Laiyre stands in a medium-sized stone building. It is a smithy, and she is currently hammering away at a piece of glowing metal that will eventually be a sword. Nothing much eventful has happened lately - no new or picky customers, no visitors, nothing - and she muses over this as she works. Things have been dull. Too dull.

"Hi, Laiyre!" Ayeali races in, as fast as her kimono allows, and plops down on a stool. She cocks her head, peering and peeking around the insides of the building, but knows better than to touch anything. Realizing she can only name one tool - the forge - she grins and laughs at herself. "Nice place you have here. Much business, lately?"

Laiyre shakes her head and smiles, as she hammers the steel one last time before putting it back in the coals to reheat. "No, nothing really... it's a bit strange."

Stepping through the doorway he gave a soft knock on the framing of the door as he stood there. "Good morning Laiyre. If you're not too busy, would you mind doing me a favor and sharpening my blade?" He brushed his coat off to the side and drew the katana out quickly, holding it outstretched he laid the side of the blade in his other palm. Despite having dulled a bit in time, it still would cut through flesh like butter.

jjax walks in, breeze preceding him through the door..."how are you? how's business?" he walks over to the potential sword, looks like its gonna look good, you are quite skilled...smiles..."i am searching for the components to forge a magical sword, but i have no smithing skills...i wish to imbue it with the winds fury, however there are many things i must first retrieve before it can be made...do you think that when i collect these things that you have the skill, and the willingness to craft my blade?"

Seeing first Rythen, then JJax, produce business, another smile quirks Ayeali's mouth. "Well, tis strange no longer. Do you mind if I hang around and watch your smithery at work, Laiyre?" She nods a greeting to Rythen and JJax.
((OOC - Laiyre began in present tense with good punctuation. To keep continuity, could we please continue that? wink ))

Rythen nods to JJax and then to Ayeali smiling slightly. "I didn't realize Laiyre had any company, am I interrupting?"

"Oh, no! Not at all. I'm just a busy bee that Laiyre just hasn't shooed out yet!" She muses over the phrase a moment. "Or a cat whose curiousity hasn't killed it yet..."
Ayeali pauses, finding no more possible phrases. "Oh, well," she shrugs to herself, then raises an eyebrow at Rythen. "Why in need of a sharpened sword, hm? Are you going on a quest, also?"

"No, there's no quest for me. I just like to be prepared is all. It seems trouble has a habit of running into me." Rythen sheathes his sword since it seems Laiyre will be busy for a little while. "...and what of yourself? What brings you here?"

The smith, meanwhile, gives a grin at all this, before getting to work. "All right, then," she decides, "Ayeali, of couse you may hang about and watch!" She then realizes the magnitude of this phrase.
"...just don't touch anything you can't identify. Rythen, I'll gladly set to sharpening your katana in a moment, and..." she looks over to where JJax was standing, and notices that he's gone.
Giving a little pout, she remarks, "Pity... if he'd have stuck around a little longer we could have worked all the details out now... In any case, Rythen, let me see your sword."

"Is anyone here?" a low voice asks as a white and silver suited young man reaches the entrance. Upon his back is a cracked dual-cut blade carried without a sheath. He breathes in the cold air outside the area and knocks on the frame of the door awaiting, an answer.

The young man nods and shows her his cracked blade. "This blade slain 20 too many...May you fix this blade?" the young man asks holding the blade by its hilt.
