The dorm rooms are set in 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. They’re all co-ed and fully furnished. It is completely up the occupants how they wish to decorate their rooms, though don’t forget about the other occupants if you have any.

In single and double rooms you will find that they all have a double bed, however, in a room with three people there are only two double beds and a single. First come, first served basis.

Dorms:

1
2
3. William
4. Madison
5. Andy
6. Jessy
7. Lunamarria
8
9. Crossfire (Single room)
10

(Will add more as necessary)

William had already been back a week at the academy, after spending sometime traveling around Europe in his summer break with some friends from England. He had ventured down to the reception early before the hoards of freshman and newcomers swarmed in all nervous about their first day.

His dorm was exactly how he’d left it. Messy. He’d spent the first three hours of the morning trying to tidy up some; stuffing things back in cupboards and making everything look a little neater. All around the head of his bed were photos, some taken with a professional camera and others Polaroid with little notes on. There were some scenic, some of friends, some just of objects, one of his mother and a large one in the center of a group of ten people on a beach.

Will was perched on his bed, taking a sip from a can of Dr. Pepper and listening to the CD player he’d added to the room playing acoustic instrumentals. He put the can down on the side table next to his bed and stood up stretching out his long body.

He’d chosen to wear dark jeans that just revealed the tip of his boxers, old beaten trainers, a plain white t-shirt and a green jumper over that. His hair was still a little damp form the shower earlier and so he ruffled his hair trying to help it take on a little shape.

He’d left his room open as a kind gesture to anyone whom walked by who needed to see a friendly face for a little reassurance.

Madison looked for her dorm, mouthing the numbers as she went passed. "1,2,3,4." She said aloud. She entered her room and threw her stuff on the bed. Madison took her CD out of her purse and put it into the radio. Fall Out Boy filled the room. She had a great voice, but she was afraid to show someone. Madison grabbed a brush from her bag, jumped on the bed and started singing to her favorite band. Jumping up and down with her brush, Madison sang her heart out. "I! Dont! Care what ya think! As long as its about mee! The best of us can find happiness in misery!

Andy Amarriiee Ancalimon
"Wherever you go, go with all your heart."

.:Andy Amarriie Ancalimon:.

Andy peered up at the door of her old room, where the number '5' was engraved in gold letters on a plaque nailed into the wood. She found the right key on her ring, sticking it in the lock and twisting, before stepping inside. Her things still lay about the room, seemingly messy to those that came in, but in perfect order in her mind. She could locate anything she needed, anytime. With a sigh she shut the door after her, dropping her duffel bag on the floor beside her bed. It was almost time to change the sheets. She turned away, going to the sliding door that served also as her window. She peered out across the grounds of the Academy, excited to be back for another year. She had spent the entire summer with her parents, who had been so ecstatic about her return that they had taken her on a two week vacation to Cecily.

Still, her dorm room was just as much home as was when she lived with her parents. The white walls, though plain, always seemed to glow. She laughed. This was something she had bewitched them with. She loved daylight, and could never stand to see it fade until she went to sleep every night. Her desk was still cluttered, pictures and papers creating a mountainous pile around her computer. Books sat on every shelf, for reading was a great hobby of hers.

Now it was time to get settled again. She went to her bag, crouching down to pick up the schedule she had received from atop it. She scanned the paper, then sighed. Her magic lessons weren't until the end of her class periods. History was first, then Literature. She rose, and began to ready herself for the new year.

Will's eyes rolled, feeling a slight feeling of annoyance flowing through his body as he heard the music coming from the room next to his. He proceeded to his door, slamming it quite forcefully and walking over toward the sliding doors that opened onto a small balcony. He stared out of them, only now hearing the slight beat of the music coming from next door.

He hated fallout boy, or any of that particular sound like panic! at the disco, it was all an awful mixture of bad instrumentals to him and really bad vocals. He shrugged it off with a sigh, smiling as he looked out of the vast scenary around him. He pulled the doors, stepping out and feeling the warm sun on his skin.

He put his hand on the metal balcony bars that followed round to the wall, feeling his muscles tense a little as they absorbed a little of its properties. A few of his close friends at the academy had left last semester, he felt a little disheartend at the prospect but found himself cheering up at making new friends or at least, becoming some what off annoyance to whom ever lived next door.

Luna walked down the hallway filled with music looking at the floor. She turned when she thought she'd walked passed 6 doors but as she turned the knob, she looked up in time to find that this was not her room. She smiled and walked a little farther and stepped into her room. She threw her bags on the bed, she plugged her Mp3 into the stereo listening to Snuff by Slipnot and turned it up only loud enough to drown out the other music but not enough to disturb the others around her any more. Luna was happy to be back even though she didn't remember much from last year. She was excited for this year but she didn't want to spend her first day back at school in her dorm. Luna unplugged her Mp3, put the headphones in and walked out to wonder the Campus grounds.

