Ezekiel, is a hatchi they are a race that found their way to Masquarade in a shuttle crash. He is a mischevious little scamp and seems to have an insatiable curiousity. So far Kasai doesn't seem to care for him too much, refering to him as a 'monster'.

Small creatures about the size of mice, with wings that allow them to fly.


Burton tends to stick close to Kasai, a somewhat excitable creature; but a very loyal one when it comes to the Fire Masque.


Wicked has taken to Cinder much as Burton has taken to Kasai. Her personality is by far much more explosive then the other Nef, when around Burton she has a much more dominate personality.

*Cinder sits at a table the broken remains of the transporter in front of here.*

Hey 'sai honey...could you do me a favor and grab me a size five pressure wrench.

*hands one to Cinder*

*Continues working on the broken transporter and then looks up* Hey how did you know that was a size five pressure wrench?

I have been watching you. *looks up curiously* Can I help you?

*Cin looks over at the complicated device that she was working on and then back to her boy. He had been watching her but didn't know the complicated ins and outs of this device or any devices.*

How about something else 'sai?

*looks around a moment and pulls down a laptop. It is slim and light not weighing more then a few pounds, but with enough power to run a small ship. Turning it to face Kasai she flips it open*

*Looking into the smooth perfect screen, he grabs it after a moment.* What can I do with this?

Well, you can type and write with it. Also I used something like that to create Mycroft.

*eyes get wide and he grins* I want to create something like Mycroft, hmmm, only I will make mine a girl and it will be super powerful and do what I tell it so I can do things.

Oh really all that. *Laughing slightly at her boy's excitement she scoops him and the laptop up taking them to the couch, then she sets them down.* Just remember you have to walk before you can run. Start with the basics and learn how to type. Maybe start keeping a journal.

*Cin goes back to working on the transporter device, smiling she sits down as she hears Kasai typing his first unsure keystrokes. Then she looks up at the Transporter, she was trying to fix it so it would actually work the way it was suppose to and tap into the transportation lines that had already been put up. After tinkering for a few moments more, the machine starts to make a small humming sound.* Now I am just going to have to see if it works.

Cin looked through the grating in the air duct and thought about how lucky she was that the Rejenics had stolen such an old ship, it was old enough that it still used a duct system large enough for a human to crawl through. Peering through the grating she can see a Rejenic walking down the hallway - this one has gone way past just normal cybernetic full body replacement. It didn't look human anymore, clanking along the deck loudly she could hear the shifting of it's large mechanical legs and then realization hit her, the damn thing had been put together with powered armor. Well, she decided as long as she didn't have to try and shoot it she should be alright. Crawling forward Cin pulls out one of her screwdrivers and starts taking out a section of grating.

Jumping down she lands as quietly as possible looking down the corridor, she can hear the rejenic she saw earlier clanging down a corridor somewhere behind her, but by the sound of it's steps it would not get to her anytime soon. Moving quickly she goes down the corridor, trying to be careful in her haste. A grin came across her face as she moved...she could see the shuttle bay where her ship had been pulled in at. Persephone said she would meet her there and if she knew her co-pilot and gunner she would have the ship warming up for her.

Turning he corner Cin, knew she was right, she could see the lights on the ship glowing and the ramp was down. Quickly she moved up it and went to the c**k pit looking for Persephone. They had to get going she thought, the rejenics would realize they weren't in there cells soon. Reaching the c**k pit Cin realized Persephone wasn't there turning back she saw that the ramp was closing on it's own. "s**t," Cin turned and ran toward the doors - she wouldn't leave without her co-pilot. By the time she got to the back of the ship the doors where closed, slamming herself up against the door panel she starts typing in the command to override. As she does so the ship starts firing up on auto pilot.

"Miss Fae, please strap in for flight, I have been programmed to get your started on your journey."

Cin turns to the speaker for the ships AI, "Open the door Celius, I swear I will dismantle you!" Cin turns looking out the small window in the freight door she can see Persephone moving around in the docking bay, opening a crate. Then she realizes what is going on Persephone was going after the Alpha...angrily Cin kicked the door hearing Celius's voice in the background.

"I am sorry but we are getting ready to take off. I have been programmed to preserve your life."

Cin ignored Celius for a moment and watched Persephone work at getting the Alpha set up for flight, they had worked their butts off to get ahold of the large mech unit. It seemed that Persephone wasn't going to leave without it. "I will just have to have a talk with her when she gets back in the ship...about how dangerous trying to save the unit was." In the next moment Cin's heart skipped a beat, from the corridor she came out of earlier she could see the guard coming toward the bay. The large cyborg hybrid was coming straight toward her co-pilot.

