I'm not a cutter, but I am a biter. I bite myself a lot and no one really knows. I really wish I could find something better, but I've tried punching pillows, screaming in pillows and climbing trees. The only two things that work are reading and biting, but sometimes I get angry and throw my book across the room. I already said in another post that I punched my mom two days ago due to "un-expressed anger" problems. I really need to do something better than biting myself. I know base ball is supposed to be good but I have a medical issue. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Maybe you should try expressing yourself through talking to someone. or biting something that won't hurt you, like your sleeves. Maybe that will work :3

I used to be in a somewhat similar situation. Try ripping paper, breaking Styrofoam and pencils, and hitting more solid objects. The best way to hit them (solid objects) is with the outside side of a clenched fist, the side without the thum. I also used to bite. How all this stopped for me is I spent nearly a year going in and out of mental wards. Mental wards really aren't bad, and they really help.
