I thought we would need this subject sooner or later. I thought I would start it because it is my first and favorite anime in the world.
So welcome to the Evangelion forum
Just post anything about Neon Genesis that u feel like. But I don't feel like getting into fights over the meaning but I would like to hear peoples thoughts on some of the "deep meanings" of the series.

this series was great. i'm glad there is a new story for it i can't wait to by the manga instead of reading in newtype.

Yups. Just like Ghost in the Shell and many of the Studio Ghibli works. Also Astro Boy since we all can't forget him.

I've read Volumes 1-6 or 8 (I forgot).
As for the show, I've only seen what they show on AS

I'm borrowing the first 4 vol. of the anime and I read up to 7 or 8 in the manga.

I've only read the first 2 volumes of the manga. What I like is that if you read the author's notes, you can tell that the creators really thought about the character, and worked hard to give the story a message. wink
|
