He set his eyes out on the river and took a step in, lifting his very curled tail the water actually felt nice. It was a genuine spring day…it was warm with a slight breeze…but overall it was amazing and he couldn’t have asked for anything better. The sun was out, few clouds and the birds were going a mile a minute, it was almost too perfect.

Kaishara spiraled out of a puffy cloud with a sigh, the careful tuck and fold of her wings second nature, and therefor requirig little thought. So instead she sulked about the lack of adventure -and romance- in her life and her overprotective father's good intentions.
You know what the Kiwanis said about those good intentions..
What did the Kiwanis say?
"Oh what does it matter?" She muttered as she dove toward the far-below ribbon of blue. "Perhaps a wade will cheer me up... Perhaps I shall meet another Soquili..."
Somewhat cheered by the prospect, she tucked her wings and dove with a piercing whistle. Falling like a sparrow, she pinned her ears and stretched out her forelegs, letting the fierce wind of her descent whip her mane and tail out behind her like silken banners.
If she knew the water was deep enough, she would have slowed a bit, but not bothered pulling up. As it was, she couldn't risk breaking her neck with such a stunt (said her father, the world's biggest daredevil when he thought no one was watching)...
Carefully she judged the distance and let her wings snap open as she pulled out of the dive, being very cautious so as not to break a wing. "Where to land?"

He looked up at an unfamiliar sound, he knew it was a wind flying but it sounded like it was gliding upon the water or something. He flipped his long mane from his face to look up and just around the corner he saw a female wind hooves grazing the crystal water getting splashed every second. He looked at her face and saw a familiar marking, the mask?
She couldn’t possibly be related to the ones back at the teepee. Erik’s family? That would truly be interesting, he was starting to wonder which of Erik’s kids she belong to if it were one of them. Ares didn’t particularly like Adonis, but Isis and Erik were okay. Erebus was never around; he was always with his brother Set. He couldn’t and didn’t want to imagine what they were doing.
He watched as she had a befuddled, yet amused expression upon that soft face and how beautiful that soft face was. He smiled softly as he whickered once, to see if she would notice….

With a few testing swipes of a foreleg she decided she'd be able to stand in the water, so with a tilt of her wing Kai came to land someone close to shore, but still in the cool blue. The water lapped at her haunches, splasing at her multi-colored rose and letting her mane and tail float around her like captive rainbows and shadows.
The soft greeting had her turning her head, tossing it slightly to get her mane out of her eyes. She smiled at the handsome stranger -partially to be polite and partially because it was her nature and partially because he was handsome- and took a step or two towards him. She'd not really ever met a Uni before....
Ashrialto was partially alicorn, but that didn't really count.
"Pardon my intrusion on your solitude." She crooned sweetly. "I do apologize, but it looked so lovely from the air I could not possibly resisting coming down for a better look..."

“No apologies needed m’lady,” he smiled genuinely. She was ridiculously pretty, she was a wind though. He and winds rarely got along because they would always take off in flight and he would never bother to try and catch them. Too much of a hassle for him to worry about. Their were many more fish in the sea, and he knew this all too well. He watched as the water droplets dripped from her coat and her mane pooled around her like a silhouette.
He bowed lightly to her as he looked to her and edged a little closer, he could almost not control himself. “I am Adonis, you look vaguely familiar…do I know you?” his eyes looked to her. Surely she wasn’t an ex fling he had and had forgotten about. He wasn’t that shallow, he remembered everyone he was with. She looked very interested in him…perhaps she had come to get a better look at him than the water. He smirked to himself, that couldn’t be possible for she was around the bend before he even saw her. Maybe she was a stalker! That was cute; he couldn’t stop thinking about it but his pink pupils were still on her light blue eyes.

"I'm loathe to intrude, if that is the case, be sure to tell me... I'd leave right away." She gave a self-depricatng shrug. "But it is a lovely spot..."
He was very handsome... And a true pleasure to talk to. She liked talking to stallions, always had... It made Papa crazy and that was fun... But this one, well, her father was nowhere in sight and still she felt like cuddling up to him.
The question had her shifting nervously and tilting her head. Mask or rose? Not that it mattered, either way it wasn't hard to guess who she was related to... And she had a feeling he didn't know her mother.
"I... Carry traits that run strong in my sire's family." She said at long last, bobbing her head in a faint bow that made her water-hued mane dance in the river. "I am Kaishara Immareska de la Phantom, Daughter of Aureate who is the Phantom of the Golden Rose, who is son of Erik, the Phantom himself... Most know one, if not the other..."
She flicked a wing and gave a bell-like laugh. "Most just call me Kai."

"Why should I make someone so sweet leave, that would be horrid of me...what would that say of my character," he shook his head at her. "No no, I am already enjoying your presence," he smiled.
"Erik...a hah." he exclaimed. "My herd mate, Erik father of Ares, Isis and now Erebus. I live with them, small world, huh?" he smirked as he looked to her. Aureate...he was the high strung one right, at least thats what Isis said that and a push over. Was this morally or ethically wrong? It wasn't like he was doing anything, they were just talking. the problem was what he wanted to do what was the problem.
"Kaishara Immareska de la Phantom...very catchy," he joked. "Kai, I like it. It suits you a beautiful name for a beautiful girl," he grinned as he waded through the water his own mane pool around him and dipped his head under the water to clean his mane though it straightned it out as it cascaded around his own face. He smiled at her, "You seem like a girl who has stallions running up and down hills finding the perfect flowers for." he winked at her.