Jessy hadn't done anything for summer break, she had merely stayed put where she was at. The school, to much of a hazard to really wander far or go anywhere else. Some of the staff that had stayed wondered why she hadn't left, she just smiled and shrugged and walked away. She stayed up most of the night then slept till a little bit in the mourning. Hardly sleeping meant she was hardly in her bedroom. The only time she really came into the room was to change or shower...that was about it. She didn't like big beds so much so she had taken the little one, which at the moment she was laying on it, she had barely walked to her room.

Like Will, she had acquired her key in the early hours before loads of people came to claim theirs. She didn't like crowds, and if anything she preferred to be by herself most of the time. Jessy sighed zipping up her hood, it had a venom logo on it and accompanying it was a black tank and black jeans. She was a tomboy. Usually she had her hair down but when she was out playing sports of something it was pulled back, but not all the way threw the game. She yawned, exhausted, she had been up all night again. Yet once more it felt like another year had been drained off of her. She sat up off her bed, getting up to look at her slight mess, it wasn't a big one but just good enough for her. She cleaned it to her liking and always told people she hadn't been named Jessy for a reason. It rhymed with messy no doubt but it was her organized mess. She found and knew where everything was at without having to dig threw everything.

Jessy yawned again, going to possibly meet and greet newbies to the place, even though she wasn't all that skilled. She got a little better each day but her power was uncontrollable...least that's what she was always told. She probably never would be able to, she frowned looking down at her shadow, the evil grin it seemed to wear. Her dark side followed her but she felt completely incomplete. It was her job to let them know about after dark hours anyway, so it was best to get it done and over with to whoever was here. She walking out of her bedroom she stretched, hood on her head as she crackled her back.

Will let go of the balcony, walking back into his room and pulling off his jumper. It was too warm to keep it on, he threw it on his bed and stretched his arms above his head. His back gave out a little cracking sound. He pulled the keys to his dorm from his desk, holding them in his hand whilst he scouted around his room. He was hoping he'd recieve a roomate soon and he was just making sure all of his things were on his side.

He moved over to the door, rubbing his stomach and feeling slightly hungry. His abilty caused him to eat alot more then most, well, more then the average male teenager. He'd find his way to the kitchen, and raid the fridge before any newbies found it first.

Will stepped outside his room, pulling the door a little too forcefully as it slammed shut, he locked it and slipped his keys into his back pocket. He turned slightly, noticing someone else in the hallway. He remembered seeing her around a little last year, if he recalled correctly he knew her name as Jess, as they'd shared some classes also.

He took a step forward, letting out a half-hearted wave.

''Hey Jess'' his English accent tended to be quite clear around the mass American students. ''How was your summer?''

The muscles in his arms seemed to shrink a little, the touch of the metal on the balcony now wearing off.

Jessy turned to look at the other person now in the hallway, she had heard the door open and close with the little jingle of keys somewhere along the lines. "Oh...ughm..it was alright..." She said to him with a slight shrug, she wasn't really used to people just talking to her sometimes it gave her a slight fright but not when she knew for a fact there was someone there instead of them just coming out of no where. Like some kids liked to do with their power. "Just..hung around here...I'm one of them special cases that can't leave....remember?" She said to him crossing her arms, she felt cold, always had and probably always would. She always had on jeans and long sleeves...even in ninety degree weather, she had on sleeves and jeans. A kid last year asked her how she could stand it, she just shrugged at him though, she wasn't much for words really.

"How about yours? What all did you do?" She asked him putting her hands down into the front of her hood. Standing there lightly just looking at the clock randomly on the wall, she never was in a hurry but always seemed like she was. But who wouldn't have an obsession over time? While it counted forward her time clock went backwards. "Oh wait..before you answer...I have a joke for you!" She said to him lightly, her cracking a joke? This was new...what happened to the old Jessy? The little quiet wall paper kid that probably never knew what a joke was? "Stop me if you've heard it before...but..okay..A guy walks into a bar...and says OW." She said to him. Hopefully he wouldn't have to explain this one to him like she had to explain it to the janitor. It was funny watching him try to figure it out.

She just waited there a bit excitedly for his reaction, she didn't like the janitors it was a simple smile then a scowl. Having to hang with him all summer wasn't really the best thing in the world. Or much of the other staff, but some of them were alright, but she mostly hung around to draw. It was quiet without anyone here.

He remembered her now. As soon as she'd opened her mouth, she was the odd one, that always seemed to be off in her own little world. He nodded, remembering that she had a power that they'd not come across in the Academy. They usually like to keep them back or maybe, her parents just didn't want her back. Will shrugged to himself and chirped up when she started asking him questions about his summer.

Though he hesitated, waiting for her joke. He let out a small laugh, his hand moving to the back of his neck and rubbing it slightly.

''Yeah. Heard that one!'' he pointed out, dropping his arm to his side.

''I went travelling with a few friends for the most of the summer. Saw some of Europe. Prague, Amsterdamn, Paris, Rome, Bulgaria. I ended back in England for a while too. Miss the old London sometimes'' He flashed a quick smile, befoe his stomach let out a small growl.

