That did it. Even with dark fur, a blush could be seen through it on her
face, "R-really?" She asked, smiling. "I...love you too." She replied, moving
forward to nuzzle his cheek. Her fluffy tail began to sway happily.

His heart leaps with bounds of joy. He nuzzles her right back, almost purring with happiness and love.

her cheek between his neck and shoulder, sighing contently into it.

He sits near her, his lanky form feeling at home next to hers, and his thin tail twining with her fluffy one.

Jep smiled, "...When did you know?" She asked almost at a whisper, wondering
when he knew he loved her. After all, love couldn't happen a first sight.

Jep felt her heart leap with joy...again. She smiled, "That's exactly how it
was with me. I had a little trouble expressing it though..." The female
nudged him gently and playfully, "You're compliments were a little of a
giveaway, but I still couldn't bring myself to tell you." Jep let out a small
giggle, "It's funny, I always thought you were the shyer (sp? o_o) one out
of us."
((Is it shyer or shier? I think it's the second one...if not, probably neither
of'em. xd ; I don't know. Me not smart. e_e))

"There's at least two more--I taught Nathaniel and Marmaduke everything I know about how to act with ladies. I think it sunk into their thick skulls eventually." He taps Jep's head illustratively and grins. He kisses the top of her head and purrs. It's not feminine at all--he purrs with the same tenor lilt as his singing voice has.

her head. She, in turn, kissed his cheek and resumed listening to his
soothing purrs.

He smiles pleasantly. "Yes, yes it is." He hums an unfamiliar melody, creating much the same effect as purring had.
