Udo looked around with a soft sigh. He normally didn't like taking a nap, or sleeping at all during the day. When he was a very little cub he used to do it all of the time and also used to stay up all night, however now he was scared to death of the dark, if he had some one with him, mainly his adoptive mother he could deal with it a little better. But over all these days he wasn't that into sleeping during the day which would make him stay up during the night.
However right now that was different. He was tired very tired. He wasn't that sure why he just was tired. He sighed though his nose. There was nothing else to do but to sleep too. Today was so boring to him. He wasn't feeling all to great eaither.
Slowly he started to make his way to a tree, it looked nice enough to lay under and catch some sleep. He was sure that no one important was looking for him. Were they? He shrugged at the idea and curled up into a tight ball under the tree, making himself look like a big orange blobl.
Well that didn't stick out much?

Korrin had found he had little time to spend with each of his siblings these days. With the birth of Siti's litter there were simply too many...he missed Jishin, he'd found, and Udo was likewise busy and often out of touch. That was why today, while the others were sleeping away in the den, he'd set out to find his bigger brother.
It wasn't that hard, leaping about in the trees gave him a bird's eye view, and soon enough he'd spotted the one he wanted. Curled up in a ball a good some feet below, was Udo. That figured. Just when korrin found time to visit he'd gone to sleep. Well no matter. He could always do with another catnap. If Udo didn't want to play he could at least nap with him. Or on him, as was more likely.
The nimble serval was down the tree in a black flash, and he sniffed at Udo's side. "You'll be up tonight, I take it?" He asked, half expecting no reply. He knew well how stressful the dark was for his brother. Why he couldn't fathom though. Wasn't it normal for cats to like the night as much as the day?

Udo'Tau blinked as he heard a voice, it caught him off guard, he was pretty sure that no one was looking for him but apparently he was wrong. It took him a moment before he looked up, it was his brother's voice. As he looked up his idea was proven correct. He smiled softly at his brother then finally answered. "I'm not sure. I was just starting to sleep." He smiled before stretching his paws in front of him and started to wake himself up some.
"So what are you up to? Today is pretty lazy..." He made a small face at the idea, he hated these days. The day that he didn't mind being out and about was the day that he couldn't find anyone. He was glad that his brother found him right now. It was welcomed that's for sure. He now had something to do. He was one of the few lions that actually really got along with his brothers that's for sure. He got along with all of his family. He loved them all. Even if they weren't true family he still got along with them really good.

Korrin grinned when Udo stirred and wasn't angry with him. He'd have hated to upset his brother. Still, it'd likely be for the best he stay awake now. Korrin didn't think less of Udo for being afraid, but he wished the problem would be resolved. Udo should know he was safe here with them. "Sorry I woke you. It is sort of a layabout day, isn't it? The cubs are starting to get big enough that we don't have to constantly watch them..."
Korrin joined his brother on the ground, curling up back-to-back with Udo. What would they pass the time doing once the cubs were even older? Hmm..."Udo, do you know what you'll do? For the adolescent ceremony, I mean." He would have to go out too, though he was full grown already. He thought he had a job he wanted in mind, but then one never knew. "Maybe we could go together...?"

Udo chuckled and shook his head to his brother. "Oh its alright Korrin I was just kind of sleeping to be sleeping." Then he chuckled he couldn't help it. "I have to say it is very much, and the cubs are getting bigger, soon they will be big enough to go out on their own." He laughed softly. He acted pretty mature for his age most of the time. He always seemed to have acted a little more mature. It was just him.
He smiled as his brother laid down next to him. He closed his eyes, not in sleep but relaxing. Enjoying the breeze that was going around. His brothers question caught him off guard. He looked back then let out a small sigh. Nipping at the others ear softly before shrugging. "I really do want to go off on my own..." His voice trailed for a moment. "I'd love to go off with you but while I'm out... I don't know I feel like there is something that I need to learn on my own." He sighed as he looked down at his paws. It was true, there was a few things that he felt like he just needed to learn by himself, there was a few things that he needed to get out of his mind.

Korrin flicked his nipped ear, smiling a bit. They'd become not only brothers, but friends since joining Siti. In the back of his mind a voice piped up that he'd had another brother at some point...Somehow it'd started to matter less and less now that they'd found a home. Things were good here.
He felt a little disappointment at Udo's rejection, but he could understand it. "It's okay Udo." He leaned over so he was draped half-on, half-off his sibling. "I don't mind if you want to go it alone. It's not like we'd never see eachother after that, right?"

