Chernabog paced before his great obsidian den and growled deep within his throat. The trail was gone, rubbed, faded and erratic the little slave had even taken to the river. Fury simmered within and his eyes glowed a violent red, he wanted her back, and not for any reason but to punish her audacity. What belonged to the Reign was theirs to discard or keep as they chose. Her escape was insult to the entire pack and he would see it mended.
He let out vicious howl, it ended in a bone chilling snarl a demand for his new ladies. He knew that Valdis was already out scouting and let her be, perhaps she would run across their runaway on her own. For now he wanted his two beauties to take the north east and west where he had not yet gone to search. Meanwhile he would go to the ocean to find what took his lord so long and where the alliance of the agua azul pack lay.

Moghedien's ear's pricked as she caught the noise of the raging alpha, evidently the search for the escaped wolf had not bode well. She did not increase her pace however, she would arrive in a respectable amount of time and she would not turn up flustered, once was quite enough for one day.
Behind her followed a tall lithe male, all adult wolves she'd ever met had been taller than her, but this creature really was something else. He stood a good head and shoulder taller than herself, she estimated he'd even stand taller than the alpha, though he was not so intimidating in the sense that he wasn't heavily muscled having a slender build. But he was intimidating, just not in a physical sense, he had a silent presence and now having a little understanding of the skills he possessed she could understand the aura he gave off.
Her thoughts drifted from the experience with the black and blood red male to her alpha. First she had soothed his temper with the gift of Liriel and now she brought him Haemon, would it be enough and were her constant efforts being noticed? She glided with her usual sultry grace and before long she came upon the main den area. Scanning about her icy blue eyes fell upon the red and green coat of the alpha male and once she had caught those fiery red eyes she bowed her head in acknowledgement.

Haemon glided along behind the petite female, he watched ,admiring the way she moved, his hunger clear in his blood red eyes, though his attentions were quickly distracted by the bone chilling howl of what could only be the alpha male. He closed his eyes and concentrated, not far ahead he could feel the heart beat of the male, plusating strongly, he was angered and in rage. Opening his eyes he walked on.
The silver adorned female lead on and soon they came upon what could only be the heart of the pack's territory and main den area. He did not need to cast his eyes about for the alpha, the rushing of blood within the other living creature was enough and he fixed his own blood red eyes to the fiery red of the monstrous male and as his newly formed acquaintance had done, he bowed his head.

Liriel had only recently gotten settled into her newly chosen den when the alpha's siren howl rang in her ears, bidding her to come serve her new King. Normally she wasn't the type to take orders from anyone, but at least within this pack, the orders that came were the sort that she would follow herself.
Shadowy paws lifted her body off of the ground and carried her silently, gracefully, out of the pitch darkness of her den and into the open court where Chernabog was waiting. An air of melancholy had settled over her in the time since the slave's scent trail had been lost. A part of her craved violence, craved the punishment meant to be etched into the slave's hide with fang and claw.
A menacing look of intent glowed in her eyes as she sauntered into the court and daintily seated herself in audience to the King, her delicacy betrayed by the simmering morbid desires just barely kept hidden behind her mask. She sat there with her head held regally, nodding in aknowledgement first to Chernabog, then to Moghedien before casting an inquisitive gaze in the direction of the strange male that trailed behind her.
Interesting...

Chernabog felt his temper cool as he spotted Mog, he hated to admit it, but she had somehow managed to gain his attentions more so then the usual lusty glances. He leapt down to her and frowned "A great insult, this escape. I would see my ladies aid me in rectifying it." His ruby eyes moved slowly past her and settled on the new wolf.
Chernabog stared openly at the other male for a long moment before tipping his muzzle in a silent respect that was normally only reserved for the pack's seer. "What have you brought me now dear one?" He glanced at Mog curiously, she was proving ever more useful, cunning, stunning.
His gaze flipped to Liriel and his eyes met hers a promise that she would soon have what she craved.

She paused before answering him, her eyes following his and falling also upon Liriel. She had gone off on the trail of the escaped wolf as well, evidently she had returned empty 'handed' and somehow she could not help but feel pleased at this. She herself had not picked up the trail in a vain attempt to find this female but had still not returned here empty 'handed'. These thoughts flickered across her mind though portrayed no outward sign of her pleasure and just as smoothly had she laid her eyes upon the raven furred female they drifted to her right where Haemon stood.
Her voice carried no warmth, no emotion, as was normal with her and her words slipped though the air like a thin mist, 'Insult indeed my lord but not as great if she is to be found and I don't doubt that she will be.' The search for the female now, would not be one of a physical sort they would follow trails carried in words, rumours and hints. This would be where she would excel and perhaps here Liriel would also be more competition, she hoped so at least. 'This is Haemon, my lord and I don't doubt he will be extremely useful in present matters and also future ones.'
Her eyes came to rest upon the alpha's and for a moment they remained as the usual icy orbs but then she blinked, slowly and upon opening she allowed a little warmth to enter them and she gazed directly at him, blinked again and the warmth was gone. She hoped these subtle gestures were not lost on him.

