Golly I enjoyed that. Although don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the Dreamwave preview comic way back when, you know, the discussion about football. The comic itself ended up spending too much time fighting some... evil... metal liquid thing, but we've talked about that in the past.
Onto IDW's game. Got the Autobots cover The new kids, at least the two we've seen, seem to be entirely tolerable, honestly I was a good bit reminded of Runaways when reading this, which makes sense considering Varity is one.
Holding off on Prime and Megatron though, is -great-. The first page, I mean, before the comic, lists characters by silouettes. I think we might be able to guess who shows up in what order in the next few issues.
This could go either way, very fast, and I've already made my deposit.

It looks like the Seekers are based more of of Star Screams's Energon toy then his G1. Also from the preveiw of the next issue Ractet will be different as well.
I like what I've seen so far. Unforutuately we have to wait till January for more?

I really like the way it has developed so far as well. The new premise seems to have a lot of promise.
I am still sad we won't see the end of Dreamwave's storyline though. I was rereading my issues a few nights ago and I really liked the way it was going.

I finally managed to pick up the new Transformers preview (it hit the shelves over here without much fanfare, which was a little discouraging). I grabbed one featuring Optimus Prime verses Megatron on the cover, which I believe was the best of the four readily available varient covers. I haven't actually gotten around to reading it yet (got sidetracked by the 'Universe' issue three that I also picked up), but I will do so tonight. The Transformers don't actually feature much, but then again, then never do in the preview stories, huh? It seems that all of our favorate mechs from Cybertron are being redesigned for this new series by IDW, which I'm uncertain how I feel about... sure, they're only minor alterations (updates, more like), but it still doesn't quite feel right. I wait and see how I feel about this come issue 1. I don't like the whole 'RiD' aspect of the Transformers already operating in secret, however... it just seems too tacky to me. Bet ya this is the road the impending movie will take, also. Anway, I'd best sit down to read this thing and post what I actually think of it once I've done so. 3nodding