"You are very kind." She smiled. "And I thank you, I to find myself enjoying this chance encounter."
So he knew grandfather then... She nodded. "Isis is my father's sister... I have seen her from a far but not the others... My uncles... Perhaps one day I'll meet them..."
She frowned as she folded her wings to her back, a tiny, becoming frown that somehow made her seem all the prettier. "No one ever brings me flowers."
She gave a smile and a shrug. "Kai, Shara, Reska... Whatever you wish... I only get called the whole thing when I'm in trouble...."
In trouble because I get caught talking to stallions.... And daddy wants to lock me in the teepee and never let me out... She added silently.
Watching his mane spill around him and float out, she noted her own mane was swept toward him by her movements until the two nearly touched, the very palest of her blue hues reaching out to mingle with darker blue, pink, and black.
It was very pretty...
"It is very nice to meet you, Oh Handsome Adonis... Friend of my family." She murmured, giving him one of her dazzling smiles as she flicked her tail slightly, the sunset-hues only enhancing the pretty purple and blue rose on her hindquarters. "Your words are like music to my ears, and I adore music..."

He looked up to her, she was...an interesting one. Was she coming on to him? He wasn't expecting it to be as fast as this, but he could go with the flow that was for sure. But would it be like going with your best friends sister...nah. He wasn't that close to Erik or his family, yet. He wondered what they'd do when they'd hear of this one.
"Hardly as handsome as you are beautiful m'dear," he edged closer is eyes half lidded in an almost seductive manuever yet nothing too much to be aware, he glided through the waters so he was face to face with her and just stared into her eyes.
"Thats too bad, I would get you flowers," he replied. "Though I don't think it would be enough to catch your affections." he looked down into her eyes, as he was a few hands taller than the girl. He could feel the water kiss the sides of him and their manes intertwining.

She probably shouldn't be too flirty, too early on... But it was part of her nature. She was wild and impetuous and so very, very lonely. But perhaps it wasn't the wisest to be so forward with a stranger...
Though, Adonis didn't really feel like a stranger.
"Now you're just trying to flatter me." She laughed as he stepped closer, her blue eyes dancing with mirth and interest. "Flowers could never hurt..."
She glanced down at their entwining manes, his longer than hers and far curlier, yet they were lovely as they swirled together in the crystal waters.
"I adore flowers..." She gave a shy smile as she looked back up into his eyes. "And I rarely throw my affection, so no one would need to catch it... But it would be nice if someone tried."

He shook his head from side to side. "No, Kai. I do not flatter. I speak in all honesty." he charming smile, never ceasing nor fading. His eyes were still upon her face, sometimes drifting to look at the sun when a cloud passed by, he was already making plans inside his head. "I'm sure many have tried," he huffed and looked at her, before he wrinkled his nose. "Or perhaps they were to ignorant to notice you." He lifted his tail as it was drenched in water, the thick hair made it almost an impossible task since it was so heavy, but after sometime he had become used to it. "I am not however," he looked at her and began walking towards the shoreline again. The water was cooler, and he was feeling the need to sun bathe, it sounded so nice, that and if the female, Kai, were to close for too long he was afraid of what might happen.

"I imagine it has something to do with how my father is, Stallions tend to steer clear..." She shrugged her wings and watched him move back to the shoreline. Rather than stand so far out by herself, she moved a little closer to the shore, until the water was only to her knees rather than her belly.
"Not too ignorant to notice?" She smiled, watching the understated grace with which he moved. "I suppose that remains to be seen, though you're miles ahead of the others, considering you're still standing here and saying all these nice things..."
She glanced around, then frowned slightly. "Do you have family here, Adonis?"
Or friends, for that matter? Are a hoard of angry mares going to appear if I continue talking -or even breathing- near you?

"Oh, the over protective father," he knew all to well the type. His last mate's father had been that way, he had never been okay with them together but he guessed it worked out in the end for him since she left him. He was still bitter. Though he did get around these days, wasn't proud just his life. She didn't need to know that.
"Never to ignorant to notice," he replied as he made it to the grass line and shook out most of his coat, he tensed himself slightly for their was no better sight to see a uni coated with water, with rippling muscles. Chick magnet? Very much so.
"No I do not family here, nor anywhere close to here. I met up with Cyrus and Erik and decided to live with them and thats where I still am today," he smiled gently. It was a sore subject.

"It is for my own safety and that of my younger sisters, so I can understand his reasoning..." She said at her sire's defense. Most of the time it was amusing to watch him stress as he catches her talking to strange stallions... But one day, what if he really DID have that heartattack he kept threatening her with?
It suddenly struck her that she was being quite nosy and more than a little rude. Blood rushed too her cheeks, making her thankful for her dark coat, for it hid the blush of shame.
She performed a pretty half-bow in the shallows, sweeping her wings wide to accentuate the graceful mood. Her face was sad and sweet, her voice low and pleasing when she spoke.
"Forgive me if I have brought unhappy memories to the fore of your mind with my questions... You must know it was not my intent. I merely wished to maintain a pleasing conversation with you, for you are most kind..."
She stood and folded her wings, feeling bad she had stirred up sad memories.

"No worries my lovely Kai," he smiled gently as he neared her. "I know you don't have ill intentions, your eyes aren't decieving me. If they are, I would say you are a damned skilled lady. But I see a pleasant soul behind your eyes." He spoke softly as he walked a bit away from her. "No worries about your father though," he winked. "No one could keep me away from a pretty girl like you, then again I'm a hopeless romantic. So my father called it. I still believe in fetching flowers and what not."
