Had it FINALLY stopped snowing yet?

Her sanguine gaze flicked absently across the fresh powder, scrutinizing it carefully to figure out how much of a pain it'd be to slog through the stuff. She'd loved it as a filly, when it'd been new and mysterious, but now she knew it was only cold, wet, and liked to clump up in her fur! Still, Rebel had to admit to herself with a grin, she could act as young as she wanted, whenever she wanted! Her red streaked tail swished back and forth for a moment as the mare took a deep breath, appreciating the fresh air before she set off. She hadn't come her to just dawdle, after all. Not when there was a pair of her favorite numbskulls lurking nearby!

The snow crunched lightly under her hooves, the sound broken only occasionally by the jingle of loose chains around her neck. "Oh, dearest family, come save me from this torment!" She sighed dramatically, lengthening her steps so she was practically staggering about in the white fluff. "Is there not one attractive stallion out and about in this world for my amusement? I'm not asking for anything impossible, am I? Surely we can't be the only good looking family nearby!" Her grin, if possible, grew a bit wider, and the unicorn paused just outside the edge of the forest.

"Someone had better be in there... I didn't start up this dramatic rant just to hear myself speak, ya know." Her tone had relaxed into something lazy and playful, a puff of mist exhaling from the pink end of her muzzle. Last she'd seen, her brothers had been hanging relatively around here.... Had they moved on already?

Devil was feeling pretty chill at the moment. Unlike his sister, he had accepted the snow despite it also being somewhat of an annoyance. He was over it, and yet he enjoyed its chilling color. It was at least easy to spot others when they were clashing against it, so to him it was rather helpful as a tool. He could spot other mares from a mile away! For today though he was lucky that his sister was so noisy since she blended in rather easily against the snow. If it wasn't for her talking, he probably wouldn't have seen her approaching! Or payed attention, for that matter.

With a light grunt he made his way out of the forest and gave his sister an amusing grin. What was she complaining about? Apparently he wasn't listening well enough. "So what's the matter?" Another chuckle left his mouth as he glanced at the symbol on her back. She was such a nice mix of their parents and he enjoyed remembering their youth for a brief moment. It wasn't like those memories were over! But, he was all grown up now and ready to get s**t done!

"So, did you miss me or something? Couldn't stand being away from your brothers?" Oh yeah, where was Persy? He glanced behind him to look for the red figure and wondered what he was up to. "Ah well, it will be nice to catch up, relax, make fun of others." Because hey, they could do that all day!

Persaeus had perhaps wandered the furthest away from 'home' when he had sprouted. The very instant he had shot up to rival the height of grown stallions he had packed his bags and darted off to lands unknown in search of well... Honestly he'd never been too sure. It wasn't that he was merely a flighty individual who couldn't sit still, but he had long since come to the conclusion that he needed to see more of the world and eye up all those mares he had heard discussed in the past. Ah, if only he had known when he had finally touched on the plains that he would spend his life pursuing the females in order to sample them and simply tally them up. Suffice to say he was a complete jerk on occasions.

But he loved it.

Nevertheless the weeks had passed by with relative ease and his idle wandering had turned out to lead him in a circle. Well, it was a messy circle and probably looked more like a scribble on a map if one were to track it but he was back where he started. Thrusting his hooves through the snow with only a slight hint of scorn towards the white substance. He had never truly been bothered by it, but like his brother he had come to respect it for it's uses - for a start, mare's were more incliend to snuggle up to the nearest male for warmth and that made his job even easier!

Alas, his red coat clashed heavily against the pristine snow and he wouldn't go unnoticed for long. He may have had less decoration to make him audible on approach but he'd never needed that. Then again, apparently he would never need it at the rate his sister was going. His meandering came to a halt as he heard the over dramatic 'wails' coming from nearby and he couldn't help but raise a brow. Her words were becoming suitably more ridiculous as the charade progressed. It was laughable but then again, Rebel was his sister and could get away with that.

Not soon after her charade had ended did he catch the sound of his brother's voice and with a small chuckle he took the decision to join the pair. Rounding over the top of the snow mound he came to a halt as both Devil and Rebel conversed before tilting his head to the side and releasing a small, yet dark chuckle.

