I am Utterly most happy about this , i was worried a bit that he was going bye bye ( i dont know why) But now i can safely go to sleep at night knowing Jacobs will still be a giant in the morning. biggrin

This was a good move by NY. hes a great back, but still has a little bit to prove. NY took the safe road by keepng him with the tag, instead of signing him to a long term deal, just in case he falls off the face of the earth. I think he will be franchised by the NY Football Giants next season also.

Great move by the Giants, losing a feature back like Jacobs wouldn't hurt the over-all team rating much due to two great back-ups but it would no doubt hurt the New York Football Giant system.

Good move for the Giants. I'm happy that we will have Brandon Jacobs for at least another year. This franchise tag will buy them more time to work out a long term deal, which I hope they can agree on. Jacobs is my favorite current player on the Giants, and he's the best power rusher in the NFL right now.
