It was a fine and chilled night, that Tokidoki roamed the grounds. One would usually find him flying the skies on a cool night. However, the sky was only filled with clouds that took over the stars shine. He didn't want to get caught up, flying into a cloud either. He'd much rather roam the grounds in hopes of finding something intriguing to take up his attention.

As his hooves and the moon light guided his way. He let the wind play with his mane, and the grass hitch a ride on his tail. He always seemed to have grass and leaves in his tail, but he didn't mind. His tail was pretty long, and wasn't going to try and keep it from touching the ground. Plus, it would only leave eventually anyway. Stretching out his wings for a second, before he made his way through a slight tight area in the woods. He was slightly larger then the average stallion, but nothing to gastric.

He continued to make his way. Letting the moon light seep through the trees. Random rays of moon light making Toki's stars shine as they hit his body. But not only his body, his wings! When the light hit the feathers, they just seemed to glow. His wings were almost like another night sky, of purple and red. He liked to look at them in a reflection when the sky was like today. But she was looking for any sort of mirror this night. He was looking for something new, that wouldn't usually peek his interest.

He made his way out of the tight area.. And was amazed of the sight. He seemed to have made his way to some sort of secret garden. He had never seen this while visiting the stars. The trees must have covered it, anytime he pasted it in the skies. Either that, or he just never seemed to notice it. There were many different kinds of flowers, many he had never seen before. There was also a small pond in the garden, that the moon light seemed to make glow. He had never seen a sight like this before. This was exactly what he was looking for!

"Never seen this sort of place before." He couldn't help but try to look for new things.

Persephone stirred, roused from her gentle slumber by the muffled sound of approaching hooves. She blinked to clear the sleep from her eyes, half-lidded gaze staring dreamily out at the world. Company? So late?

She rose with a single graceful, fluid motion. She stepped out from beneath the gentle folds of the olive cloth pooled about her tawny hooves, and came out into the moonlit clearing.

Her ivory skin, tinted with faint rosey tones, shimmered becomingly in the moonlight. She practically gleamed, golden and amber hues of her mane and tail playing upon the deeper greens that surrounded her sheltered resting place. Fresh flowers, plucked that very eve, adorned her supple tresses.

Her sultry, innocent gaze took in the form of the dazzling crimson stallion before her. The very stars above glistened upon his rich coat, speckling his wings with flashes of brilliant gloss. His hue was polished, vivid, his ample stature offset by his pleasing features. ... And then she saw the tangle of twigs and leaves scattered through his blood-red tail.

A smile graced her features, and it seemed to light up the world. She lowered her statuesque head in a graceful bow, the sweeping gesture perfectly executed so that not a flower fell out of place.

"Greetings."

Tokidoki was quite fascinated with the sight before him, he didn't seem to see his company right before him. Her natural colors and the night sky seemed to have played a trick on him. It wasn't until she stood up, that his eyes were drawn to her. It didn't seem odd that such a mare as she would be found in a place like this. She seemed to give off a gentle feeling. She could surely fool anyone with her looks, if she was a more deceptive character.

The light seemed to make her shine. He was amazed at how that was possible. Shaking his head, to snap out of his gaze, he stretched out his wings again. He didn't know what to say at the moment, as she seemed to adjust herself to her awakening. He didn't mean to wake her, he didn't even know he was on his way to his area. Or, that this place was here. Toki was kind, and would've probably left if he had seen the mare sleeping with the flowers. But it was to late now.

"Heey.. Sorry to wake you. I had no idea this place was here, or that a sleeping beauty resided as well." He smiled a bit nervous, everything was quite unexpected.

I suppose the moon had it's own plans for Toki tonight. But he surely wouldn't complain with it's little games~

Persephone quirked one delicate brow, amused at the stallion's halting speech. "I would much prefer good company over sleeping away the hours between night and day." She excused his intrusion with a melodic aria, shrugging as though to dismiss his apology.

She graciously ignored the compliment he payed her, thinking to herself that she was not so beautiful when compared with a night such as this. Flowers that bloomed only when moonlit touched their rosey petals were in abundance, a recent rain leaving everything fresh and green. New growth budded from every tree, and the stream ran ceaselessly with newly melted snow.

She moved out of the moonbeam, and her coat ceased its shimmering. It was as lustrous as it had been moments before, but it no longer seemed to shine with ethereal light.

"Now that I am awake, what have you in mind to pass the time?" She was ready for anything; let him think of a game she would not play. Her impish charm was good natured, for no malice lay within her heart, and there were no malcontent schemes brewing in her cunning mind. Only pure, unadulterated fun.

"I am Persephone." Named for the goddess of the Spring whose virtuous form had tempted the most despicable Lord of the Dead- and with good reason.

He was glad he didn't bother her. He didn't want to unleash the wrath of a mares scorn. What stallion did? But she was nice about it, so it was all good. He looked around to admire the garden some more. He'd rather not get caught up staring at his new company. Some might take staring the wrong way. But see as how she didn't mind him waking her, why would she mind staring? Better safe, then sorry. As some would say.

But he could only watch her as she moved. He was caught off guard when she asked him what they should do to pass the time. He wasn't expecting to meet anyone, so he had no idea what they could do. He also didn't expect someone who just woke up to be eager to do something. He tried to think of something, but his mind some completely blank this late at night. He hadn't had company in a few days, so you can imagine how it would be hard to come up with something to do.

"Um, uh." He let out a light cough before he said his name, as it didn't seem to compare to hers. "Tokidoki.. Nice to meet you." He nodded, only to confess to his blank mind. "But.. I have no idea how we could pass the time." He looked around a bit embarrassed.

He was acting a bit odd. He was a rock star, and acting all awkward. He would usually be the charming, and jokingly fun jerk kinda stallion (or at least thats the personality I had in mind XD). I'd suppose he was still adjusting to his new company. Especially after so many days of him being alone. But once he got used to her being around. He would surely be his self again. One would hope anyway~
