Vampires:

Long has it been said that vampires exist in this world. Conspiracies state that even though they may truly exist, there are people who mask their existence with covermups and deceitful lies. but just what exactly is a vampire?

A vampire is a human who has fallen from the grace of humanity through death. Humans who die, sometimes hold a grudge against the real world and thus, they keep living in spite of their apparent death. some humans are born with this fate, carrying the lineage of a demonic bloodline within their family and eventually turning into a vampire.others are simply converted, through means of a vampire giving their blood to the human, after nearly draining them of all their blood. it is a fate that many would not desire, and upon gaining this fate they grow angered with the world, seeking to destroy all life. through the life of a vampire, one is said to gain unimaginable strength and vitality, capable of living for eternity.

But how, does one slay a vampire if they are so powerful and immortal? Well, even immortals can die if you make the right attack. there are many ways to slay vampires, the most common one is to stake them through the heart with a wooden stake. however, this only works on vampires who are younger than 12th generation. another common way of slaying vampires is to use garlic, having them eat it, or spilling pure garlic on them is like putting acid on ice. this only works for vampires younger than the 10th generation, however. stabbing a vampire in the brain or heart with silver is the next most common technique to slaying a vampire, working on all vampires younger than 6th generation. sunlight and ultramviolet rays, which burn vampires slowly, can kill vampires 4th generation and younger. holy water, will almost instantly kill any vampire 3rd generation and younger. but what about the 1st and 2nd generations of vampires, whose bloodline is so thick they are close to being humans with traits of vampires? is there a way to kill them at all? there is only 1 known method of killing a vampire of 2nd generation decent, death by another vampire. no records have been recorded of any 1st generation vampires being killed, however.

vampire lineage is declared by "generations". the generation is determined by how pure your bloodline is as compared to the first vampires. it can be quite a difficult task for people to tell the generation of a vampire by sight, but it is possible to a certain generation.

13th generation: the common vampire, with no distinct features other than large fangs.
12th generation: another common vampire, with a thin red ring around the inner parts of their eyes that glows in the dark faintly.
11th generation: a vampire that is mainly a "boss" figure to more common vampires, these vampires generally have a marking on their forehead.
10th generation: a vampire which eyes which glow yellow in the dark.
9th generation: a vampire capable of extending its fingernails to form blademlike nails.
8th generation: a vampire with the ability to use magic.
7th generation: these vampires are generally thin, gorgeous, and softmspoken. their eyes glow dark red.
6th generation: nobles, with the ability to dissipate into a swarm of bats.
5th generation: also nobles, with the ability to hide in shadows, becoming invisible.
4th generation: the start of the royalty of vampires, they are capable of becoming invisible in not only shadows, but dimly lit areas.
3rd generation: princesses and princes, vampires which the ability to teleport while within a shadow, to another point in the shadow.
2nd generation: unknown
1st generation: unknown

Werewolves:

Under the cover of the full moon, a humanoid beast rules the night. An eternal war wages on between these fearsome creatures and with the Vampires, the night walkers. Werewolves are capable of walking in daylight, and thus they pose a great threat to vampires. However, they're mysterious transformations only happen during the night of a full moon, unless they use a drug to reciprocate the effects. This drug, known as Moonlight Daze, is extremely expensive and only the richest can afford it. Werewolves have an innate Regeneration ability while in their transformed forms that allows them to take larges amounts of damage and keep going. Their healing speed rivals that of a 5th generation Vampire, and it is what makes them so fierce and deadly against the Vampires. Although they still retain some unusual regeneration in human form, they are still capable of getting heavy blows and living through it, at least sometimes longer than a normal human would otherwise.

Werewolves have an extremely high tolerance for most materials, poison or otherwise, unless the material in question is Silver. While this mainly applies to Pure Silver, a weapon coated in silver can also be a bit more effective against these beasts. However, silver is a substance that requires constant maintenance and polishing or it will become soaked in blood, become tarnished, or eventually rust (over a long period of time) to become brittle.

sounds like World of darkness actually. If you haven't heard of it then check out this site:

Its the publishers site of the World of Darkness games, Basically its about vampires,werewolves, mages, changlings, and Prometheans (like frankenstein and golems and stuff) living in our world (just a little darker version really), and there are also things on humans and the Hunters. You might find some things on the old WOD for free but you have to pay for the new WOD books. I have the books on vampire, werewolf, mage, and changleing as well as the hunter book. Its pretty cool and should give you some inspiration.

I'm really not one to take an already existing storyline and create an RP based off of it. I like to create my own things and put my own spin on it. I'll put up an example. ( the EoE RP is one, but this is another. Check one of my earlier posts. )
