A.) Anne Rice was a porn book author. And the one I read a little from was kinda ******** up. Gah. burning_eyes Why'd I have to find out it was porn like that?!

B.) Interview was boring as hell. I prefer The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned.

Yes, Anne Rice did write erotica under a nomme de plume, but has since made no effort to hide it.
You can, in fact, find those titles listed in the inner pages of some of the other novels she's put out.
It's also true that she's incorporated a lot of eroticism into a lot of her more modern works. The Blackwood farm run, as I understand it.
I've never read any of those, nor have I read Interview.
All I know is if you want her best writing you want Queen of the Damned to start with, then go on with Tale of the Body Thief and Memnoch; the Devil.
Also, in neither the vampire or witch series, there is a book called 'The Mummy, or Ramses the Damned', which is fantastic. I read that first of all her books.
