A brightly colored female centaur was sitting quietly underneath a tree, looking quite bored with herself and the landscape surrounding her. She daintly picked up her tail and started to pick at it lighty getting rid of small debris that had been caught in there. "How hard is it to keep the world clean for one day?! Just one day!" she demanded angrily.

 Berries. Berries for a pie. Berries for his cattaur daughter. Oh, geez, he didn't want to have to do this today!! It was cold out and, even though he was overjoyed to have his little girl back, she was staying with Luke and Vesna anyway!! Along with... some other kid he couldn't recall the name of. The naga grumbled to himself, glancing around for bushes, before he looked up to come face-to-face with a centaur who was almost as bright as he was in different shades.
"Er- thorry about that," he stated, blinking at the female with wide eyes. "Didn't thee you there." He slithered backward a little bit, before back himself up and looking around the rest of the tree, as though there were going to be any bushes around it. Doubtful; especially when they were out-of-season.

She looked up from her tail, peering at the Naga rudely. "You better be." she grumbled as she went back to grooming herself. "And why're you so scared? Aren't you a man?" she demanded. "You should be more forceful. Geez..." she muttered. "They're getting weaker everyday..."

Syem blinked abruptly at the questioning of his manhood, glancing in surprise at the female seated beneath the tree, though he didn't really look like he had the emotionally capacity to be offended. "My thintheretht apologieth, then, for not being forthful enough to thomeone I don't even know," he said, blinking a few more times and peering at the other for a moment before going back to his search, having spotted berries at the end of a bush that was growing up into the higher parts of the tree.

"What?" she scoffed, "Ith that all you can thay?" she mimicked his lisp. This was some Naga indeed. She had heard stories that they were mean and deceitful, but this one was the total opposite. Palladia laughed rudely at Syem, not caring for his feelings.

Syem flopped himself in a split in the tree's large trunk, letting an unamused gaze fall onto the centaur, the basket hung from a limb above him. "Well, actually I can thay quite a bit more than that," he replied with a roll of his eyes, extending the long fingers of one hand to summon a strange kind of wind that pulled the bits of twig and other things in the female's tail out. He wasn't completely sure why he was talking to this girl; it wasn't as though it was doing anything for his self-esteem.

Palladia smirked, "Well it does seem like you can do more." she approved pleased that the twigs were now gone from her tail, "I should thank you shouldn't I?" she grinned slyly. How would she thank him? She knew she definitely would not help him find whatever he was looking for, she would not be a housemaid...maybe...if she taught him to be more...assertive? Yes. That would be it! This poor boy was too meek. Palladia stood up, looking victorious. "I shall teach you to be a real man!"

Syem couldn't help sighing a bit as he slithered up the tree just a bit more, making sure to keep a decent amount of himself on the ground as he reached beyond his grasp with his magic to grab a bunch of berries that had been dangling from a vine that had grown up the tree. He blinked his eyes widely when he was apparently going to be taught to be a 'real' man. He shifted his gaze to the female to stare at her blankly for a moment, eyes wide. "You... are going to teach me... how to be a man?" he asked, as though he'd somehow heard her wrong.

"Why yes," Palladia tossed her hair to the side, "I'm sure you are very popular with the ladies, with your colors and all, but you should know that some women like a challenge." She glanced up at the Naga wrapped around the tree, "So what d'you say?" Palladia crossed her arms and looked at him getting impatient.

Syem chuckled a bit at the 'popular with the ladies' comment. Well, to a point; that is, if they didn't think that he was one of them. "Actually, I don't really think that I'm looking for anyone at the moment," he commented, which was true given he was as close to mated with Wateni as he could get without the two of them living together. He leaned over the fork in the tree backward, orange-tipped hair falling with gravity as he raised an eyebrow at Palladia curiously. "'Courthe, I wouldn't mind hearing what you have to thay on the matter."

"It doesn't matter if you looking or not looking. What man doesn't want to be popular with women? Hmmm?" she retorted. "After all, someone that looks like you doesn't stay single for long..." Palladia smirked. She had to admit; he wasn't a bad-looking Naga, but that didn't mean she was after him. He was much too weak for her. Palladia rolled her eyes, "What's your name anyways? If I'm to teach you, I should know your name."
"I have a lot to say on the matter." she raised an eyebrow.

Syem shrugged in agreement in regards to the first comment, before giving a roll of bright red eyes at its follow-up. "Maybe I should be happy that my thubmithive nature hath kept me from being torn apart by femaleth, then," he noted, slipping out from the crook in the tree's trunk to settle himself by the centauress, watching her curiously.
"My name ith Thyem," he noted, before hissing to himself at the inability to pronounce his name yet again. "Here'th hoping you can figure out ecthacily what it is," he said, a surprisingly note of sarcasm in his voice as the tip of his tail swished to either side softly. "Good that you have a lot to thay, 'cauthe I'm not tho sure that I do. Shall we begin?"

'Oh please.' Palladia thought, "Thyem? That's your name? Thyem?" she put her hands on her hips looking at the Naga in disbelief. "First. We have to fix this lisp of yours! You should learn to speak properly!" she stamped her hoof impatiently.

"Sssssyem," he hissed with a definite glare, definitely uncharacteristic, flicking his tail back and forth irritably. "And we don't need to get rid of my lithp," he stated with a pout. "The only reathon for it ith becauthe I wath raithed by a huge group of four-leggerth, and it wath a bit odd that to thay my etheth I would either have to lithp them or hith them, and the latter appealed to me much more," he said, nodding his head firmly and going around the tree once more to retrieve his basket of berries.
"And otherwithe I do thpeak properly," he said, crossing his arms as well. Well, at the very least he was learning how to be confrontational. And who better to teach something like that than... this... centauress. He raised an eyebrow. "Bethideth, what'th your name?"
