How to start.. How to start..., Hannah thought to herself trying to come up with an idea for a song. It usually wasn't this hard. Why was it taking so long? She could sing but couldn't think straight. She sat the pencil down, fustrated, and strummed a few strings on her guitar. Why couldn't thinking be as easy as a few simple chords? This is turning out to be harder than I thought.... She turned her head, blinked, and then exhaled a deep breath.

User ImageIt might've been the sound of the guitar that called her. As with most things, whatever Fortune had been doing suddenly ceased to be interesting as something else caught her eye--or ear, in this case. With an eerily quiet grace, she slunk through the grass, following the sound until she saw another female audio, her bright accents practically shining like a beacon from her black fur.

Interesting, she thought to herself, coming up behind her, careful to keep out of the other audio's sight and remain perfectly quiet--not too difficult over the sound of the instrument.

Maybe with just a little luck you'd think of something?

Hannah smiled and strummed a few noted and started to sing a song she had written. She smiled and giggled a little bit and then grabbed her water bottle and took a drink. "Why is this so difficult?! It's so irratating..."

That was better, if just a little. Curious as to what the girl was writing, she leaned over the other audio's shoulder to get a better look at the notepad.

"You should relax a bit; it sounds very good," she complimented. Her voice wasn't musical, but it was a pretty contralto tone that matched the slow grin that spread across her muzzle. "I'd tell you if I thought it looked good, but I can't read music."

Hannah jumped abd blushed. "It wasn't that good really. It's just something I do on my spare time." She giggled. "And you don't worry about it's looks. Just it's sound." She suddenly flared wiht a shock. "How long have you been listening exactly? And who are you?" She was curious and kept her tone as unmelodramatic as possible.

Shrugging, Fortune straightened and padded quietly across the ground to settle on the grass next to the other audio. She was intrigued now, wanting to hear more.

"Not long," she answered vaguely, waving a hand negligently. With a sly glance, she added, "And I'm called lots of things, but you can call me Fortune if you want. You are?"

She smiled, hunching back over her guitar. "I'm Hannah. Why were you so intrigued in watching me? I'm nothing special. I just sing. That's it."

Hannah cast a glance back at the notes and started playing them. She started humming and said the word out loud and sang. "When life get's you down there's no where to turn I'll be there."

"You're interesting," Fortune said simply, not bothering to explain herself more than that. With a somewhat eerily focused, but friendly gaze, she watched curiously as Hannah's fingers danced across the strings of the guitar.

"You don't just sing," she said with a smile, "you play, too. And you do both well. Why put that down?"

Hannah smiled. One of the first complements she got. "Wow. Thanks?" Her fingers twiddled with the guitar.

She smiled even more when Fortune said what she did, her eyes glimmering. "I do play guitar. And the Piano. And the drums." She looked away. "Fortune? Come with me! I wanna show you something" She raced off in the direction of the music shop.

Up for anything, Fortune grinned and followed Hannah as she dashed off. She didn't have any musical talent herself, but she could amuse herself with the people or audios there, look over the instruments.

"Seems like your kind of place," she said with a small laugh.

Hannah blushed. "Uhhh actually.....," she began to admit, "it IS my place. I own this shop. Well... Studio. It's a recording studio. It's always been my dream to make it big in the music industry. So I opened this shop." She grinned. "Fortune? Do you have any friends?"

"Nice." Simple and straightforward, but that was her way--at least, when she was talking. She was impressed that the other Audio had a music store. At her question, Fortune's brows lifted.

"Friends? Hmm, I suppose so. Do you?"

She shurgged. "There's Sinclair, and Judas, and You." She smiled, turning her recording light on, singing a few bars.
