Reshmi was feeling good at the moment, he had a full stomach after what he would consider to be a very successful hunt with left over tucked away in the next room over for later. He also had his sights set on his next target as well. He'd been watching the comings and goings from a certain building, a lot of strange children, odd workers, and other weirdness... the place looked so normal and he could tell by the scent, or lack there of, that a barrier was in place to keep people from noticing it. He probably would have never really noticed it himself had he not watched a bunch of half breeds go in and out of the place.
It made one really want to know what was inside... and he was planning on finding out. He had to be careful and cautious in his approach though. If something was strong enough to make a barrier that caused people to just look through it... it meant whatever was inside was important and whoever was in charge was dangerous. This made the spider demon all that much more curious...
He walked forward to where his red thread webbing was hanging that doubled as his bed and crawled up into it. He would keep a closer eye on the place, really watch, and maybe he could get his many hands on another of those tasty brats that lived there? He couldn't help but salivate a little just at the thought. There was something about the taste of those half breeds... it was like eating a rare delicacy and made one want another taste. It was all that he could think about as he dozed off, a grin on his lips as he did so.

As the demon slept, his soul was again removed from his body, a ghostly relic upon his neck. Before him floated what seemed to be a door made of grasses all tied together with intricate threads. And the glowy relic seemed to try to draw him towards it.

Reshmi gave a bit of a yawn, as though he were confused about being woken up already... hadn't he just fallen asleep? He gave a shake of his head before walking forward toward the strange door. He tilted his head to the side as he inspected it, lifting one hand up to run it over the intricacies of the door's design.
His eyes were drawn from it to the relic around his neck and he found himself wondering about the strange urgency that he felt from it, the feeling that was tugging him toward the this door. He only had a moment worth of hesitation before he was pushing it open. His curiosity was to great for him to just stand there outside the door for do long.

On the other side of the door he found himself in a strange cave near a lake, the grassy door seeming to lead down from a little hutch and no longer his web. Laying nearby, half in the water, was a large scaley creature. He was seemingly caught halfway between being a man - large and muscular with skin tinted a strange way, a rather crooked nose, and bizarre features - and a beast. The animalistic part of him was a seemingly large draconic creature with about twice as many heads as it had tails - only three tails visible so far.
The man had been seemingly changing into the monstrous form to fight something but had been stabbed before he could finish changing - this resulted in a strange red dot drawn on either side of his neck, though no real weapon was shown. And that darn relic seemed to be dragging Reshmi towards the body.

Reshmi's eyes went a bit wide at the sight and a whistle escaped from his lips, now that was one interesting looking beast he thought to himself as he walked closer to it. Looked like something he'd have wanted a taste of were it still alive. Rather large, impressive, but... taken out by a single strike to the throat? It seemed to be a bit weak despite its size... he almost pitied the thing... stupid creature getting killed so fast.
He reached one of his many hands out to give the single wound a little poke, "Some sort of Achilles heel or something? Just in your throat?" He asked despite knowing that the dead didn't often speak. Unless you were more attuned to that sort of thing which he was not. His powers were in a whole other direction then any sort of spirit medium stuff.

As he touched the creature, it started to glow, turning into almost pure light. The relic as well did so and soon was shooting from his neck into the figure before the demon, causing it to shrink. When the glowing and shrinking ceased, a rather grumpy baby boy with three tails, green skin, and rather large teeth sat there glaring up at him.

Reshmi blinked in surprise at the sudden changed in the dead form of the giant creature... starring until it had become a small child sitting in front of him. And he started to laugh, "Well now... aren't you an ugly little thing?" He said, lifting a foot to give the brat a nudge.
The small boy gave a hissing sound before lunging forward, sharp teeth sinking into Reshmi's leg... wasn't often that Reshmi was the one being bitten instead of doing the biting.
"You little son of b***h!" He snapped, reaching down with several arms to grab the boy by his tail and pulled him off of his leg, "I'm going to kill you!" He threatened before realizing he was yelling such things at a child... then paused for a moment feeling a little bit foolish.

As Reshmi seemed to 'claim' the sprat, a door opened before him, allowing them both to return to their bodies. If the demon tried to put the child back down and leave without him, it'd close again so he really had no choice. Oh well, looks like someone was stuck with a kidling now.
