her head and looked in the direction they seemed to be moving. In the distance there seemed to be another horse she tilted her head in wonder for some reason he sparked an interet. At first she did not know if it was hair or a black sheet that seemed to be covering his head it was so bold against what seemed to be a glass like material on him. She squinted a little bit to see it was indeed ice.
He seemed incredably thin even from this distance she could see his ribs and knew that could not be good for him. He seemed like a person an inch away from death. Before she knew it her feet were walking towards him. "Hello?" she tilted her head and watched him still from quite a distance away. Terentia was always curious about things she did not understand and this was just one of those things.

Though Isen was thin he was very tall. From the top of his withers down he measured a good 18hh. Turning towards the sound he could not see right away what made it. Because the mare was almost completely white she did not stick out at first until she came closer. He could barely make her out but the black and yellow seemed to stick out some. Snorting, his breath was visible in the weather. Though even if it was warm out his breath still would of been visible, almost like he was frozen inside. He did not say anything back but instead started to walk towards the mare after turning around.
The ice on his hind legs crackled and screamed, hissing as he fled the ground with every step. He stopped when he was close enough that he could make out a vage figure and noticed the weird things protruding from her body. What was this being? He had yet to meet anything like this and so cautiously watched as he answered back. His voice was different, almost as if two people where talking at once. One of the voices sounded angry and the other, sounded kind and soft. His white eyes peered out beyond the glass to this strange shape, though by the scent he could tell it was a mare.
" Greettinggss... Is there sssomething you need??"
Isen wasn't sure what was going to happen. Right now though he was judging her. He didn't know what to think about this one and as he stared at her, he peered as hard as he could. Which brought the stallion to one conclusion about the protrusions that pointed upward out of her. He understood now that they where wings. But what was she. Was she an angel, here to send him back to what ever hell he came from? He didnt know where he came from but he did know that for him to look the way he does, it wasn't somewhere pleasant. And so Isen watched her, emotionless and cold, trying to now figure out why she had stopped him.

"No, no I would ask you for anything, after all you do not know me. I am so sorry to disterb you, I just saw you and then it got me thinking. Is that ice on your face can I ask?" she asked with a curious look on her face. She looked at the ice which covered him tilting her head in wonder. It was such a odd sight but at the same time it seemed beautiful.
She smiled and shook her head moving back slightly not wanting to intrude his place. She had this thing for things she did not truely understand and this was one of them. It glittered in the pale light but that must not be somfortable she thought. She flicked back her mane slightly. Was he able to see? the thought came through her mind fast but it did make sense I mean if your eyes were covered in such a material it must be as blury as looking through water.
"Oooh I am so sorry how rude, I have not told you my name. Well my name is Terentia. Its nice to meet you sir." she stated quickly to get all the words out of her mouth in time she was always a little nervous about meeting new people.

" Yes. it isss. I hope that you doont minndd.."
He looked away for a moment before he stepped a little closer. He was not trying to make her nervous or anything at this point, he just wanted to get a better look at her as best he could. Isen didnt feel threatened by her and thus relaxed a bit. His ribby sides lifted and then sank again with every breath though it didnt hurt him at all to breath. He listened intently as she spoke some more, almost seeming to raise a question to him without asking it. All by the simplicity of giving her name.
" Ohh no forgiiivve mee for im the rude one here. I am Isen. Itss a pleasure to meet you Miss Terentia.. Pleasse will you answer but one question for me?"
The two toned voices left his lips, as he inquired still. He would not speak another word until after she spoke. Though he didnt feel threatened by this 'creature' he didnt want to let his guard completely down yet. He looked over her as he waited, noting that her wings where of a different color.