''I need to pop to the kitchen'' he stated, giving his stomach a quick rub.

''My ability never seems to be quite satisfied.''

Jessy just nodded to his words, he traveled and she stayed here, yea a special case...not a power that would couldn't identify just one that was out to get her. Drain her life away with each little second, making her more and more awake then ever. She hated to sleep knowing that any day her clock could run out and sometimes it showed other times it didn't. "Right...well ughm...see you around I guess..." She thought a moment scratching the back of her head slightly, "Mind doing me a favor and letting some of the other students know about the curfew? No ones allowed out after dark unless they get permission.." She said as a little reminder. Sure she didn't really care but it made her look like she didn't do her job at night by keeping the grounds watched over. Everyone needed a special slip to be out after dark, she had a pass that told otherwise for her. Most of the time she was studied at night with the way her power worked. Kinda odd really.

She thought a moment more before just shaking her head, "No..instead can I tag along..I forgot to eat yesterday...so I kinda got the munchies...I guess.." She said trying to think, when was the last time she ate? She forgot most of the time, a reason why she usually kept a small bag of candy on her person to last a few days...or a couple hours really. She loved junk food big time and if swiping a bag of chips meant raiding the school fridge she was game, if he wanted her to tag along anyway. If not she'd just go by it later, she wasn't in all that big a hurry really...and she did have to remind people about being out. The thought scrambled her mind she stopped talking and got lost in her own little world before snapping back a moment. "hmm?

He just nodded. He wouldn't mention it to anyone. It was a stupid rule anyway, he'd lost count the amount of times him and a few others had broken it last year. When there’s a few different 'powers' involved its pretty easy to get away not detected.

''Sure thing.''

He was just about to turn toward the stairs as she spoke again.

‘’Forgot to eat?’’ he was slightly baffled, maybe people actually did that, but his body seemed to have constant yearning for food. ‘’Sure, sure’’ he agreed to her tagging along, continuing to go down the hall way to the stairs.

He took the stairs down a floor with Jess following behind, moving through the hallways, left, right, left, left and then they would both find themselves in the kitchen.

CrossfireFight

PostPosted: Sun Feb 22, 2009 12:06 am

Another year, another.. another… Crossfire halted just outside the familiarly marked door of dormitory #9, wondering why he couldn't think of an appropriate way to end that thought. Another… what? Dime? Dollar? Excuse to not call your parents?

It was not his first year at Alliance Academy, but Crossfire hadn't run back to mommy and daddy at the start of summer. His mother had tried to coax him into returning ( as if he were a wild thing, her letters full of empty promises ), but he hadn't been ready to see her again; still didn't think he was ready, and was steadily growing surer that he might never be. He had also opted out of sticking around campus, despite vocal protests from a few of his teachers. By the time May had rolled around, the faculty had taken to reminding him, several times a day if necessary, that he was welcome to stay as long as he needed and he really ought to reconsider not sticking around. Plenty of people stayed there, they'd said, so you're hardly any trouble. Which was all well and good - for some people. But he had felt the need to get away, to take a break from the sterile and specialized environment of the school and spend some time in the real world. He got a job in the city. He swept floors.

Coming back to the Academy had felt just a little bit like coming home.

Students were milling up and down the dormitory hall as he stood there, absorbed in thought and hugging his bag. An older boy he thought he might recognize passed him by, an odd looking girl in tow. Somewhere down the way music was playing, loud and obnoxious and utterly refreshing. Another year, another life, he decided, and pushed open the #9 door.

Crossfire's room was a single. It wasn't that he hated having roommates or sharing space ( well, alright, maybe that was a very, very small factor in the larger scheme of things ), it was that he didn't think any sane person would care much for cohabiting alongside him in a just-not-big-enough chunk of dormitory. That hadn't changed in the months he'd been gone. The entire area was an unbridled, catastrophic mess. A large, darkly polished oak desk was shoved in the far corner, nearly buried under half a dozen stripped and steel-plated ATX cases, stacked haphazardly atop one another like Jenga blocks. Beside them, a board covered in copper wire and ( now dim and unblinking ) LED lights, the purpose of which even he wasn't sure of. Bits of wire and bundled cables snaked through the carpeting, connecting this with that with a wall socket with an external harddrive, and if he happened to wake up and roll to his left rather than to his right, he would be greeted that morning by a box of disassembled odds and ends from a single cylinder engine. It was obvious that everything he'd left behind had remained completely untouched.

He made room for himself on the unmade double bed, shoving a Phillips head and a few loose screws to the floor. He set his bag at his feet. He was hungry and his door was still wide open, but he couldn't quite bring himself to get back up. As he stretched out on top of what had to be a three-month old sheet and inhaled the dry heat and scent of running hardware, he looked back fondly on his floor sweeping days and decided that there was nothing better than this.

Luna entered the dorm hallway and made her way back to her room and shut her door. She stood there with her back against the door and sighed looking at the room, "Wonder what type of people I'm going to meet this year?" she asked herself, then walked toward the bed laid down and looked out the window.