"Sister, as much as I appreciate your existence there is no way you possess the funds to persuade me to rescue you from your torment..." he pointed out teasingly before rolling his shoulders and making his way down the mound. "Besides, I thought you liked the sound of your own voice, nyah?" He stuck his tongue out promptly and nodded towards Devil after that.

"Sup?"

Ahh speak of... well, Devil! Her ears pricked idly at the sight of the dark stallion swaggering out from the trees, pleased to see him as she sidled closer. "Course I did! Figured you both needed an intelligent mare in your lives every once in a while." No, she didn't say she cared much for the company her brothers kept, but hey! She was biased, of course. It'd take a hell of a lot to convince her that anyone was good enough for this family--though of course she'd toy with the stallions and make them think otherwise, at least for a bit.

"Nothing wrong with a little sibling bonding from time to time, huh?" Rebel grinned, straightening a little to glance at the crimson form of her other brother. Handsome, both of 'em! It was little wonder how they drove the mares crazy. "Aw, Persy, don't flatter yourself too much now!" She had to laugh, giving herself a hard enough shake that the chains wrapped around her neck rattled. "And that's true. A regular siren, I am." She batted her eyes exaggeratedly, letting them roll up in the back of her head to hopefully add to the deranged look.

Well, now that the gang was all here... "So! Tell me 'bout your adventures so far, huh? Been sampling all the treasures this world has to offer?" If there was one thing their family agreed on (besides their obvious beauty), it was the description of 'treasure'. Of course, Rebel mused, a good spark of danger would be well worth passing up a pretty face anytime.

Leave it to their sister to get everyone together! It was amusing how loud Rebel was most of the time. She must have loved the sound of her own voice. But then again, Devil also enjoyed his own voice compared to others. So he couldn't blame his sister's confidence. "Intelligent mares? I didn't know those existed." he chuckled loudly while making sure to wink towards his brother. "But yeah, I'm down for a little chatting. I suppose I can take the time in my day for the both of ya's." And with that, he moved himself so that he was comfortable lazing up against a nearby tree. Sup was right!

He watched Rebel as she responded to Persy's comments and could only grin at the three of them as a whole. They really were something, weren't they? It was no wonder their mother and father were so proud. They had all grown up as children that would make their parents proud. Despite his jokes or cattiness, Devil would never forget the importance of his family. His parents had respectfully taught them just how amazing they were, and he wouldn't allow his parent's reputations to suffer in any way. He was sure his siblings felt the same way.

And, as far as his life was going... "I suppose I can't complain. I have yet to find a true treasure, but then again, I am rather specific and particular in my choosings." he shrugged his shoulders lightly while glancing back and forth between his siblings. "So, what about you two? Rebel, are you handling all of the stallions who ruthlessly chase after you?" Well, isn't that what she wanted to hear? From what Devil could tell, the stallions in this land WERE that ridiculous and idiotic. It wouldn't be hard for Rebel to find some bait to play with. "I'm interested to hear how your encounters are going, Persy." he then added, while watching his brother. "Do ya need any advice?" Ha! As if!

Advice! Him?

Persy's usual smile flicked onto his lips and he cast a level stare towards his brother. There were times when he often toyed with the idea of taking the jokes seriously just to play a game of his own but after a few moments he simply chuckled. Shaking his head, he rolled his shoulders dismissively in response to the question and mulled over the rest of the conversation for the time being. Trust Rebel to find a way to bring them all together again, even when they had wandered off in their seperate directions - there was no denying that the mares of his family had talent.

"My encounters have been fairly monotonous," he replied after a suitable amount of time. He rolled his eyes as if to emphasize the problems he faced in the lands beyond their home and then snorted. "As you say, intelligent mares are like diamond in the sand," he continued albeit bluntly before flashing a small smirk. Boring and lacking in intelligence they might have been but he wasn't adverse to going ahead with his plans anyway. They hadn't ended up with child, he had been pleasured and he had added more notches to the post - what he wanted wasn't about intelligence anyway!

"Treasure alludes me as much as it alludes my loving brother," he teased. Satisfied with his explanation of his own activities he returns his gaze to his sister and echoed his brother's query with equal curiosity. "And you, Rebel? Fending off all those stallions well enough I expect - even if I have yet to see a tamed Skinwalker dandering about!"

