This was just announced two days ago according to their official tour website, after some fans from asia thought they were going to be performing in China: Daftalive.com Denial. Daft Punk is not playing in Shangri. The band are not touring this year (2009), and at no point were they approached for this show, and at no point was there ever a possibility that they would do such a show... ...All Daft Punk shows are announced on the bands official Myspace site, and we urge fans to check the site before purchasing tickets for shows... ...Daft Punk look forward to visiting and performing in China as part of their next world tour, in 2010 or 2011So that's it then! Gah.. going to a completely different country to see them perform. Totally worth it in my book but the problem is would someone as simple as I be capable of getting there? How much would a trip to China cost anyway?

... Since it's a WORLD tour, I'm sure that they'll not only go to China, but in North America again.
So no need to have your panties in a knot about saving major money on going to China :B

I haven't worn panties in years. Boxers are more comfortable. Maybe if they tour in Canada I can smuggle some booze on the way back to this wretched 21 law country. But I live in Texas so somewhere in america would be preferred.
