Things had been quiet. This came as a surprise to the crimson-pelted mare. She never expected evil to actually fade from existance, leaving her alone. In ways, it worried her. What if she got out of practice? What happened if she settled down, let life take her where it wanted, and then something happened?
Her death could be right around the corner.
Aleksei shivered and continued walking, the snow around her melting away in this fourty degree heat wave. Her skin twitched as raindrops landed on it and she folded her wings in protectively. Ear-feathers flipped back and forth, like little radars, and when they moved, her ears moved as well.
But...
Even with the darkness fading away, even though she hadn't had to kill in several weeks. It felt good.
She felt... free.

Out of all the days, he had to pick today. Along the paths of the mountains, an angeni stallion made his way along ridgid paths which could easily crumble or collapse at any point. With a small look over the soquili lands with dark orbs, he wondered really why he was coming down, especially... In this weather.
Water trickled down along the ivory pelt heavily, the heavens opening even more as time went on, soon the medium yellow bangs were stuck thick to Alex's skull, the ribbon burried down within them, all tumbling into vision as he continued.
This bothered him, he tossed his head back wildly letting the bangs slip aside once again; It didnt tke long to reach the bottom of the mountain and enter the once green glittering forest now dull and dark by the rains.
"This place is lifeless... The dripping blues from the heavens are meant to bring life, yet, the only life here is of those who wander its trials." The thought made a caution clear to keep note of, whilst he continued over the terrain, eyes focused directly ahead.