Haemon stood at the side of the petite female and watched the three other wolves interact with one another and he could not help but smile. He noted the way in which the alpha had dipped his nose too him, he welcomed the respect and also admired the alpha slightly for having the ability to know he was due it.
His red eyes glided to rest upon the other female. She was just as appealing as the silver beauty by his side, if not more to his tastes. Her hunger was clear in her eyes which rest behind that feathered mask and he found that enticing. He narrowed his eyes slightly and let a thin grin slip up the side of his jaw as she noticed him, then broke the connection and turned his attentions back to the alpha as Moghedien introduced him.
He kept his eyes to the alpha's even as they were locked to Mog's but then waited until she finished speaking before he added, 'I have hopes of finding somewhere I may be respected for my, talents, rather than feared.' his voice crept menacingly through the air, not as chilling as the silver female's but instead it seeped grimly into the heads of the listners.

A ripple of displeasure ran up Liriel's spine as she noted the way a subtle air of smugness seemed to radiate from Moghedien as Chernabog's attentions rested on her for the moment. What was this wolfess, a recruiter? Inwardly she huffed as the malice in her eyes briefly flared, though anyone watching probably would not be able to see how sorely her gaze bore into Mog's back.
The fur on the back of her neck bristled suddenly. She felt eyes on her now, hungry eyes, and it made a chill run up her spine as she looked slowly over to the new male, seeing the unnerving grin on his maw before he looked away. She too sensed the power that surrounded him, the power that commanded respect and attention. There was something menacing about his presence that intrigued her. It was a feeling that she was only used to giving to others, not receiving.
She almost shuddered visibly when the male spoke. He obviously belonged in the company of this pack, there was no question about that, but as she watched his introduction, she wondered how the alpha might handle this new possible addition. Would he be given the freedom to seek his own rank within the pack as she had, or would he be constrained, even with his power, to a fixed position and status?
She drifted slightly closer to moghedien and the new wolf and watched the meeting, the malice in her eyes slowly giving way to her own curiosity in the present situation, the escaped slave now drifting further from her thoughs as she no doubt was drifting farther away from the reaches of the bloodthirsty pack.

Chernabog let his eyes fix on Mog's and he smirked softly at the touch of fire in her icy eyes, but as quickly as it came it was gone. His heart gave one little trip before settling back into it's steady healthy pace. He tore his eyes from Mog and tried not to pay her much more attention, but it was so very hard when she was so pleasing in so many ways.
His ruby eyes rested once more on the male before them and he walked closer and grinned. "None here shall fear you, you will be embraced, welcomed to this court. If...you are loyal? I know many of your ilk are wanderers, I desire those who would better themselves and the pack, not wandering vagrants." He waited for the male's response his eyes flicking over to Liriel with mild amusement.
If he had judged correctly perhaps he could pair this new court member with his feather masked femme fatale. Together they would be a deadly hunting pair, the perfect weapon, ferocity and power. Adding his dear surly Valdis to the mix and the court would be nearing indestructability. He kept his eyes on the male and away from Mog, she too was a part of his army though, and her cunning was perhaps the most dangerous part.

Mog noted the manner in which the alpha's eyes lingers on her and she felt a small shimmer of satisfaction course through her, so he did notice her little gestures and from the way his eyes left hers he appreciated them. It evidently also didn't escape Liriel's notice, she could feel her eyes scoring into her back, though she was not intimidated by this but she hoped Liriel would instead raise her game.
As the attentions turned towards Haemon she too flickered her eyes to the tall lanky male and listened as his words slithered from his maw and it took a great deal of self control not to feel slightly on edge. Her crystal blue eyes caught the flicker of the alpha's fiery orbs as they slid from Haemon to Liriel, what was he planning, she wondered.

Haemon grinned in the alpha's direction, not openly, no, he lowered his head on a slight tilt and let it slid up the side of his face. The small skip in his heart beat was not missed by himself, he kept his head in such a position and stared up at the alpha and the cast his eyes sidewards, his grin still in place.
Listening as the alpha responded to him, encroaching in on him. At that he raised his head, his total height becoming apparent as now, standing at full height, he had to cast his eyes down to met the other male's. 'My loyalties will lie with you, I have no one else to give them too as of this moment. I merely desire a place where I can feel, at home.' A spark entered his blood red eyes at that and it remained for a moment before fading.
He had no intention on intimidating the alpha, he was not here to compete for titles, but he took several steps forward and bowed his head so his maw rested against the horned skull the alpha wore and in his ear he whispered, 'I don't know how advantageous you really know I could be, for insistent I know your heart leapt as that pretty little female met your eyes...' He let his words sink in before adding further to the explanation, 'Or that the masked beauties blood is currently racing about her body... I have many talents you may find useful...' He kept his head lowered for a moment before sliding back from the alpha's ear to his previous stance, he fixed the male with his stare once again, a question in his eyes, did he understand and either way; did he want a further demonstration.

