St. Patricks Day & zOMG Monster Avatar Contest.
Once again its time for a Holiday Avatar Contest, this time its Two Avatar contests in one.
To enter the contest: Just post here and let us know if you are competing in The St. Patrick's Day contest or zOMG its a monster contest.
Only one avatar entry per human per contest.
You may enter both contests. However, you may only win one contest, not both.
The St. Patrick's Day contest will be an unlocked contest.
The zOMG Monster contest will be a locked contest.
Just let me know when you want your avatar image locked in.
St. Patrick's Day:
Show your love of all things green and or Irish.
(Stories are not necessary for this contest, but you can have one if you wish)
zOMG its a Monster!
Use your imagination, What if you were an animated?
Come up with a short story/explanation of your idea.
(If your having trouble, just think of yourself as a statue that has been animated)
(Also not all animated are evil, you can go with something friendly if you like)
-=Your avatars will not be locked until you ask us to lock them in.=-
(But we will lock all the avatars the final day of voting)
Locked means we save a copy of your avatar and load it to photobucket so its saved.
Unlocked means we link to your gaia created avatar image, so it changes as your avatar changes.
If you have time please friend elffromspace, plasmafire, and Guardian of Myhrr, this will make it easier to send you the clan news letter and special announcements through "My Status" .

RULES AND DETAILS
Anyone who is a clan member may participate in the contest.
You can use one of your mule accounts if you want to, but your mule has to be a member of the clan.
Only one avatar entry per person.
JUDGING
Judging will begin March 9th and end March 16th.
You will be judged based upon what you avatar is wearing during the judging period.
You can also request we lock in your avatar so it won't change as you change your avatar.
You allowed to request 2 changes/updates to your avatars.
(Screenshots of your avatar must created by a clan leader.)
If you want your avatar locked just post in the forum, and send a private message to plasmafire.
You can still enter the contest after the voting has begun.
(But we will not restart the voting once it has begun)
There will be one winner from both avatar contests.
VOTING
You may vote during the judging period March 9th--> March 16th
You will be allowed to vote for 2 avatars from each contest.
In the event of a tie, there will be a tiebreaker on March 15th, between the finalists. If a tiebreaker does occur you may vote for only 1 person.
You may vote for anyone in the contest except yourself.
You can vote by posting in this thread, or sending a Private Message to plasmafire
THE PRIZE
The prize for the winners, will be a March 2009 Thank You Letter

Queen Fiera is a gentle creature to the animated under her protection, but if the ship, which is adrift near Buccaneer Boardwalk, ever makes its way to land, the world as we know it will become a smoking pile of ash, where only the animated can survive.

After absorbing all the evil in the air from the animated, she mutated. Her evil presence makes you weak and helpless. The only way to survive her attacks is by using Teflon spray, then ranged weapons. If you get too close, you are dazed within seconds.

 Dark Chocolate Super Sayan Goku
A kid with very dirty Hands from eating a chocolate bar, starts playing with his Goku action figure, getting it covered in chocolate. Soon after, he leaves, leaving it on his floor. Then, the animated hit, bringing it to life. He destroys all, especially those he sees eating chocolate. Beware his Kamaya-maya Wave!

 Twisted Butterfly
Janitor Tom wheeled his cart in the dark, past the locked doors of the ward. Tonight was the day after "Craft Day" and he had to go clean up. He entered the room and his heart flipped suddenly. There was a man still in here. His back was turned to Tom, but already the janitor recognized him. It was that lunatic artist. Tom walked over and tapped the artist on the shoulder.
"Um, excuse me, but why aren't you asleep?"
The ex-artist turned his head, and the janitor tripped over his feet as he flinched backwards. Before the man lay a sculpture of a creature, a creature with fangs, glowing eyes, and spiked wings.
"Do you like it? It's a butterfly." The madman leered.
"Um...yeah..." He hurried out of the room.
The next morning, the janitor had forgot about the incident, the artist was back in his cell, but his "sculpture" was gone. Animated. Now the thing was out in the world, gliding through the air, following the sweet scent to its next victims. It was not very big, but when it bite into you, boy did it hurt.

 The Stained Doll
Natalie always had been in love with her porcelain doll Felicity, ever since her grandmother presented the present to the little girl. Felicity had a special place on top of Natalie's dresser, amongst but in front of all her other stuffed animals and dolls. Felicity was special. Her little ruffled pink dress contrasted the electric blue hair that made Natalie giggle. Felicity became the primary attendant to afternoon tea parties, along with Mr. Pickles the Bear and Malibu Barbie, always returning to her special spot when the occasion was finished. This routine continued for months, until one afternoon when Natalie came home from school to find Felicity ruined. There were black spots all over her clothing, covering and replacing the light pink Natalie had come to love so much. It was impossible to clean Felicity, as the color had infused with her porcelain skin. Natalie was infuriated. It turned out that her brother had borrowed her without permission as an "art" subject, and had in turn spilled India ink on her. Natalie refused to allow Felicity to attend anymore tea parties, neglecting her atop the dresser. Then the day of the Animated came, and the little girl came to regret her actions.

This celestial being was once an acquaintance of Queen Lorelei. However, Queen Lorelei sought to make humans her enemies while Lady Cosmos desired to be neutral. The pearls she wears were once a gift from Queen Lorelei before she was struck with madness. Lady Cosmos wanders around the night sky, stopping often to watch people dance by the bonfire on Gold Beach. She drops Blue Pearls into the Shallow Seas, hoping that maybe Queen Lorelei will regain her sanity and make beautiful jewelery once again.

I may enter both, since the challenge sounds fun. Hmmm.... I could try to dress as a water spout!
I would like to suggest that we might, for fairness, rule me out from winning this round since I won the last contest. That way we can have some more variety of people win! But I'm still dressing up and playing along.

For The St. Patrick's Day contest, all you have to do is wear green, or something Irish, or both.
Just tell me you want to join, and if you want your avatar locked or unlocked.
If I do not receive a request to lock your avatar, your avatar will be added to the contest unlocked.

I am the homeless leprechaun. After losing more than half the gold of my leprechaun clan, they kicked me out, telling me never to come back unless i have the gold. They also put a spell on me that will very slowly turn me into a troll (hence the tail and ears). Now i live in the wild, in a small little clover field, with the native fluffs. I am cursed to follow all rainbows I see because they may lead me to my lost gold. Empty gold pot in hand, I set off on my journey.
