While it had been cool and rainy lately, the sun had finally come peeking out through the clouds for a bit and Fade decided that today they would go outside and enjoy it. Putting the little girl in the stroller, he'd jogged into town.
Valkyrie liked it there-- plenty of sounds and smells that greeted her functioning senses thronged about like buzzing bees and she enjoyed the occasional sensory overload.
Slowing down, he stopped at a stall selling hot pastries, trying to decide which one the little girl might like best.

Vishal was in the lead of the proceeding as he always was, his long scorpion tail was swishing behind him in a lazy manner. He didn't even have to look back to know that Pan was there, slithering along behind him. He could hear the sounds of his hair swishing or his breathing but aside from that he was like he always was, he was silent. He had never spoken as far as he'd heard and it made him wonder if he just couldn't do so. He paused mid step, looking over his shoulder, "Pan?"
The snake boy lifted his gaze up to his meet those of his Master and he gave a smile, stopping when he reached his side. He waited, listening to hear what sort of request the older God might have for him.
It never came though Vishal merely reached a dark hand over to fix one of Pan's crescent moon hair clips, "You've always been rather quiet, haven't you." He murmured, maybe it was how old he was? He was fairly young so pushing him to talk wouldn't be a good idea even if he were curious about if he would ever be able to do it.
The snake Godling gave a shake of his head.
The pair of them starred at one another before they turned and headed on their way again. The snake was looking around as they walked, in a manner that Vishal didn't. The Monster God didn't really seem to see the others around him, looking passed them toward the goal at hand. Pan was more for looking around, taking things in, curious about the people and what they were like, what they were doing... and he found himself pausing mid slither as he saw a girl that caused a shiver to go up his spine. What a strange sort of feeling he thought to himself.

The tiny goddess of fate reached up to adjust the bandanna around her eyes-- the staring of her blindness often intimidated people, and she'd found the sunglasses most blind people wore to be too uncomfortable. Besides, something about having her eyes covered in this fashion felt old and comfortable, as though they'd always been like that before, and why hadn't she thought of it earlier?
A familiar tingle at the back of her neck alerted her to the presence of another like herself, though she still was not sure what that meant. She waved her hands in Fade's direction, knowing where he was by the sound of his breathing and knowing that he would see her, because he always did. Her guardian's eyes were never off of her, not really.
"Where do you want to go, Valkyrie?" he asked the toddler, coming down next to the stroller so that she might direct him. She pushed him gently in the direction of Pan and Vishal, and the man manned the stroller again, heading that way,
"There are two boys. One looks like a snake and the other like a scorpion. I don't think we've seen them before, though."
None of his descriptives seemed familiar to her, but she knew that these two must be somehow.

Vishal looked over to Pan first before he followed the direction of his minion's gaze, "What are you looking at?" He asked curious, walking over toward him.
Pan lifted a hand to point at the girl, giving a bright smile. He had no idea who she was but for some reason he wanted to meet her. He tossed Vishal a hopeful look and the Monster God gave a nod. It seemed that they were coming over this way so Vishal and Pan stoo there, waiting for them.
"Hello." Vishal greeted the pair of them when they got close enough.

Fade gave no smile, but nodded in greeting,
"Hello."
Valkyrie too didn't smile, but she seemed to be listening intently to the both of them. Reaching a hand out, she motioned Fade to get a bit closer-- which he of course obliged her in-- and she brushed her fingers gently on Pan's skin. Still that familiar feeling, but nothing she recognized.
"...who?" she asked, her voice soft as the wind. She still hadn't really mastered speech. She and Fade didn't really find much need for it, and it took practice to work those cords properly.
"This is Valkyrie," Fade informed them, "I am her guardian, Fade."

Pan watched the little girl's hand as it reached out to him, brushing over his scaly skin. He gave a little smile and reached his hand up to touch the hand in greeting.
The Monster God watched the quiet greeting between the two little ones before looking toward Fade, "My name is Vishal and this is Pan." He said, laying his hand on Pan's shoulder as he introduced him.
Pan waved at Fade and a smile.