Liriel, too, noticed the way the alpha's eyes flickered between herself and Haemon. There were ideas in his eyes, she could see that much, and intent..but intent for what, she wasn't sure if she wanted to know. All she needed to know was that the male gave her a funny feeling, like she was being spied on somehow. It made her blood rush, made the fur at the back of her neck stand on end as a chill ran down her spine. She wished she knew what the male could sense, to know what part of her innermost self he was looking at so easily.
She hid a look of mild shock behind her mask at the mysterious male's boldness as he got so close to the alpha, though she managed to smooth it over as she watched the two with curious intrigue. Her ears perked to catch his soft whispers, keen ears still catching small snatches of his words.
His heart lept, for who? She could feel her skin flush beneath her fur at the mere thought of the alpha's heart leaping for anyone. She doubted she could stand it if it was the smug female that sat not so far away from her now. She had to play it cool..or as cool as she could, despite the way her temper flared when she was in such a mood. She merely sat still and watched, icing over her features as she reigned in the bloodthirsty hellhound that gnawed at her heart.

Chernabog was calm as the other male approached size was not intimidating for him, instead his ruby eyes shone with open curiosity. Was this male indeed what he suspected? The words whispered into his ear, against his horned head made him smirk. His fangs shone glossy white under the top row of sharp metal. At last, his pack had been blessed, for Haemon was a blessing indeed. Within the confines of the two legged world Chernabog had learned a deep respect for iron weapons wielded by the two leggers. Respect for the single old male who's cloudy eyes saw more then any young sparkling ones could. And last respect for the tiny female who breathed power without ever meaning to intimidate anyone.
He did not think himself all powerful, nor the most cunning, no, Chernabog saw in himself the ability to gather and lead. He was so proud of his court, it was filling out beautifully. He grinned at Haemon and moved closer his chest pressing against the other males. "You are as welcome into the pack as if you were my own blood."
He backed away once more and looked at Mog. "You have a knack for finding all my needs my dear little frost queen. Now I have a need for your cunning mind, go forth and seek up and out. Find whatever trace you can of our run away and report back within the next few moons." He turned to Liriel before pausing and looking back at Mog. "Do not confront any wolves who may harbor her...I would hate to see any harm befall you my dear." His lips raised in a slight snarl.
He nodded and turned to Haemon "How do you wish to be called?" He waited for a response before turning to Liriel and smirking "You, my little raven shall go with our new pack mate and seek upward for our runaway. If you find her, you have my consent to bring her back whole, or in pieces."

Mog watched as the two males exchanged words she could not hear though she wished she could, even with her ears pricked she could not determine anything but from the alpha's reaction, he was pleased. Her eyes flickered from Haemon to the alpha and she listened carefully as he addressed her.
She felt a slight urge to point out that she knew her strengths and that she would not ever attack in a physical sense but she held it in. Instead she focused on the admiration in his voice and rewarded him by gathering herself and turning smoothly she swayed with a sultry grace away from the main den area back the way she had come.
Before disappearing from sight she cast a backwards glance over her shoulder, directed at her alpha her icy eyes flashed with a show of hunger and then turning her head forwards again she disappeared from sight.
She pushed thoughts of the alpha to one side and also those of how Liriel would now be feeling, she smile inwardly at that but soon her thoughts turned to the task at hand. She knew little of the other packs in the surrounding area only those rumoured on the wind. The alpha had bid her to go out and up, from rumours she knew this pack was newly formed by a large alpha male and was still small in numbers, though they were rented killers. She must tread carefully now, she knew that much. Damon would always been watching over her, should need arise. Her mind planned and plotted as her body carried her towards the packs boundaries.

Haemon watched with mild interest as the silver female collected herself and disappeared from sight, though it would be a while before he wasn't able to pick up the sense of her heart beat, the circulation of her blood. He noted the look in her eye just before she left the clearing and before she turned her head forwards once more he swung his eyes in the direction of the alpha's, a small smile playing upon his maw. It would take a very strong minded male indeed to refuse such an offer.
He focused his attentions as the alpha once again addressed him, his voice crept creepily through the air, 'I believe Moghedien introduced me as Haemon, this is my name and is how I wish to be addressed.' Though as the alpha's attentions turned to the deep purple female, so did his. He grinned down at her, his blood red eyes thirsty. So he was to travel with this fine creature, his grin crept further up the side of his jaw, her heart was racing and he had a good idea why.
Walking pass the alpha, his alpha now, he had been welcomed as a brother and this respect was acknowledged. Now though, he desired to acquaint himself with the female he was to travel with. He kept his eyes on hers, his gaze piercing through her mask and as he approached her he crouched lower and let his grin slip from his mouth he quickly lunged out and grabbed her by the throat. His canines settling threateningly on her flesh.
After a moment passed he released her and took several steps back, coming to rest back at his full height. The action had been to show that she could trust him and that he meant her no harm. His grin returned.
