I only began reading it, but so far I can tell u that its a Russian novel (written in English as well, obviously) and its about Vampires! It sounds REAL awesome, not to mention internationally popular! I'll update this post as soon as I can when I read a bit further into the book....<333 My appologies...
OKAY! HERE WE GO!-
Among normal humans live the "Others" possessing various supernatural powers. They are divided up into the forces of light and the forces of the dark, who signed a truce several centuries ago to end a devastating battle. Ever since, the forces of light govern the day while the night belongs to their dark opponents. In modern day Moscow the dark Others actually roam the night as vampires while a "Night Watch" of light forces, among them Anton.
I think this book is a bit more suitable for guys since it's write from a guy's view, but hey, what the hell? Im a girl, Im reading it, I like it!

Actually the second instalment is both written from a girls, guys and no ones point of veiw. These are great books and the newest book recently came out. The Watch books were great and the Night Watch and Day watch were great movies that went along with them.
