Rules
Please read this information thoroughly. These rules will explain to you the guidelines and boundaries within these guilds and it would be in your best interest for you to read them. We don't want anyone to be confused so this will be straight to the point.
1. Follow gaia TOS at all times.
2. Guild members must be active role players. We frequently check our member list and keep careful track of your post count. But besides posting frequently, members are expected to actually bring something to the guild; dead space and posting just enough to get by are not acceptable actions. You need to interact with other members and participate in the game plots, or you might just as well not be here. The guild mods will be checking your post count once you first enter this guild and then you are on your own to keep active. We will ban you if you just forget about this guild all together.
3. You can be in any amount of role plays but you must remember to post replies in all of them or leave them. It's not acceptable to let a role play hang because you got bored with it or you're over your head in role plays.
4. We ask that your character belongs to one clan only. You can have as many characters as you can handle and they can be in different clans but one character can't belong to two different clans. This will help keep the guild orderly and will stop some of the confusion. Note that you can role play in any of the forums that aren't clan specific.
5. The amount of characters you can role play with isn't limited but we ask that you keep track of where you post them at.
6. God-moding is not tolerated here ; this means your character is invincible. If you feel someone is playing unfairly or always seems to gain the upper hand, you may let a guild moderator know and we will deal with it.
5. Do NOT be disrespectful to people in this guild for any reasons. We understand that conversations can gets heated when we have debates, both in and out of character, and that's to be expected. Keep in mind that the role playing forums are for role playing. Don't take things to heart please.
6. Don't cyber in this guild. Romance is fine and adds interest in a role play but remember this website is for kids and this guild can be deleted if someone decided to go too far during a role play. It wouldn't be fair to any of us if this guild was to be deleted because people got a little too into their romance scene. Carry on into a private message if you insist on breaking gaia's rules.
7. After reading this you must introduce yourself and then go to the character historian to post your character. You cannot join or create a role play until you have made your character.
Illiteracy Rules
These rules should be self-explanatory to any role player but we continuously see role players breaking these simple rules.
OCC I've been seeing too much out of character context while role playing. If you want to talk to someone, message them or talk to them in the chatterbox here. I'm not going to be too strict about this but it must stop now, in every other post its another OCC comment.
Acting Context I'm sick of seeing people role play like this, always using symbols for their characters actions such as, *, ~ , -, alright its annoying. Using symbols for actions is not a proper form of role playing. Not only does it make you seem stupid, it makes it harder to connect to what your character's doing. Write out your actions, it makes your posts not only longer, but more respectable.
One liners I'm pretty sure I speak for every literate member in this guild when I say one liners suck. They not only give you nothing to work with, but it makes it easier for your character to be ignored. If you're having trouble coming up with something, don't post at all until you can at least have three to four good sentences. Add some dialog and describe actions or your characters settings to make your posts longer.
-----------------------------------
If you are caught breaking any of the rules, the following actions will be taken:
First offense - A guild mod will PM you with a warning.
Second offense - You will be warned again and may be banned from a role play.
Third offense - You will be banned from the guild.
Also these rules can and will be updated from time to time when any of the mods see it fit.