She'd almost been hoping for a showdown, what, if her brothers started going at it! But Persy had that look on his face, and she almost imagined she could hear the gears turning. But it seemed things wouldn't change today, and she chuckled softly as both her brothers admitted their findings had been rather the same. "All fluttering eyes and head tosses? Pity. But hey, who wouldn't want in this gene pool?" She could almost see it now--mares lined up to throw themselves up for a shot at one of her brothers! Think if they got themselves saddled with kids! It was enough to make a grin threaten to come to her face, but she had to wonder if either of them would stick around if that happened. Hell, she wouldn't have a choice! Not till they were old enough to fend for themselves, anyway.

"Would you expect anything less? It's almost sad--like teasing children." She let out a long-suffering sigh, letting her tail twitch. "And that's just because you haven't learned to be patient yet, Persy! One day, you'll see. Maybe you can show me your treasure then too, eh?" She gave herself a shake, still amused with the long-running joke that had ascended from childhood. It'd certainly kept her busy back then!

"Other than that, not much's been going on. I've been thinking about venturing more south maybe--see what sorts are clumped around there. I might even go up to the mountains..." She had to grin again, knowing the snow, if possible, would be even worse up there. And it'd be dangerous! 'Course, that just made it all the more appealing. "So hm. Suggestions? Comments? Concerns?" Her eyes lidded smugly at that last bit. As if!

Devil took the opportunity to relax while his other siblings were interacting. Although the tree was itchy against his side, he was too lazy to stand up straight, so he supposed to trade-off was worth it. He watched the facial expressions of Persy and the body reactions of Rebel as the two spoke towards one another. Even with their grown up bodies, things hadn't of changed at all. That was the most enjoyable detail for Devil to recognize, since even as children they'd swing their bodies around in the same manner.

Heh, was this sort of reaction to their youth a realization that he was indeed getting older? Well, crap. He supposed that meant he should start living his life more! But hey, he had been busy. It wasn't like he should worry too much. But, it was weird to think about their transitions throughout life, though.

"Mountains?" he finally interjected, while raising an eyebrow in surprise. "Why would you waste that much effort to go somewhere so unknown? Plus, who knows if tons of Soquili live up there. You could just be wasting time and energy if you ask me. Time and energy that could be spent in many other areas." Pft, and that just wouldn't be worth it! Well, at least to him.

So yes, that was his suggestion/comment/concern. He then swiveled his head towards his brother's while shaking out his mane. "Have you heard anything else about the mountains?" Devil may have been too lazy to ever find 'true' information out, but when it came to his opinion, he would be happy to tell and show it. "Rebel, if you are looking for some playmates just hang around the noisy areas. There's always packs of soquili that you could choose from, and you rarely have to work hard." And once again, the laziness appeal came out again!

"Fluttering lashes aside they still have their uses," he shrugged loosely, another notch on the bed post so to speak and another conquest to speak of later if they were even worthy of such a mention. That being said though, the red stallion had absolutely no intention of staying behind if one mare was stupid enough to find herself with child. He took necessary precautions to ensure it did not happen but he had heard stories of mares who had deliberately pushed their luck. It was their freedom that would be lost not his and he would be damned if any mare was pathetic enough to try it. Still, if one could take a step back and observe the situation (so to speak) one could also see the amusement that could be drawn from it.

Ah yes, mares so desperate to cling to a stallion they could flaunt as though an item, how ironic that they were objects to him.

Nevertheless he was a patient sort sometimes and humoured certain mares to a degree, particular conquests would hold his attention for as long as he needed to bed them. That being said when it came to his sister and her attempts to tame a skinwalker he was not of the same mindset. That competitive streak within him demanded that he see the fruits of her labour and as of yet she had failed to do so. As her brother he should have been happy she hadn't encountered one but the other half...? Well, there was no need to say that he quite liked the idea of her getting clouted at least once just so he could point out he was right!

Sibling love was a wonderful thing.

Still her desire to travel was nothing new to him and the stallion released a sigh through parted lips. All in all her choices were fairly mundane and simple but he was on the side of his brother to an extent. "The mountains require too much effort and yield very few results," he concluded plainly, his brow raising somewhat. "Devil is right in assuming it would be a wasted effort - there's a hell of a lot more stallions for you to torture down in the lowlands... they're also a damn sight more idiotic too."

Rolling his shoulders, the stallion once again began to flick his eyes between his siblings, each unique in their own way yet so similar in others...