Cin reached for her blaster and then realized that it would not help her in this situation. She was trapped in her own ship by her co-pilot's AI, and a large cyborg hybrid was walking toward Persephone. With no other option Cin threw herself at the ship's door hoping to create the slightest of sounds to draw Persephone's attention. Soon enough she realized Persephone knew the cyborg was coming, the white drac turned her head toward the corridor as he came through the doorway. Then as if entranced by the scene Cin saw he wasn't alone, from out of the corridor human sized cyborgs where also running toward her. Persephone turned to face her foes as she heard them growing closer, her work on the alpha unit forgotten. Blaster raised she started shooting at them as they came from the corridor, Cin grabs a tool from her tool kit and pops the panel off of the door lock. If that b***h of an AI wasn't going to let her, she would get herself out.

Outside Persephone shoots down some of the smaller cyborgs down, aiming quickly and precisely she takes out their main brain in their chest area. Three of them lay on the decks of the ship green coolant pouring onto the metal. The larger cyborg fused with the powered armor comes toward Persephone ignoring the bolts from her blaster. Cin can feel the warhammer start to move as she fiddles around inside the panel, sweat runs down her face and her hands shake with frustration as whe looks for the wire that will set her free....

Glancing up Cin see that the large Cyborg had reached Persephone, reaching out one of his hands he lifts the white drac off the ground. Cin slams herself into the observation door as she watches Persephone's wings and tail twitch well she is being suffacated to death. "Celius, open it now - " The rest of Cin's sentence was cut off as her ship leapt into hyperspace, throwing her against the wall and unconcious.

After she woke up...she disassembled that AI.

Cin dropped down the tunnel to the mining area below. She had to carry word to Hephaestus of Persephone's death - he was Persephone's mate and as Persephone's friend and partner she felt it was her duty to carry word to him. At least that is what she kept telling herself, the truth was Hephaestus scared the crap out of her. He was a huge blue drac easily the size of a black and he had never liked her. As she approached the apartment she could see a white draconian child playing down the hallway, that would be Clotho she thought. Please spare me having to tell Persephone's child that she is dead. Cin felt as things were going her way for the first time today, as she tapped on the door and the child didn't even seem to notice the visitor at her house; this changed however as the door opened. Standing before her was Hephaestus and the look on his face told her he was already figuring what she had to tell him.
The large blue nodded to her slightly bidding her to enter, "Where is my mate human?" Hephaestus's voice rumbled as he spoke, his black glossy eyes demanding answers. Cin moved uncomfortably in the chair she had taken watching his claws flex, she hadn't ever seen a draconian in a full rage and was hoping she wouldn't today.
Cin cleared her throat and subconciously let her hand fall comfortably to her blaster, "Persephone fell, we got hit by that new regenics group and seperated. When we went to meet up in the ship it was running...I thought she was on board. When I went onboard I couldn't find her. I saw her outside the view window and went to grab her. She was trying to save the Alpha that we had 'acquired', the couldn't get the door of the ship open. I was being held by Celcius. She wasn't answering to her commands and completely disreguarded orders. I think Persephone gave her some sort of command that she was refusing to open the doors..." tears threatened to spill into Cin's eyes - she fought them back, she would not show weakness now.
Hephaestus looked over to his mate's former co-pilot and curled his lips his fangs flashing then he spoke, "So what you are saying is that you were not strong enough to save her? Or are you saying that it is Persephone's fault she died - that she was too incompetant to program her own AI!", Hephaestus rose to his feet with a roar.
As he got to his feet Cin did the same, she let her anger fill her and strengthen her - Persephone had been her friend for over 15 years they had trained together on the same freighter and Hephaestus was not going to lay the blame of this death on either of them. "Don't even start with me Hephaestus! Persephone and I both made mistakes, these mistakes may have lead us down the path to her death - but she was killed by regenics! They are the ones to blame if you want to find the source, but I wouldn't suggest going after them. The bastards are strong and hard to find - they will wait until you are out of rations, tired, and cold. Then they will attack and kill you."
Hephaestus glared at Cin, the small human was making some since. He crossed his arms, pushing back his emotions. "You lay blame with her AI, not with yourself. I think you are just weak - if she hadn't been with you she would be alive."
Cin cocked her head to the side and looked at him, "Celcius was unstable, Persephone was still working on her. I shouldn't have let her make her compatible with the ships main systems, as I said before we made mistakes. But if I hadn't been trapped on the ship, no one would be coming here to tell you of Persephone's death. Because we would both be dead."
The blue drac seemed to deflate a little and sat down on a stool lowering his head he put his head in his hands. Trembling slightly he just sits there...
From behind her Cin hears a soft voice, "What is wrong? Where is my mommy?" Turning she sees Clotho standing in the doorway.
