I'm looking to join a 4th Edition game.
I'm a little new to D&D, but I play a 1.5 games a week (IRL), so I think I've got a pretty good grasp of 4E rules.
So if anyone is getting a game started or needs an extra player let me know.

don't like what? 4E?
well I tried to read the 3.5 handbook but i think i had a stroke half way thought the second page...
If you do decide to start a game I would love to jump in. I prefer to play caster Characters, Cleric, Sword Mage, Wizard, etc.
I would like to try out the new Bard class. its only in the play testing phase right now, but from what I've seen on the official character creator it looks like a fun class.
anyway let me know if you start a game!

The Bard class is available on the Wizards of the Cost official character creator. The Class will be officaly realesed next month when they make the Players Handbook 2 avalible.
PH2 will also have other classes like Barbarion, Druid, Artificer, Invoker, and maybe others. all of those classes are also avalible in the character creator.
I think you have to subscribe to D&D magazine to down load the program, but its avable on the D&D offical site.

There's a free demo version that you can download without a subscription. In any case, if someone starts up a V4 game, dibs on Warforged Barbarian.

I was originally going to play a Bard/Rouge, but if you want to be our pickpocket I can probably come up with a Bard/Wizard (or Bard/SwordMage).
ok so we just need a DM i think...
anyone...?
Bueller?

I will do it i guess... but in order for you to do a multiclass you need to be level 11 or higher unless you want to do 3e multiclassing

Actually I just got home form my Sunday IRL game, guess what....
My group just wiped today! eek
My Cleric is Dead! crying
*sigh*
anyway, I've decided to use my Bard idea for that group. So instead I could play a Cleric, Wizard, or Artificer. which ever the team needs the most.
and technically in 4E to multi class you have to be at least lvl 4 and take one of the many multi class feats. you have to be level 11 to paragon multi class and have taken 3 multi class feats or something like that... i don't understand it all that well.
EDIT:
Ok, technically my Cleric didn't DIE die... he was just captured and sold into slavery... and now a Giant portal to a realm of undead is open and there's no one to stop it... Fun times!

multiclass feats are crap cause they only give you limited access to the class and no you don't need the feats to multiclass at 11th level I went over that part alot in the book to understand it.

really? I read the 4E players hand book and from the way its worded it sounds to me like Paragon Multi-classing requires that you first take:
Novice Power Multi-Class Feat Acolyte Power Multi-Class Feat Adept Power Multi-Class Feat
if you have one of each of those for one multi class you can choose that class as your paragon path.
eh I don't know... I wasn't planning to Paragon multi class anyway, I just wanted to take Sneak of Shadows as my 4th Level Feat.
anyway, so I think we are ready to get started, whats our next step?
