Well, can't say I've experienced anything similar in the last five to ten years... But back when I was younger I had several visions and strange sightings.
I had several instances of future sight when I was young. Nothing major, several toys arranged in a certain way... And then a few weeks later they were there.
Then there were the cryptic ones. The boy alone in a field. He turns to look towards me and the the "vision" ends.
And lastly, the "White Beast" as I call it. Wolf like in shape with a huge flowing tail wrapped around it's feet. It stood almost as tall as the trees behind it placing it around 20 feet tall. Thing was, this wasn't a dream... I think.
I feel kind of stupid posting this stuff since I really don't believe in magic and other such things... But I can't really explain these instances using conventional sciences. I've also heard somewhere that "psychokinetic" abilities are strongest when we are younger.
So, have any of you had similar instances? And if so or if not, what might you know of such occurrences? I'd like to piece together some of reasons for these happenings.

I don't really know all about how these things happen but I have being seeing future events all my life, mostly in dreams. Once, when I was in high school, I dreamed that I rode the bus to school as usual and as usual went to my locker as soon as I got there. But when I got to the place where my locker was, my locker was not there. In fact there were not any lockers there. I woke up thinking how stupid that dream was. How could the lockers disappear. They were a solid fixture of the school. So I got ready, got on the bus and went to school. When I got there I went straight toward my locker. Imagine my shock and horror when my locker was not there! There whole row of lockers was gone! After a panicked search I found out that the school had moved them somewhere else. My mom used have the same ability. I remember her telling me that one time when she was younger she was sitting on a big rock outside. As she sat there, the thought of fire suddenly entered her mind. She got up from the rock and moved away from it. As soon as she did so, the area around the rock caught fire!

Fun... I haven't had any such instances since I was young. But that is enough to spark one's interest so I developed a strong interest in the paranormal. Though I don't like these people who portray themselves as having great powers... Like these television psychic investigators. "Oh! I see a man... And he used to live here. I'm so amazing!" It's just plain annoying and holds no proof.

When my brother was young he went to a palm reader who told him he had a short life line and would die at a very young age. That prediction ate away at him as he grew up. I think there are a lot of people who believe they are psychic but really aren't or who are just scamming people. There's a book I found that says readings should only serve as a guide for people to make better choices in life. It called this psychic ability "intuitive knowing" and also said everybody has it to some degree, some more than others, but everyone can learn to develop it.

I don't know if it's psychic or not but doesn't everyone have that time to time? I get it from time to time too. Nothing cryptic like your though.
Not a "vision" like fancy terms but I think of something and it happens kind of stuff. For example, I just think of this food (not because I want to eat it) and I see it later. I think of certain TV show scenes and I get to watch it later. Before the episode begins, I know what episode it's going to be(not because of TV schedule, I just randomly turn it on, I kinda know what's going to be on next) I think of some random person and I see him/her later.
Stuff like that, I thought it was pretty normal though. I didn't really talk to anyone about it because well.....I thought everyone was like this.

Psychic dreams i still have and i used to record them but im just to busy and sometimes lazy to write my dreams down anymore. I can typically tell the difference between my psychic dreams and just vivid ones.
It is entirely possible that you dreamt of another plane several psychic (reputable ones not those quacks who only do readings for peoples money and the fame they get). have told about other planes of existance theres around 6 or so including ours. And some of the other planes have odd creatures in them of course then you could have also been dreaming about the other side, home, heaven whatever you want to call it who knows. Or its open to interpretation every dream has a meaning