Udo'Tau chuckled softly as his brother nipped at his ear. He couldn't help it, he really never had had that many siblings that he did now... Well he did but he never stuck around with them, him and his sister took off and that was about it. She was always in the back of his mind, he was going to have to find her some time these days...
Then his brother speaking brought him back to this world. "Thank you." He said to Korrin understanding. That made him feel better. Then he chuckled slightly. "I plan on coming back as soonas I can, and as long as you have the same plan then we will still see eachother a lot." He flashed his brother a grin nipping at his brother's ear with a chuckle.

Korrin abandoned the conversation for play when Udo bit him again. With a fake-hiss, he clambered onto his brother, (gently) stomping his feet and bouncing a bit, as if he were smushing the big orange male. "So you think my ear's tasty, huh? Well you know what!" He then gave Udo a big wet lick, right between the eyes. "You're not too bad yourself!"
With a laugh he sprang up and off Udo, latching onto the side of the tree they'd been under, and scrambling upwards to perch and stare down, tail swishing teasingly.

Udo'Tau blinked a few times as his brother climbed up on him then started to jump around. He really wasn't suspecting that. Until he started talking did he realize what his brother was doing. HE chuckled slightly and made a face pawing between his eyes to get the slobber off before standing up. He flashed a grin before started to claw at the tree and make his way up.
"Hey get back here." He commanded before he chuckled again balancing the best he could. "Just because I'm big doesn't mean I can't get up here too!" He swiped out a paw missing him then pausing to catch his balance once more.

"No! You gotta catch me first!" Korrin hooted down at Udo before scrambling higher. Udo was larger, but he had the genes to balance well...It had been a while since they'd played in the trees. Most of the younger pride members were lions, who could climb but not balance as well.
Korrin laughed. He always had fun when Udo wanted to play. With a graceful leap he soared into the next tree. "Come on then! Just try to catch me!" He was careful to stay on the larger branches, the ones he knew would hold his brother up too as they raced about in the canopy.

Udo'Tau chuckled softly, holding his balance easily, flicking his tail around behind him, he was glad for his genes at the moment, when he could go around in the trees and climb around with out a problem, it was always fun to him. "I'm gonna get you!" He insisted, he pulled himself up trying to keep up with his brother, that was one advantage the black creature had over himself was his size.
And it wasn't really that long until he was making his way closer to his adoptive brother with a chuckle. "See I told you I'm going to get you!" He laughed with a goofy grin growing on his face as he balanced himself on the branches.

Korrin let out a little play yell of terror at seeing Udo gain on him. "Noooo!" He wailed, leaping to yet another tree. Below he could see other members of the pride looking up at them as they passed. Most were lions, including some of his siblings, and that made this play time with Udo special. They could climb trees certainly, but not play in them like he and his orange brother could.
He clambered up a bit more and perched far out on a branch, watching Udo creep closer. Maybe he could escape yet! "So Udo! Do I get to chase you after this?"

Udo'Tau laughed as he chased after his 'brother'. He loved spending time like this these days. He used to spend time playing only once in a while with Hahali. That is when she some how got him to play. He wished that his sister was here, he wished she could see him happy and running around like this. Times like this was when he wished she was really here. He was more that sure that Siti would happily take her in too. He almost forgot what he was doing for a moment before he heard Korrin call something out. It took him a second to process what he was saying before a smirk grew on Udo's face. He started to run a little fast before he was right behind the other feline.
"Now why would I let you do that." He grinned before he gently swiped out a paw, slowing down and ballancing himself on a branch as he held on to the other male with a paw, grinning ear to ear. "I win." He said smugly.

Korrin squirmed as he was pinned, but he was happy to let Udo catch him. Soon they'd be apart and then there'd be no one to play wtih...he wondered how long they'd be separate, and he hoped it was not a permanent thing for either of them.
"Awww you got me." With a twist he'd gotten free and he bounced deftly up to a higher branch. Looking down he could see several of the other pride members watching them and laughing at their antics.
"I'm going to miss this, you know? This relaxing and quiet. It's funny, I can't remember what it was like before you and Mom came along..."
