"Kaiba..Kaiba I swear, will you come back here already!" triton huffed he rarely raised his voice, but he was getting frustrated, losing track of the poe that guided him. Often times he wondered if he should just let him run off, let him vanish for all he was worth! As if he needed him...but..then again, right now without him, he would just end up lost. Damn the poe to the shadows it came from!

Kaiba simply snickered and ignored the boys shouting, irritating voice, like nails on a chalk board. Oh but how it pleased his dark heart to know that poor little triton, the pathetic human was completely lost in these woods without him.
Besides he hadnt run off without reason! A presence a strong small presence had presented itself to him, a feeling of excitement that had captured the poes attention. So naturally he had to chase it down, whether his idiotic human companion was swift enough to follow him or not..
He was sure the boy would catch up soon anyways, maybe...

Kaiba sneered, not so much at being called little, but for the fact that he was referred to as tritons pet..The thought of it made his vision burn, tamed him by that idiot! Never! Never in a thousand years would he be considered tamed. "Ooh, careful where your tongue treads p***y cat." he hissed with a smirk watching the cat move ever so gracefully, as if he floated on air. The firey little devil...

"I? Heh, and this forest is yours, I saw no sign saying so." He chuckled biting down his anger, subduing it with calm thought as the cat mentioned some of his favorite things. "Riches, power, I seek that and more. Of course I really have no need of it, but still.." the idea of the cats power and riches, intruiging. Very very enticing to the poes senses, of course this evil creature would never dare give such things.


Triton could only groan as he came closer...they're they were, two evil looking creatures seemingly conspiring. He didnt have the fondest clue of what kaiba was doing, but he knew it couldnt be good. Specially considering who the cat was..he remembered him vaugely from before, of course one quest blended into another after a while. He was sure he'd seen the cat quite a few times now though. "Kaiba, what in the heck are you doing.."
Looking over the sleek feline creature that burned the very ground it walked on, hardly a pleasant sight.

Sense it kaiba could, an overwhelming nagging voice on his mind was the cats presence, the fact that kaiba knew he owned these lands. Heh any dolt with half of his wits could realize it. He was just stubborn.."Tainted..at least im no flea ridden beast of flesh like you are" he hissed though it was a poor comeback. Face twisting in rage at being ordered about.

"B-bow! Worship! I would sooner worship a human then worship you! Ugly mean spiteful.." kaiba grumbled on the slow insults flitting beneath his breath as he studdied the cat with a glare. Yelping at the sudden rush of noise and hooves, ducking his head low as the demonic cat took a small angered flight...

Triton ducked back all to aware of the cats anger, his flames scared him the most really. Having simply let the two argue until the sudden interuption. Now of course the cat seemed horribly angry, it almost made it cute in a way..although that was stupid to think.

Kaiba laughed as he recomposed himself, mocking the cats annoyance, Finally! Something to piss him off! "Eech..What! S-servants! I serve you ho-" cut off as triton snatched the poe back, placing a firm hand over his mouth and gazing up at the flaming creature.

"Kaiba..shut up will you.." he hissed cursing softly before nodding. "Heh whatever you say your highness, what exactly is it you need us servants to accomplish for you?" the hylian male grinned charmingly, he may not have liked being called a servant..though technically he was. That and he could spot a good job offering when it came along, the cat needed something done. Maybe he could garner some reward out of the beast?

Kaiba only glared, huffing and pulling away from triton, crossing his eyes as he looked at his human companion with the utmost disdain..how dare triton pull something like that. And in front of their enemy too! Was the man trying to make him look like a fool?!

Triton simply rolled his eyes, ignoring kaibas pouting mood as he nodded to the cat. "Come now, I am only human right? Can you realy blame me for my greed forest lord?" he wasnt sure what else to call the creature. He smiled none the less though, wincing at the creatures cry..it did sound like it was in so much pain..

Kaiba blinked giving the cat a curious look, the idea of hunting down and catching some exotic prey..destroying something. At the moment it was appealing even if he did want the cat to suffer annoyance and starve!!

"I dont know...I mean.."

"Yes! Of course we agree!" kaiba hissed cutting triton off this time. "Just tell us where to go you wretched nuisance, well get your damned beast" the poe snarled.

Triton sighed.."I am a tracker..im sure if you need, we can punish it for you?" yeah..a reward was definetly going to be wanted for this one.

( *yawn* Forgive me if I make mistakes. )

Crimson gaze slid towards the scarecrow. A tight scowl tainted its features, though it quite nearly blended with its pitch black fur. Flames burned at its paws underside, flashing as it took a step towards the crow. "O', if is not another forest-dweller! Doth thee seek to blame me for thy poor hunting? Such a scoundrel, you are!"

Another howl sounded, louder than the rest. It wasn't until a second past that a wave of energy seemed to billow past them, dripping with an evil taint that seemed darker than that of the cat's. Silence seemed to echo then, as though the wildlife could not pull up the courage to either run or make any noise of protest.

However, the cat was fearless. It was also powerful, and seemed to grow even more angered, if possible. "I knew that adventurer could not tame the beast for long! Such trust I place upon humans, and they still disappoint! It grows tiresome!"

Twisting its lithe body, it gazed towards the three. "Even drooling idiots could understand that if that does not shut up, this forest shall be eerie indeed! Evil does not fight evil, you see? The point is lost when that occurs, so I must rely on others to do my bidding." Its mocking tone was not lost in its voice."If it were something of good against evil, I shall surely lay mayhem upon the good." Its tail swayed lazily in the air.

The crow watched in breathless annoyance until she could feel it, a presence that displaced the air around her with what felt like electricity. She turned her head to find a scent but found none. Elvauating the situation left her with one notion, that something old had found them. She knew not if they could compete in age, but anything old was to be feared.

She put a hand to her temple and felt Sand stir, the newborn personality felt the fear far more strongly than the old crow herself.

She beat her feathered wings again to lift her to a branch low enough to observe yet high enough to keep from participating in what was to occur. She watched the poe with interest, noting it's little bald head and strange little hat. He practically lead his human by the ear, which kept the crow amused. Humans were a new yet dying race, far to eager to exploit and too slow to learn. She felt no compassion for the like. The crows pink flames quickened again as Sand began to stir.

What fast approaches has seen the world turn. Take care, little one, so you many someday say the same.

The scarecrow’s grip on her branch intensified abruptly as her head snapped up in recognition. Sweat! The stink of the salty fluid stung her sensitive nostrils like serpent venom. Glowing pink eyes searched the immediate area, settling on broad shoulders peeking out from behind an adolescent tree. She shifted her weight; a new variable could make this sport more interesting.
