The colours of lilac and of black slowly painted the crimson sky, bright white orbs began to twinkle in the midst of the pastel array. With two fixated bright orbs, Alex kept close watch how the once warm sunny day, became a cool, chilly night.
The night had to be one of Alex's favorite points in time, that was made visible by his clear trips to lakes or large patched of water that only had the dancing of moonlit rays upon its aqua surface. The small colt was infact heading to one at this second, trailing through the clear paths that lead around the forest.
He wasnt dumb, his Dad had told him about the creatures that wander the darkness and he kept note of such wisdom. It was only a wonder once reaching the crystal contents of the lake, if he would be graced with company.
The peace was nice to hold close, but talking with someone, anyone once in a while could be refreshing.

 Little did the mare Usdia know that she would be meeting someone special tonight. Astropel and Lunar hasn't met yet, so she could honestly say that she had never met an Angeni. Though Lailah was a faithful companion. The two had similar personalties in liking to watch things. Lunar was timid, and shy. So she hadn't met to many others just in general. She took light steps as she headed toward the lake. It was a nice night out, and this lake was said to have a great view.
As she made her was through the path from her river home. She had no idea that Alexander was there. Her silver eyes looked around, before she went into the open area and she was she made her way to the waters edge it was then, that she noticed another there. She started to feel a bit nervous. Maybe it would be better if she just left...

Alex watched as the rays of the moonlight swirled along the surface of the water content in listening to their song. With perked ears, the shuffling of a presence near by lassoed them to flick towards where the sounds came from, making the colt turn calmly with an eased expression.
To panic about these sort of things got you know where, from what he had learnt so far, being calm and observant was the best way to survive however as his eyes settled on a small shadowed object, he wasn't completely unnerved at all. It was slender and not much bigger than himself if that, it was too fragile to be a male or so he thought watching the reflection within the water.
He took a gentle step forward, carefully trying not to scare the creature into fleeing.
"Wonderful night, wouldn't you agree?" he asked with a warm smile, only turning a polite nod directly towards the usida.

Hearing the voice slide over to her, she knew then that she had been noticed and running away could cause more trouble them good. "Y-yes..."She agreed nervously. As she looked over, she noticed that it was a colt. An angeni one at that. So all fear soon left her body. Angeni were good creatures, nothing she needed to fear. She stepped out into the moon light, though still feeling shy, and she let him see her. Even as a foal, the colt was still a bit bigger then her, and she was full sized. It was kind of a funny thing.
Her motherly instincts triggered and she instantly looked for the colts parents. "Are... you here alone?" She was rather surprised by that. She would be a helicopter mom when she finally had foals. the parents would have been even larger then her. Just thinking of ho large they would be to her, she felt a little more frazzled. Maybe it would have been better if the colt was alone...

The figure neared and to Alex's surprise it was a much smaller creature than himself, a lot like their baby sitter Yesei had been, he hadn't seen him in a while.. The two legger must have had him working hard when he wasn't in the lands of their herd. Although at such a young age, he wasn't sure how it worked just yet.
slowly, he turned his head left and then to the right, there was no one else here maybe a few little animals wandering home or enjoying the moonlit waters. His gaze fell back to her, a smile crossing along his lips.
"Apparently so... Don't let that catch you by surprise though, Im usually out alone when I can get away with it" He gave a light laugh at the thought even though he really shouldn't go to the amount of trouble to worry the two loving parents atop of the mountain. His father would be running wild with drama if he realized but he knew his mother would have alot more faith in him.. He always had been the more responsible one of the current three.
To be honest, he was more curious as to what had brought the small usida mare out so late. Was she just enjoying the night too?
"So... Uh, whats up? You out here enjoying a midnight stroll?" He threw his vision in circles up then to the floor, then back direct. "Forgive me, Im Alex! Kind of forgetting about the introductions lately, how about yourself M'lady?"

So he was alone. No need to fear the parents. Though was it safe for a foal? Then again she was even smaller then him. That would be kind of a contradicting question. Though were Angeni foals different from any other foal?
She shook her head deciding it wasn't worth the trouble to try and figure out. "Just try not to worry them to much." She smiled a little.
"Oh...? Well... I kind of prefer the night, or even the winter. Having a black pelt makes those summer days extra hot." She laughed a little. She and Lailah found a calmness in the night. "I also like being graced by the moons light." It didn't burn as much as the suns would.
She was glad that he had remembered the introductions because lord knows she was far to nervous to remember herself. "I'm Lunar..." She told him. Though it was almost instantly she forgot his name in her nervousness... "Alex." She repeated vocally trying to keep the name fresh.