Valkyrie's small fingers laced through Pan's, gave his hand a soft squeeze, and then let go, brushing against his forearm again. Scales. Hm. She'd never felt skin like this before, and it was interesting. Letting her hands drop back to her side, she motioned for Fade to let her out of the stroller, which he did somewhat reluctantly,
"Apparently she likes you," he said, "Though it is difficult to tell."

Pan stood still as he was inspected by the girl's hands, curious as to what she thought about him and it seemed that her guardian knew. She liked him? It caused a smile to appear on his lips and the ends of his twin tails swished back and forth in a rather delighted sort of way.
Vishal watched quietly, arms crossing over his chest and his wings closed against his back. They two of them were seeming to be getting along well weren't they? It was a good thing, maybe this friend would be the one that got Pan to finally say a word. It would be interesting wouldn't it? He wondered what Pan was thinking and couldn't exactly read him. He almost always had a serene look on his face that made him hard to understand.
"I think that Pan likes her too." He said, guessing at it from the way the snake Godling was watching the other girl.

Slowly Valkyrie's fingers traced up his arm to his shoulder. She paused a second,
"Can I?" she asked. She wanted to get an idea of what he looked like, but she didn't want to upset him in doing so. She'd never felt scales like that before, everybody she knew just had regular skin.
Fade continued to watch both carefully to make sure neither posed a threat, but didn't say anything. This was up to them.

Pan gave a nod of consent, not really minding that the girl was touching his skin. After all she seemed really nice and she was being quite gentle in her inspection of his skin, nothing about what she did caused him any amount of worry or pain so he didn't see why he shouldn't allow her to continue.
Vishal couldn't help it, lifting a hand to smother a laugh, "Wow..." He said between giggles, "The blind playing with the mute... sounds like the start to a bad joke." That part said mostly to himself.
The young snake boy turned to look at Vishal and stuck his tongue out at his Master.
The Monster God gave a grin before looking at the girl, "Pan doesn't talk Valkyrie but he gave a nod saying can continue to look him over. You should check out his tails, those are neat."

The little girl smiled, letting her hands gently brush over his nose, eyes, face, getting a mental 'picture' of him. He was certainly different from Fade. Much smaller, of course, but his face was different too. Fade was all hard lines and frowns and this boy didn't seem like that really.
"Nice...boy.." she said softly, running her fingers softly through his hair, "Soft."

Vishal shifted his long, scorpion tail so that he could lean against it in a rather lazy manner. He would leave the rest of the meeting to his minion, it was interesting to watch two kids that were each missing a vital sense interact. Pan had never run across someone like Valkyrie before so it was a good learning experience he figured.
Pan flushed a bit, pink showing against his metallic colored skin as she told him he was both nice and soft. The ends of his tail started to swish in a delighted manner at the compliments.

Valkyrie let his hair fall through her fingers, then ran a hand through her own curls. Definitely a different texture. His was long and smooth and soft, hers was short and course. Still, she liked the difference.
"Do you want something to eat, Valkyrie?" Fade knelt down beside the small girl,
"And you two as well? We could have lunch together."
It was getting close to time for it anyhow, and they seemed to be enjoying each other's company even if there wasn't much going on.

Vishal looked over at Fade before giving a nod of his head, "Sure, lunch would be good." He said his long tail swishing behind him. He wasn't one for hanging out with people but it was good for Pan so he didn't mind as much if it meant his minion getting out and meeting people his age.

Fade motioned out towards the various stands and shops,
"Any particular preference? Val's not very picky about food-- I think she just likes tasting different things even if she doesn't enjoy what she's eating."
It was true. She'd make terrible faces like she hated something, but still eat every last bite, as though she were enjoying the flavor nonetheless somehow.
