Loopy sighed softly as he sat down on the couch. It was Valentines day. One of the best days for the years for couples and yet...... He'd yet to see Rag. In fact, he didn't know how long it had been since he'd seen Rag. They'd both been so damn busy and... Well, Loopy was one lonely tem. He missed his Rag-doll!

Busy, so busy! He was lucky he'd found time for this at all, what with helping Ducky on all her projects. A five-page paper, a scrapbook on Gabriel Farenheit, and a packet for math, which everyone in the house knew she sucked at; it was hard to get anything important done.
Carefully slipping into the shop, a bouquet of roses and a heart-shaped box of chocolates in his hands, he quickly spotted Loopy and smiled. Timing couldn't be more perfect. He snuck up behind the lighter brown Tem, moving the roses into view and grinning from behind him. "Roses are red, violets are blue, and yet the flower store was completely out of the latter of the two." He found it hard to keep from giggling, and stifled it only barely. "But they were practically threw this box of sweets at me."
He twirled around to face Loopy from the front, a grin on his face, and he knelt down, holding both out. "Sweets for my sweetie?" he said, suave and gentle.

He jumped as a thing of roses suddenly took up his vision, but his grin grew as a very familiar voice began speaking to him. As Rag moved around and offered the sweets, Loopy grinned for a moment then suddenly leapt forward and kissed Rag, wrapping his arms around the other tem's neck. "I missed you!" He exclaimed as he pulled away, grinning widely. Rag was so sweet!

Rag blinked, barely having enough time to register what was happening. Unfortunately, it was not enough time to prevent himself (and Loopy) from falling backwards, and with a loud "Ack!" he felt the air rush past his ears. A soft 'thud' resonated as his back made contact with the floor, and he quickly melted into the kiss, pressing back with a sort of ravenous hunger. He whined slightly when Loopy pulled away, staring up through half-lidded eyes.
"Missed me?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Quickly, he wrapped his arms around Loopy's waist and hugged him tighter, grinning cockily. "Really, now. And here I thought you were off gallivanting with some girl. Soothes my soul to know you weren't." He arched up on his shoulder blades to kiss him again, his fingers brushing along Loopy's sides. "I'm almost positive I missed you more, though," he breathed huskily, nipping at Loopy's chin. He grinned. "Should we make some cookies, then? Or would you rather skip that part and go right to the sex?"
He laughed at his own joke. "Kidding, of course." And another kiss for Loopy.

Loopy purred, blushing heavily at the look Rag gave him before his blush deepened. "Some girl? Why how could you think I'd drop to that?" He asked with a mock gasp before he bent his head and pecked Rag on the nose. "As if you'd let me pick making cookies even if I wanted to." The tem laughed, returning Rag's kiss again.
"Should we head upstairs? We wouldn't want to scar the children. Or Sophie." He teased, kissing Rag on the chin. He sat up, grinning down at his lover. "Or we could go make those cookies...."
(Hey, do you think Karo would mind if I rp'd the custom I won in October even though Karo hasn't made him yet?)

He snickered. Would he let him choose? He didn't know himself.
Rag ducked his head into Loopy's chest, breathing deeply and sighing contentedly. "Cookies or otherwise, I don't care. As long as I can spend now with you," he whispered, smiling softly. He'd almost forgotten how much joy it brought him to simple sit and hold Loopy, caught in the now. He could loose himself in his scent, never needing to surface.
He glanced up curiously, a gentle look in his eyes, and flicked his ears. "Personally, it seems... tasteless to go so fast. Besides, it shouldn't be a superficial holiday, right? So, cookies it is." He smiled and winked. "Who knows? Maybe we could leave them out for Cupid if we don't finish them all, and we'll be blessed with a lifetime of love and happiness, neh?"

Again, Loopy's blush darkened and he kissed Rag's head. "I love you, you know that?" He asked softly before chuckling softly and adding with a soft purr, "My lovely Rag-doll." He hugged Rag close, kissing the side of his neck.
"Fine, fine. Cookies it i-" Loopy suddenly cut off, turning his ear towards the door before he looked towards it. Was that? He frowned, climbing off of Rag and moving over to the front door without a word. As he pulled it open, the noise of a wailing baby filled the store and he stared down at the baby with wide eyes before he glanced around. Abandoned? Loopy frowned deeply as he bent down and scooped the little tem up into his arms, turning back to Rag as he tried to soothe the little gray creature.

Rag felt his neck heat up. A soft, persistent growl rocketed up his throat, and he nipped gently at Loopy's chest, grinning. "I love you, too," he said, tilting his head to make Loopy's endeavors easier.
Rag was just about to suggest a type of cookie when a sound caught his ears. He blinked, confused. He knew that sound, and it's return made him uneasy. He leaned up onto his elbows, his ears cocked and his eyes bright. Why had someone left a baby? He cringed, and remembered Zinc's arrival to the house. It had been far more traumatizing than Dinah's arrival, or even Gaelenth's, and he had seen what knowing could do to a kid. Sure, Zinc was all flowers and buttercups on the outside, but at home, he was desperate to fit in, despite the fact that every one of the Tems in Ducky's house were in similar positions.
Including himself. After all, he'd grown up on the street.
He stood, meeting Loopy half way, and quickly assessed the baby, checking it for wounds or any sort of ailment. When he was satisfied, he looked at Loopy, smiling softly. "He seems fine," he said, the relief heavy in his voice. "But, if whoever left him did so permanently, he'll need a name and a place to stay..." Rag frowned, his sentence dragging off.

Loopy stared down at the baby in his arms, watching as it slowly calmed and stared up at the other tems with large blue eyes. He'd always wanted to be a father.... "I've got room at my home. I'll take him in." The brown male stated firmly, a small smile creeping onto his face. "Having a baby shouldn't be too hard..." Loopy kissed Rag lightly on the chin. "What do you think? I can take care of a baby, right?"
