Official Skillet Guild Rules
Overview
The Official Skillet Guild is intended to be a safe place for Skillet fans of all ages to enjoy Communications. Clearly insulting other users, individually or as a group, directly or indirectly, are not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: name-calling (e.g., "you're an idiot," "you moron"); direct insults and orders (e.g., "screw you,"); insinuations (e.g., "are you stupid or something?"); or insults towards family ("your mom..."). Also, please do not exclude people because of "not being cool enough" or being "too new" and such. Just don't exclude people because of stupid reasons!
Trolling (inciting flames)
Messages intended solely to annoy and/or offend other users by going against the clear nature of a board, topic or chat room are not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: provoking other users to respond with flames; provoking fans of a particular genre or band, especially on boards or topics dedicated to that genre or band; making misleading topic titles; asking obviously useless questions; and posting false information as fact.
Impersonation
Impersonating other users by creating and/or using a user account with a name clearly intended to impersonate, mock, or antagonize another user, or otherwise falsely claiming to be another member is strictly prohibited. Illegal Material
Illegal Material is NOT to be posted on this message board. This includes:
-Posting materials soliciting involvement in illegal business schemes.
-Anything dealing with hacking, cracking, phreaking, and keygens.
-Providing or linking to software viruses, trojan horses, or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
-Any pornographic/hentai related materials.
-Impersonating another person or entity of our staff and other members, including falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.
-Any violation of privacy such as full names, residential or business address, phone numbers, social security numbers, credit card numbers, e-mail address, pictures of subject or subject's family/friends/pets/place of residence or employment/study, IP address, and any passwords, unless they are your own.
Plot Spoilers
Posting "spoilers" (critical plot details) about games, movies, time-delayed broadcast events, or other media in the title of a topic or in a message without a clear notice is prohibited. To discuss such information in a topic, users should leave the title of the topic as vague as possible, ensuring that no mention of the actual spoiler itself is included, and include a warning (e.g., "SPOILER") in the topic title. In a message post in a non-marked or otherwise unexpected topic, users should leave several blank lines in a post after a warning before revealing any vital plot information.
Basic Rules
Only the Captain (Axxerous),Vice Captain (Prince of Synful Shadows), and Crew member Philonious may edit a post of any kind, unless we give a crew member permission, or unless the post is COMPLETELY INNAPROPRIATE, which means it breaks atleast three rules, or is full of cursing and/or innapropriate material.
No one may delete or edit my posts (without permission)
You must follow the rules of the Topic you're in
Crew cannot ban, demote, edit posts, edit topics, delete topics, move topics, or anything of the sort without given permission. crew is elected to monitor the guild and report problems. I believe that their power is incase we need a HUGE move or action taken and need people to help out. DO NOT ABUSE YOUR POWER CREW.

Moving Threads
Our guild has subforums, and as such we would love for you to post in the respected forum. This allows for discussions of a certain thing in a certain area. However if you post in a the wrong subforum two things may happen: 1.) Your thread will be locked, and a moderator will ask you to move your discussion to the correct subforum. 2.) Your thread will simply be moved, without warning, to the correct forum.
Repeat Threads
We do not want too many repeated threads, such as two threads for John Cooper in the same forum, so please, search for the thread you want to make before you make it so we can keept it in one and not get overcrowded. Also we may also lock and/or delete your thread if we already have plenty of threads on the topic.
Forums There seems to be some confusion about forums so let me explain what each subforum is for:
Other Christian Bands - Where you can converse on all of the other christian bands besides Skillet.
Chatterbox - Where all chat not relating to Skillet or any other Christian band will go. Anything can go here really!
Your Talents - Post about things you are skilled at. You can post art, stories, poems, or just brag about yourself and any talent you have!
John Cooper Forum - Talk about anything related to John Cooper of Skillet, post pictures, links to videos, whatever, as long as it is about John!
Korey Cooper Forum - Talk about anything related to Korey Cooper of Skillet, post pictures, links to videos, whatever, as long as it is about Korey!
Ben Kasica Forum - Talk about anything related to Ben Kasica of Skillet, post pictures, links to videos, whatever, as long as it is about Ben!
Jen Ledger Forum - Talk about anything related to Jen Ledger of Skillet, post pictures, links to videos, whatever, as long as it is about Jen!
Previous Band Members - Post about any previous member of Skillet or fill ins!
"Skillet" era - Post about Skillet's record entitled "Skillet" or about things relating to Skillet during the years that this was their main record!
"Hey You, I Love Your Soul" Era - Post about Skillet's record entitled "Hey You, I Love Your Soul" or about things relating to Skillet during the years that this was their main record!
Any questions, concerns, and comments you can either post in the "Captains Chat" Sticky
This can be about why a thread was locked. If you created a new banner. If you just hate the rules. If you want to know upcoming features for guilds. If you have any questions about Gaia in general- I get this a lot- like how to signatures and what are guilds. Don't worry I'll answer any question to my best ability.
Any violations of the rules above will be edited, deleted, or locked from future posting and viewing. All topic subjects having nothing to do with the forum in which they are posted will either be locked or deleted or most likely transferred to the forum in which they belong. Individuals involved in breaking the rules above can be banned from our Guild. If your messages are deemed harmful, you will be banned from entering the Guild again.

If you don't like a song or something or anything else we're talking about, say politely, "I dislike so-and-so or this-and-this". It's not nice if your like "OMFG! GOLLY I HATE THIS BAND OR I HATE THIS PERSON!" That's a big fat no-no and you'll get banned.

BAN WARNING
If any member is caught breaking three rules in a short time span, they will be banned. Warnings will be issued after every offense, but three strikes and you are out. We have already had to ban a member who broke three rules in one post. Watch what you post.
